I have worked as a research chemist for more than 25 years. Throughout my career opportunities to teach and mentor at the undergraduate and graduate level are among my most gratifying experiences. Science and math are an important aspect of our countries future and as a result I have decided to invest my time and talent to also reach out to younger students. My research and training has enable me to work in a broad range of disciplines. My expertise is primarily in math and science. I have Ph.D. in Chemistry and love working with young students particularly those that are eager to learn but struggling to grasp difficult concepts. Making analogies through story telling is one of the approaches I use to help young students connect with abstract concepts.

I have taught at the undergraduate level for some time. At this level young students often have to be taught organizational skills and how to independently study. Such skills can be applied at all academic levels with age appropriate modifications.

I have mentored students from high school, undergraduate and graduate level from more than 20 years. I have taught at the undergraduate level for some time.

Biostatistics

I have worked in biological sciences research for the last 25 years conducting numerous studies requiring biostatistics. I have Ph.D. in Biochemistry.

Linear Algebra

I am certified in both Algebra I and II as well as numerous other technical subjects. I have a PhD in Chemistry.

Microbiology

I have conducted research for more than 20 years developing antimicrobial technologies and anti-fouling surfaces. Although my Ph.D. is in chemistry, a significant portion of my research centers around microbiology.

Microsoft Outlook

I use Microsoft Outlook as a primary source to not only communicate via email but integrate email messages with task and calendar. I have learned to write rules and utilize filters for optimal efficiency.
