Very helpful --- found a tutor within a few days
Although our experience to date has been limited, my grandson has been very happy with the tutor selected & it appears there has been significant progress already. The communication (through WyzAnt) made the initial contacts & followup with potential tutors an easy / efficient process.
Great Tutors And Easy Site To Use
This was my second time using the WyzAnt site for a tutor. It is easy to use and both tutors have been very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The billing is straight forward and convenient. I will recommend WyzAnt tutors to anyone who asks.
Great Experience!
My experience with WyzAnt has been great. I had difficulty finding a Japanese tutor for my son through the more traditional routes. So upon finding your website I was thankful to see several tutors who offered this subject. Yuko is an amazing person and educator so we are quite satisfied in that regard. We really like her reviews of lessons and other feedback, which I am happy to receive online. I like paying through the website as well. It smooths out the rough edges of the relationship. So I would definitely recommend WyzAnt.
Useful Service
It was very easy to connect with a tutor using WyzAnt. I like that the initial communication is through their site rather than giving out personal details and that reviews/background screenings are available. Payment, scheduling, etc. is all very simple. The service is a bit email-heavy for me, I could do with less in my inbox. Otherwise, I am very happy with the service.
Breadth of Options
Many options are available: in-person or online tutoring; price per hour and experience and number of hours tutored for a specific subject. This was important as we engaged a Latin tutor for our son as a tutor with a 1,000+ hours tutoring the subject was available online at a price I consider to be very reasonable versus tutoring costs in the area in which I live. The online option allows my son to sit in the comfort of his room and desk with no commuting time to meet with a tutor. Additionally, the whiteboard tool makes online tutoring a viable option.
Very Quick Response
WyzAnt made it extremely easy to find a French tutor for my high-school age son. We had one response within a few hours and several more within 24 hours. Billing was easy to set up, the rate is good, and the quality of our tutor is high.
Great Tutor Search for Exactly what we needed
This is an amazing website that allows you to look for private tutors without going to the costly competitors like Huntington. I believe that a private tutor specifically focuses in on your child and gears the lesson to his/her exact need. We found a wonderful tutor with so much knowledge of his area of expertise. WyzAnt tutoring is the BEST way to find a tutor!!!
Very Responsive and Efficient
WyzAnt responded promptly to my requests for tutors and provided several potential individuals to interview. The payment system and recording of lesson information is easy and efficient. We selected a tutor who is a great fit and are optimistic she will help our son improve his SAT score and reading comprehension skills overall.
Tutor Search and Selection
My daughter was struggling with her geometry class. I searched for local tutors through Google. I was quickly directed to WyzAnt tutoring. I sent a request for a tutor to contact me. A tutor got in touch with me before the day was out and we had scheduled our fist session with her. My daughter is improving and gaining confidence with every session. Process was easy
My husband and I wanted to get Spanish lessons. I found WyzAnt on the web. I was a little hesitant to try it but we did. We found a great tutor who has been terrific and patient with us. Excellent service!

More parents should know about this service. You should start a campaign and contact schools about your organization. Many choices of tutors and fees. Responsive tutors.! Found the right tutor the first time. She is an excellent match for my daughter!

Absolute Amazing Tutoring Experience
Using WyzAnt has been great, as it really provided me the chance to learn a language when my school was not offering it. Immediately upon registering, I was able to see quite a lot of people teaching said language in the area around where I live. I was quickly contacted by many, but in the end, chose one who has been absolutely incredible. WyzAnt has been a great help to me in my learning experience, and I would recommend it to many.

Heard about our current tutor from a friend who found him through WyzAnt. Was able to look up the tutor and find information about him though WyzAnt very easily. The information was helpful, and I loved that there were background checks. It helped me feel more comfortable hiring someone I did not already know. The payment and correspondence through WyzAnt has been super easy. I love how simple it is. We are also thrilled with our tutor! Our daughter has gone from failing to 100's since we started using Jerome! That is better success than I could have hoped for!!!
Easy Tutor Find
My experience with WyzAnt has been very nice. I got immediate response from several tutors in my area and was able to secure one to start right away. Also, every time my daughter meets with her tutor, I get an email right away with a short summary of what they work on. That's very reassuring.
