Hunger Games The 1st Book

I am going to have a book report soon. and the book I am reading for that Book Report is "The Hunger Games". The thing i wanna know is: Would it be easier to watch the movie for the book Report or should I read the book?

Reading the book will take more focused attention and mental effort, and thus is generally more difficult.  

HOWEVER: it will ACTUALLY be easier: heres why: the movie-makers do not always "go by the book": and may change a lot of things to make the movie more interesting. So if you watch the movie, you will get the book facts wrong, and so you will get a bad grade.

 

So, its easier reading the book in the long run because you will get a better grade for your assignment, AND you will have made your brain work harder- so next time you will be better at doing so.

 

READ the book!!! :))

Hi Asd....

 

It's really better to read the book. The book has much more meaning and goes deeper than the movie. Don't get me wrong, it's a great movie, but the book is much richer.

 

Also, there are some events that differ from the book to the movie, or are left out or added in.

 

The good thing about the movie is that if you've seen it, you'll have an easier time understanding the basic story line when you read the book.

 

But YES, read the book--you'll be glad you did.
