Hello! I'm Wendy, I've spent the last 20 years helping students discover that science doesn't have to be overwhelming, it can actually be fun. Whether you're trying to raise your grade, prepare for an AICE or AP exam, take the FDACS Public Health and Applicators Exams, understand life science concepts, work on a special certification or simply gain confidence in the classroom, my goal is to help you truly understand the material rather than just memorize it.

I earned my bachelor's degree from Florida Gulf Coast University with concentrations in Environmental Science and Education and later completed my Master of Education in Science Curriculum and Instruction. I have also completed a Certificate in Public Health through Cornell University, am a Florida Master Naturalist, a certified Director of Forest Schools, and have graduate training in Corporate Instructional Design and eLearning. I also teach certification and training course for students taking the FDACS Public Health and Applicators License exams in the vector borne disease industry and pest management. Before becoming an educator, I proudly served in both the United States Army.

During our sessions, I take the time to identify where the confusion begins and then break challenging concepts into manageable pieces using visuals, examples, practice problems, and real-world connections. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and develop the confidence to solve problems independently. My goal isn't simply to help you pass your next test, it's to help you become a stronger, more confident learner.
