Graduate school had gone swimmingly for me until that class. I was (am) an older adult, returning to school after many years, pursuing a degree to become a mental health counselor. I had not had a science class since 9th grade biology in the mid 1960s, and had struggled and failed at most high school math classes. Biobases as a class offered interesting material - at least, I could see how brain chemistry and the related material was important and pertinent to understanding mental health issues.

I'm a biochemistry major (pre-health) studying at the University of North Texas. As a pre-health student, my grades in all math and science related courses are extremely important in determining my admittance into medical school, Ph.D. programs, master degree in Physician Assistance etc. I’m a slightly older “Non-Traditional” student that decided to go back to school later in life to pursue a career in medicine having almost no background in the sciences. I knew I needed help, so I contacted Sidney.

Stuart had a complete lecture for every subject (Advanced Health Assessment for Family Nurse Practitioner) and body system I needed to cover. He also has a wide array of knowledge on a range of health and science subjects which he utilized for background to help me understand why or how a disease process works. I also appreciated his real life experience and examples Stuart would share to help me understand.
