I am a professional academic and creative writing editor with a passion for coaching students to improve their ability to express themselves and their ideas through writing. Most of my classes focus on academic writing, creative writing, self-editing skills, and reading comprehension. I welcome all writing projects large and small, and projects of all levels of difficulty, from late elementary paragraphs to college prep essay writing.
I have worked on admissions and exam review boards for several academic institutions, and I have taught on a wide range of platforms and in many different scholastic environments, both in person and online. I put all of this experience to use to create classes that hone each student’s ability to effectively communicate, specifically through writing. A student’s ability to effectively communicate and understand written words is the key to academic success, regardless of what subject is their favorite or what their career goal might be. Most of my classes focus on writing in a variety of styles and on various topics. I also teach reading comprehension to help students improve their ability to understand different styles of writing.
Students and their families are always welcome to message me with topics they want to learn more about, or with skills they need to develop to improve their reading, writing, analysis, and general English skills.
