About Yoshie:

I have taught Japanese for over 10 years mostly on the side. I am a native Japanese from Tokyo region. My speech is Tokyo Japanese without dialect while dialect has nice warmth that I love, my strength is teaching you what is considered standard or proper Japanese. I have taught Japanese full time at Bucknell University as a TA. I have a certificate from Japan to teach Japanese to English speaking student. My teaching experiences include Salem-Keizer's community program, elementary schools and private tutoring. I also worked with students in ESL program. My teaching method could be flexible as I have experience teaching wide range of students. I have taught English speaking students as well as students with ESL background. My career background is accounting, overseas trading and have received business Japanese protocol and etiquette training from one of the leading Japanese automobile companies where I worked in Tokyo. I am a patient mother of three. I love fine arts, music, dance ( I just started dancing hula again myself) and playing music instruments.
