Very easy tutor search
I was amazed how quickly I found the WyzAnt site by doing a google search for Algebra tutors in our area. I read a few profiles and contacted my selected tutor. She replied via email within a few hours which was great! I entered my payment info which was very simple and we were able to schedule our first session within a couple of days. The tutor has been coming to our home and is friendly, punctual and a great teacher. I would recommend this valuable resource to my friends without hesitation.

It happened to be the very first site that came up when I typed in Statistics tutor. I reviewed the web page and was impressed with the large amount of tutors and the option of getting more than once response if the tutor didnt respond that you requested. I went with the one I wanted and was more than pleased. First Tutor Experience
I was a little apprehensive going through a site that I have never heard of before and contacting tutors whom I have never met. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to schedule a class. The tutor is very professional, prompt and courteous. I have noticed a difference in my son's understanding of letters and words. I am very pleased with his tutor. My son is excited about learning more and always looks forward to his next lesson.
Good Company
My son was a sophomore in college struggling with managerial accounting, a core business course. He goes to school in Texas. I live in Colorado. Using the WyzAnt website, I quickly found a WyzAnt tutor who had excellent reviews and the requisite background to believe he knew what he was talking about. The web interface with WyzAnt couldn't have been easier to use. The tutor notified me of what was covered in the tutoring session and how my son was doing. WyzAnt posted billing information to my email immediately. There are no hidden fees. Given the ease of use and quality of the tutoring, the fees are extremely reasonable. This truly was as easy as asking someone next door to help with homework. The tutor reexplained accounting concepts in a way much more understandable than that of the course Professor. It is very likely we will use WyzAnt (and hopefully, our tutor) in the Fall. Highly recommend this service.

Good tutoring experience.
My daughter is using two tutors in the Greenville, NC area. Because of the profiles and pictures, we were able to find tutors that suited her needs and both have been very responsive. Any questions I have emailed to customer support have been quickly answered as well. I get feedback on tutoring sessions and cost after each session. We are having a very positive experience with WyzAnt.

My name is Shameka H. and I am pursuing a degree in Information Technology. I had to take Programming with Algorithms and Logic. It was a tough course! I had never taken a Programming class in my life. First time around, I had to drop the course because I could not catch on quick enough. I searched online for a tutor and came across WyzAnt. Using the website to find a tutor was easy - there were several folks listed which made it simpler to find someone who would be a good match for my son. Arnold was extremely knowledgeable and had an immediate rapport with my son. The short term goal was to improve his score on a math placement test for college. Besides understanding the material required to improve his test score, my son became open to the idea of using a tutor, and realized the benefit of doing so - a concept that had been unacceptable to him in the past. If all the tutors are as good as Arnold, there is no way to go wrong.

WyzAnt is extremely easy to use. A search for Spanish tutors in my area led me straight to Wyzant. I was given a list of tutors, their location and a short bio. My first pic has been a great match. We made contact quickly and easily through this website. I have no complaints and am very pleased with the service provided.

Wyzant was very helpful with locating a great tutor in our area, for our son. Jeanine was a wonderful, experienced tutor that help our son this summer. She was always prepared and very educated in helping him prepare for the second grade. He is more interested in his studies than ever before. She made reading fun whereas before he wasn't interested in reading at all. We are so happy that we contacted Wyzant.

Good Start
Just now starting the service. So far it appears to be a great resource. I am in the process of studying for the PTCE and require a little assistance with pharmacy math and I feel this will be of a great help to me. So far the communication with the tutor has been positive and look forward to future interaction with him to get me pointed in the right direction. I previously held a Pharmacy Technician in another state and it has expired. I have a opportunity to return to Pharmacy but I need to get certified in the state I am now currently residing in. I know this will help me brush up on the math.

Vast Tutor Selection and Response
We were very happy to see the vast number of tutors available through WyzAnt and to be able to read their profiles and reviews was very helpful. After initially choosing one tutor, many other very good alternatives were also suggested. We had our pick of at least 6 highly qualified individuals! We went with our first choice and have been most pleased w/ the results.
WyzAnt is Amazing!
We had some trouble staying on level with homeschooling. My grandchildren needed tutoring in several subjects and we hit the jackpot when we discovered WyzAnt on the Internet. We found a tutor named Ting and she is wonderful. She lives so close to us as well so the travel time is minimal. WyzAnt's website is easy to use for posting reviews, purchasing credit and viewing the lessons the tutor gives each session. It has been a great experience. My tutor is very professional and very efficient. I have learned more in 3 lessons with my tutor than I did in 1 year with other language programs. I would recommend Wyzant to anyone who is trying to learn a new language.
Local Tutor - Payment for Lessons
The tutor that contacted me from Wyzant is wonderful. You can tell that she is very patient and has a love of what she is doing. She is wonderful!!!! After the session my son is very happy that he has accomplished something he wasn't sure about doing. The payment of the lessons is very easy once you are set up it just takes a click of a button which is nice.

