She provides excellent instruction of Russian grammar and colloquialisms, and she is always encouraging and patient. Her deep knowledge of Russian literature and culture sets her apart from other instructors I have worked with in the past. It was a real joy to discuss topics with such a knowledgeable teacher, from contemporary Russian culture to 19th and 20th-century literature. Our lessons were customized to the exact topics I wished to cover. I highly recommend her!

He was very patient with me, and very encouraging. Dr. D. simplified everything for me, and taught me how to really understand Literature. He was very accessible, and responded very promptly any time I contacted him. I will highly recommend him to anyone needing assistance. I was very lost when I started the World Literature course, but after being tutored by Dr. D., my final grade was an A. His fees are very reasonable and worth even more.

We have only met twice, but my son is going beyond the literature he is doing in class. E. L. comes with classical literature such as the Japanese folk story, The Crane Wife, and for him to be able to read it all the way through is amazing! I can't wait to see what he'll be reading next week.
