Outstanding Resource
My son has Atypical Aspergers and struggles with certain subjects in school. Through WyzAnt I was able to find a tutor that has expertise instructing kids that are on the spectrum. Our son began to excel in the subjects that he previously struggled with. Then we moved to another state and wished we could take Susan, our tutor, with us. With the new school we thought we would take a "wait and see" approach before hiring another tutor. 3 months into the new school year with a different curriculum and a new teacher we knew it was time to explore getting another tutor. For us it was a no brainer. We had such a positive experience and amazing results with our last WyzAnt tutor that we immediately logged on and found another amazing one! Once again our son is excelling! It also makes a huge difference as many of these tutors come into your home and with the background checks we feel so much more secure. I have recommended this site to so many people and before we left one of my friends hired our previous tutor and they LOVE her! I am so very grateful for this site and for the gift of education and confidence these outstanding tutors have been able to give my son!! Platinum ratings!!! From a very very grateful mother.
Helpful customer support
After I had completed all my tutoring sessions I had money left on my account. Of course, being a first time user, I was concerned about receiving my refund. Well, to my surprise it was as easy as I had read in the policy. I simply called customer service, stated that no more sessions were needed and I wanted a refund. In two days I received the money in my bank account. It was as simple as that. No questions asked, no trying to get me to "save the money" for future use, no haggling at all. I will definitely used wyzant again. Everything went smoothly with the tutor and payments. Great great company!!!
Great Tutor Search and Selection
My search and selection for tutors via WyzAnt went very well! People responded quickly to my request for a tutor. I interviewed several people, all of whom I liked very much. I let my son make the final decision. He has had 2 sessions now and is very happy. Thank you!

Easier than I imagined
I found the right tutor on the first try. I bought a pre-paid package so that I can use it whenever someone in the family needs extra help with school work. It is great since I am not an expert in many of the areas that my kids need help with, especially math. I found a tutor that I thought I may like, e-mailed them, ran a background check, then the first day we met at the library for tutoring. I am very happy with the WyzAnt experience.

WyzAnt is easy to use and I found an excellent tutor with whom I am very pleased. I like the availability of the discount plans which are also easy to use. I am still somewhat new to WyzAnt but so far the experience is positive and I'm glad I found it.
Great tutor search and selection.
I was surprised at the ease and quality of tutors I found on WyzAnt that are in my area as well as the broad range of topics and subjects covered. We found a great tutor close by that works with our schedule and has been a huge help to my daughter. Well worth the money -- there's a tutor for every budget and a tutor for every subject and level. Definitely recommend this site and actually already have!

Great tutor search.
I found that using WyzAnt to find a tutor for my daughter easy. The only hard part about the search was which one to choose. I called one tutor and she came over on time and started right in on the lesson. After the tutor left my daughter and I talked and decided that this tutor was not the one for her and we message another tutor and this one is working out great for her.
Great Tutor Search and Selection
We began our search with the hope that we could locate my daughter's extremely talented former tutor at a now closed tutoring center. We realized that this would be a like searching for a needle in a haystack, but lo and behold, we found her through WyzAnt! She is a perfect fit for our daughter, who was comfortable with her from her very first tutoring session almost 18 months ago. We are thrilled that this situation turned out exactly as we had hoped, and that we were able to resume this productive professional relationship!
Great idea - fantastic selection of tutors.
I am very excited that I can find a tutor on a wide variety of subjects. There are so many tutors each with their own style. This is a tremendous resource -- so far I have been impressed with the tutors/tutoring sessions. I haven't found exactly what I have been looking for in a tutor, but I am not giving up yet. I like how there is up to a 15% discount and the account is online.

My tutor Tom has been extremely helpful, and using WyzAnt's website has made the experience that much easier. Great Tutor search
My daughter grades were falling and I wasn't sure what to do. I went to Google and typed in tutors in my area. I ran across WyzAnt tutoring and wasn't sure if this was a scam. I read through the profile of the tutors in my area and came across my tutor. I thought she had a very good profile and she was exactly what I was looking for. The fact that she has taught basic and AP math was very helpful. Needless to say, she is an excellent tutor and my daughters grades, attitude and confidence level have greatly improved in such a short time. Thank you.
Good overall experience.
I am always skeptical about online services but I was in dire need for a tutor for my daughter. My experience with Wyzant has been a positive one in many aspects. The customer service reps have been friendly and helpful. There are many tutors to choose from. The website is easy to use. We are happy with our tutor and the improvement my daughter is making.

Excellent service for locating a tutor!
My son needed a foreign language tutor, in Russian! Not easy to find in central Ohio. WyzAnt provided information on a tutor's experience, education and location. Perfect match for our needs. Our tutor not only teaches Russian, but is from the Ukraine, so has been a wealth of information about the culture! Our tutor is reliable, responds quickly to questions and makes tackling this very difficult language a fun experience for my son. He looks forward to his time with her. Great Tutor Search
Tried Craigslist first but was very uncomfortable dropping my daughter at local libraries with unknown tutors, WyzAnt had great bios, security checks and all tutors were willing to come to our home to work, hourly rates are reasonable and paying through WyzAnt is easy.
Good support and follow up reps
I think that this is a valuable resource for older students needing extra help to finish their career studies. I have found this website to be professional and helpful. I was called 2 weeks after I started tutoring to make sure my tutor was satisfactory.
Very efficient solution!
I have never used an online tutor search service and had no idea what to expect. It was a very good experience. We found a highly qualified tutor for AP Economics who was reliable, friendly and flexible. Response time was outstanding; results were also quite good. A+ for this great service. Now, if only all of the education in this country could be put into the hands of private industry!!!

Organic Chemistry Help
Wyzant has been amazing for helping me get a tutor. After not doing so well on an Organic Chemistry test, I was recommended by someone to just browse Wyzant and try and find someone who may be helpful. I was astounded by how much help is on Wyzant. I was able to get an excellent tutor who knew exactly what I was working with. I got all of the help I needed and I even began to learn new material that would be covered on the next exam! I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience on Wyzant, and I cannot say enough good things about getting the right tutor for you.
Wyzant makes finding a great tutor easy
I was overwhelmed in trying to find a tutor for my daughter. When I found WyzAnt, the process became simple. I was able to read profiles, student reviews and see pictures of the tutors. I contacted a few tutors and several tutors contacted me as well. WyzAnt made it easy to determine which tutors fit our needs as well as making it easy to pay for each session. We have only had 3 sessions with our tutor and my daughter is feeling more confident already. As a parent I really like the review that the tutor completes after each session. It helps me track my daughters progress.

Finding a tutor was easy through the website. The website was very easy to navigate through. Payment was simple and convenient. Did not have to contact Customer Service however information and notification through customer service emails was handled very well. Overall impression was excellent, would definitely use WyzAnt again to find another tutor.

I was referred to WyzAnt by another user. The process has been very straightforward and smooth. Registering, payment, and lesson arrangement all went off without a hitch. Easy, organized and effecient.
Working through your agency for our tutor is easy and reliable. The tutor is great! We had to try two or three (?) before we got the right match, which is fine. Laura is very knowledgeable, responsive and reliable. My daughter likes her, respects her and is willing to take suggestions. I have contemplated applying for tutor positions with WyzAnt as I am a licensed teacher. Our positive experience with WyzAnt is something that makes me want to think it about more seriously.
