She is a fantastic teacher and my experience has been very positive. Since I also speak Spanish, it is not common to find a gifted teacher like Edite who knows how to teach Portuguese to Spanish speakers. The class is structured. Each lesson I am learning new words, practicing speaking, and reading. One element that I am enjoying very much is grammar. Edite is a professional and patient teacher. Certainly I am looking forward to my next class. Obrigada! (Thank you!)

We have taken 3 classes thus far and already feel like we've learned so much! We've reviewed indefinite articles through explanation and exercises, definite articles, many verbs, new vocabulary, numbers, pronouns - and have practiced them through conversation. Egle sometimes speaks to us in Portuguese to help us start getting our ears used to hearing/listening, which really helps us with our pronunciation, accent, sentence formulation, and more.

Bill C.

I have some basic background in Portuguese. Attempting other programs, with disappointment, Biorn jumped right in to access my background knowledge, engaged us in Portuguese conversation and made an exciting lesson. I feel my goals to communicate in Portuguese will be reached in minimum time. He knows how to stay focused on the lesson and keeps it interesting. I look forward to our next class and highly recommend him.
