Hi! I’m Steven, a computer science tutor with over 10 years of experience. My academic journey began in Arizona, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University in 2010. To deepen my expertise, I pursued a Master’s in Software Engineering at the University of Arizona, graduating in 2015. Later, I advanced my studies with a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Northern Arizona University in 2019. Alongside these academic milestones, I hold certifications in AWS Cloud Solutions, CompTIA Security+, and Oracle Java Programming, which help me connect technical theory with real-world applications.

Over the past 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching learners of all ages, from 10 to 55 years old. My teaching journey has included elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as college students and adult professionals. I specialize in computer science, computer programming, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. I’ve helped undergraduates build strong foundations in programming, algorithms, and data structures; guided graduate students through advanced topics such as AI, machine learning, and distributed systems; and supported professionals preparing for certifications in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and software development. My experience spans one-on-one tutoring, interactive online lessons, and collaborative group workshops—always tailored to different learning styles.
