I am going into my junior year. I am currently taking calc bc. I have a unique situation where I moved and changed schools this summer. Last year, I took ap precalc and had success, getting a 5 on the exam. My last school did not treat calc ab as a prerequisite to calc bc. My precalc teacher highly recommend for me to take bc calc. My new school treats calc ab as a prerequisite to calc bc. They advised me to take calc ab first this year, and bc next year. I wanted to take bc calc this year so next year I could take ap stats or another math class. They said they would give me a mock exam to see if I would fit into calc bc. This summer I taught myself calc ab and took their mock exam, getting a high 3 on the calc ab exam. They still recommended that I take calc ab, but since I passed, I was able to take calc bc. These first couple of days have been challenging, and I believe there are gaps in my ab calc knowledge. I also struggle on how to answer the questions on the ap exam, especially the frqs. I want to fill these possible gaps and become more familiar with the ap exam questions to be successful with bc calc.

My son is starting High School in two weeks and I would like for him to be tutored to improve his writing skills. He is in the pre IB program. From what I heard the program involves a lot of writing and I feel he needs help to improve his writing skills.
