However, he refused to give me any ideas or discuss the essay together. He said to me that he would only read and edit the essay after I finish. He keeps saying that this is ILLEGAL and UNETHICAL! But I told him that my school writing center tutors also do the same thing. But because of their schedule didn't work out for me, I'd rather look for a private tutor. He just told me that he would only do edit/correct grammar on my essay. That's fine.

Prior to the tutoring session, Danny requested a copy of my son's essay so that he could get a sense of his writing and decide on how to best proceed. That worked out very well because he was able to jump right into the essay. Not only is Danny is a great writer, but he is able to teach well. My son's essay lacked focus so Danny helped him stay on topic and gave him guidance for future writings. He also encouraged my son by pointing out the strengths in the essay.

Not only that, I learned so much, she has helped me on my overall essay in the best way and tried to come up with good/new ideas so that I can put my words into it.
