A Great Tool to Get Help for Your Kids
It's terrific to have a place to go where tutors and parents can meet up in an environment where WyzAnt has done the background work, and you can communicate with prospective tutors to find the right match for your child's needs. For me, finding someone qualified was only step one. WyzAnt provides a means to search for an individual who is a good match for your child's personal style and learning needs, as well as the tutor's "fit" with your child. WyzAnt provides a forum where you can get information you need about the tutor and then communicate personally with the tutor for follow up. I like that there is no obligation and that WyzAnt is there if you need them. I also find the fact that payment is made easy and automatic to be a plus, and the opportunity for discounts means I can afford to provide my child the full help he needs. Communication has been good, and I like the follow up after each session. Every prospective tutor I talked to before determining the right one for our family was open and eager to know about my child's needs. I got the feeling that they want to help and give your child the boost they may need. WyzAnt serves as a conduit worth exploring, and I will use them again if I need a tutor.

I wish this had been around when my child was younger. I live in a rural area and it was difficult to find a tutor nearby. Using WyzAnt this time, numerous qualified tutors responded in surrounding communities, allowing us to pick one that would work around my teenage sons school, band, and work schedule. What I really like is the on-line feedback after every session with the tutor, and the on-line payment feature.
Great website and easy to use
I was very impressed with the tutor we found through your website. She has been on time and very pleasant to work with. She is very good with children and gets right down to business. She has helped my daughter understand the math concepts and not just complete the homework. I like that we were able to find a tutor that specializes in specific subjects. The tutor goes over my daughter's work to see where there might be a problem area. They go over the homework, review tests, and go over the concepts to see that she can show all of her work and how she arrived an at an answer. The tutor also said she would be happy to speak with the teacher if it was needed. I also like the convenience of setting up the account and the billing. I have paid in increments and have not had any problems. I have even referred another family who became new customers of yours. I will continue to use your services and the tutor through your site.
Great Tutor Search and Selection
My daughter is 3 1/2 years old and diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech and mild right-sided Cerebral Palsy. This diagnosis puts her at risk educationally since she is mute and cannot write at this point. Because Apraxia with no cognitive delays is a rare condition, it seemed impossible to locate the right tutor to assist her. Until we found WyzAnt. We instantly found tutors that could understand and teach American Sign Language (ASL) and had special education training. The tutor we chose even had experience as an Individual Assistant for a kindergartner with special needs. Kindergarten readiness is our focus after all. Local Rates for tutoring businesses are around $65.00 per hour. We pay $40.00 per hour for someone with higher qualifications. We started immediately and found the payment options wonderful. We appreciate not having to exchange funds directly and the computer program was easy to use. We also appreciate being able to rate the lesson so that the tutor has feedback. We highly recommend your company and feel blessed by your services.
Good selection of tutors and easy search functionality
After having limited luck at the Fremont public high school in California where the teachers themselves recommended external tutors, we needed to find different tutors for my son currently in High School. WYZANT is a very comprehensive and easy to use search engine and platform. Offering great and flexible service for our search. The best part is that tutors do reply rather quickly and payment is easy and through WYZANT so that it is convenience and easy.
Invaluable service, great tutor search
I stumbled on this website in desperation in finding a calculus tutor for my daughter, who is a senior in high school. I loved how easy it was to find a tutor that is so close and that comes to our home for the lessons. The ease of use of WyzAnt is genius and we are so thankful to have found it. Once I found the website, it only took a minute to sign up and within the day I had 4 possible tutors for my daughter. The payment system is great, no money changing hands directly with the tutor and the entire tutor time is not taken up with those kinds of details. After the first lesson, my daughter got a 92 on her next test! She was thrilled! I was able to find an extremely qualified instructor from our area, a retired math teacher, no less, and my daughter loves that the lessons are done in our home. WyzAnt provides an invaluable service one that I can't recommend enough and I do recommend it to anyone who is searching for a tutor.
Great resource to find tutors
I absolutely love this service and website you have put together. I had no idea how to go about searching for a tutor and found this site via a search engine. It has been such a pleasant, easy process. The tutor I have is VERY good. She is really helping my daughter with Pre-Algebra and bringing up her grade. My daughter finds the tutor's explanations easier to understand then her own Math teacher; she is starting to feel more confident in herself and her ability to do Math. The tutor is always on time, very accommodating when my schedule changes and is very professional. I am truly blessed to have found this tutor. The Payment Method via the website is so convenient and easy. It is also a great way to keep track of past tutoring sessions. I can't really think of any improvement ideas as I am so happy with the whole entire process. I would definitely recommend this to any of my friends or family seeking tutoring help. My son was failing pre-calc and Honors Chemistry and after four weeks of tutoring he has brought his grades up to a C and hopefully a B by the end of the marking period. His tutor also gave him one on one tutoring for the PSAT and they will be working on the SATs which he takes in the Spring. Finally, my son's outlook about the eleventh grade has improved. He has gained a lot of confidence. He really likes his tutor and looks forward to his tutoring sessions. Thanks!
Great Tutor

LOVE this service
I find this service much easier to use than our previous company who took too long to find us a suitable tutor and always billed us incorrectly. We have had such quick responses from tutors we were interested in and have been so pleased with Helen A and Ricardo M. Both are knowledgeable in their subjects, courteous and responsible with timely communication and both seem to genuinely care about my children's success on homework and tests. Excellent and Patient Tutor
I contacted WyzAnt after my son started to have trouble with Algebra 2. Math is not my son's best subject but we both struggled with it together. This school year I decided that I wasn't going to struggle with it anymore. And, Boy! Am I happy that I found the WyzAnt site! My son was making E's on his homework, classwork, and warm up assignments. He is now making A's on each assignment because of the excellent tutor that I found with WyzAnt. Ho J. is very patient, and he listens to me in regard to my expectation for my son with math, but he also listens to my son and treats him respect. He is always on time, and willing to offer help in anyway that he can. I hope we can keep him until my son finish's high school and all through college. My son actually gets math now. The lightbulb is flashing brightly because of the great tutors with WyzAnt.
