About
Christina: |
|
I have a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Rollins College with a minor in Music, and a Certificate in Applied Linguistics from the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics in Dallas, TX. I have been tutoring professionally for over five years in various subjects - Spanish, English, SAT/ACT prep, FCAT prep, Algebra 1 & 2, and basic subjects from age 4 through 18. I have tutored Spanish at both the high school and college levels. While attending Rollins College, I was trained and certified as a CRLA Certified Master Spanish Tutor and worked as a peer tutor at my college. I am now a linguist and am learning a native Mexican language and developing literacy materials in that language. I also spent all of 2007 living among native Spanish speakers in Mexico, and therefore speak Spanish fluently. |

powerpoint

I have been using powerpoint for the past 8 years. I have used it to prepare presentations for class and for my job, ranging from 5 min presentations to hour-long presentations. I am skilled at using sound clips, pictures, videos, and animations in my powerpoints and have received a lot of positive feedback on my presentations. They are high-quality presentations that aren't too busy and overwhelming nor bare-bones and boring. I have had people from different organizations request that I teach their employees how to make/give powerpoint presentations.
