I have a grandson 6 years old. He has had some home school lessons, as well as virtual tutoring using Orton-Gillingham method and he is progressing but looking to get more 1 on 1 in person sessions as we feel he would do better 1 on 1 due to his age. He was tested by Sylvan Learning Center, testing at Kindergarten level. He knows his letters and sounds, learning vowels and consonants, and starting to decode words sounding out the letters. Would like to get tutoring to help him phonetically sound out and decode letters in words, and read words in sentences. We are in the Rockwall, Texas area.
