She explained a basic structure of TOEFL writing and trained me how I can increase credibility, logic and all little details including grammar issues. I found myself becoming more comfortable writing essay. She is really patient, passionate and perceptive teacher. I felt stuck and frustrated very often, but she has been really persistent and lightened up the mood. I feel very lucky that I can have Chris as my first teacher and I would wholeheartedly recommend Chris to anyone learning TOEFL!

I took his TOEFL lesson and it was a great experience to learn from him. Before his lesson, I didn't know how to tackle TOEFL study. He taught me how to study, how to score up with many logics and techniques. Especially he taught me how to write TOEFL essay with these logics using some templates. I did homework before every lesson, 3 essays, 3 speaking, 1 listening, and 1 reading, which made my skill much better than before. He also pointed my weak point, grammar.

I have recently received my TOEFL score and I was more than happy to see the result! My previous TOEFL scores on SPK & WRT were 20&20, however after taking 5 lessons with tutor Laura, they rose to 23&25. I wanted to thank Laura for helping me achieve a score I had desired. Laura has a lot of useful materials to provide on TOEFL prep and always well prepares for the lesson. I highly recommend her for those who are preparing for TOEFL. :)
