I found Dan to tutor ACT English/Reading for my friend's son who is an English learner and has hard of hearing problem. Dan taught him 21 lessons over three months. Dan is a responsible and patient tutor. He taught the student strategies of taking on the ACT problems. The student feels he is much better prepared now to take the coming ACT test.
Laure is a very patient and knowledgeable tutor. There was a problem, however, which was of my making, not of hers - I am hard of hearing, and the place we agreed to meet had a great deal of background noise which made it difficult for me to hear sometimes. This is my fault for not foreseeing the problem. Things will be much better at our next meeting, to which I am looking forward, and for which I am preparing.
She is a business professional and does an amazing job at delivering an encouraging learning experience, for my son. 1/8/2014: Tonight was my son's final lesson with Carole before his SSAT, which will be in two days. We feel so fortunate that we had Carole and my son is feeling a lot more confident in his ability to perform well in the exam. couldn't ask for a better tutor!! She genuinely cares about her students and is truly committed and encouraging!!
