Then he took me step by step through dozens of mathematical questions that simulate actual GRE questions, and showed how to solve them and how to avoid going wrong. Meher also showed me creative testing tactics by thinking outside the box – a strategy I believe helps one to confidently attack the different types of questions on the GRE. He answered pertinent questions that correspond to actual GRE questions in content, format, and level of difficulty.
I took the GRE too many times before deciding I needed to do something different, and found Jon M. on this website. I took the GRE on 9/30/13 and got a 147 (29th percentile). I needed to get my score above the 50th percentile in less than a month to retake the exam on 10/28/13. I was sick of studying on my own and emailed Jon about a week after I took the GRE in September. We really only had 3 weeks to schedule meetings, but he was very flexible and scheduled me right away.
She told me this was no problem and we worked together over a few months preparing for the GRE. She not only had a full plan for the test, but also was able to teach the material in multiple ways that worked with my styles of learning. She was especially helpful for the math portions.