Great Tutor Search And Selection
I used WyzAnt for an accounting tutor for my son who lives in Philadelphia. Since I do not live in Philadelphia and never would have had the opportunity to meet the tutor, I selected WyzAnt because I really liked the "money back if you're not satisfied for the first hour" policy. I was impressed with the caliber of the tutors and the quick response that I received when I requested a tutor. My son has had 3 tutoring sessions to date and he feels that the tutor has definitely helped him improve his understanding of the course material. I also like the way WyzAnt has set up the tutoring reports and the feedback features that WyzAnt provides with these reports. Keep up the good work, WyzAnt!
Its been a good experience so far
I started looking online for a tutor. Checked one website before yours but it seemed really complicated to enroll so I exited their site and clicked on yours. Your website made it easy for me to sign up. My daughter is adopted from China and has been in the USA for 11 months. When she came, she couldn't speak any English, had never seen English letters, etc. I enrolled her in kindergarten anyway and I really had to spend every free moment teaching her and going over whatever the assignment was all year long. She is really smart and she ended up finishing kindergarten speaking and reading in English although she was in the lowest reading level. But, this summer she just got tired of me drilling her on her sight words and reading. She wanted me to play barbies with her or help her build something out of legos. Getting a tutor has just really been the right thing to do. She looks forward to the tutor coming and stays on task while she is with her. The best part is that we get to play more! She is doing great and should be caught up in time for first grade! Thanks again!

Very pleased
I do not know whether I was just lucky or whether all your tutors are so great. As soon as I get school schedule together will be trying to work our wyzant tutor Mary c back into our schedule. We have high quality schools in fairfax county. However teacher student ratios are increasing. At the same time as a parent I am not always the best tutor. Using a service like wyzant with a great tutor is a great alternative to private school or homeschooling. I am sure I will come back to wyzant throughout my daughters education.

I have found two wonderful tutors to help my son through WyzAnt. The first tutor helped him with with organization and study skills. The second tutor for high school math and chemistry. Easy to use
It's been really easy to use WyzAnt. My work schedule is a bit erratic and I have a tough time booking weeks and sometimes days ahead. I can contact many tutors to see if anyone is available in the area and this has made it much easier to book time for help.

I wanted to say that WyzAnt helped me to find a great tutor. I sent out a request for a math tutor and I had a few answers to my request and hooked up with the best tutor ever. Her name is Alina B. Without her I would not have gained the courage to continue my education. I will be the first person in my family to graduate from college. Great way to find the Right Tutor
This has been a good experience so far. We where able to find a tutor that fit our daughters needs. I like that we pay through WyzAnt and conduct everything through this one place then there are no miss understandings. Easy tutor search
When my daughter started her summer calculus class, we knew she would need a bit of extra one-on-one help. We decided on a tutor, and I can say that he is great. He is patient, and very knowledgeable. He explains things in a manner in which my daughter understands. We are so glad we found this website that helped us find a tutor for our needs.
Excellent Tutoring Service
We were searching for a tutoring service (for the ACT test) after trying both online and group class sessions that were not very helpful at all. At Wyzant we were contacted by a number of very qualified tutors and have been working with a fabulous tutor for several weeks. For the first time, our daughter is building her confidence, grasping the science and math materials, and learning test-taking strategies. We are extremely happy with WyzAnt and plan to use WyzAnt in the fall if our daughter needs tutoring help for AP Calculus. This is by far the best test prep experience we have had (and we have had many!). Our tutor is simply fantastic. She is extremely well prepared and understands very well all aspects of test preparation. She responds promptly to all communication, and has offered superb guidance. Her lessons are well paced and her tutoring skills are superb. We are so grateful to have found her through WyzAnt.

I found Wyzant online. I was very pleased to see all of the tutor options available! The website is user friendly, and the tutors respond promptly! I also loved that some of the tutors already have background checks and if they don't you can pay to have one! No pressure to use either, I love that no one calls you to push the "sale"! Easy and reliable
It was my first time using a tutor service. My son needed help with calculus. I was leery at first of the quality of tutors I would encounter and ease of finding one. This service was amazing. In a matter of one day, I input my criteria, was provided many, many tutors and their profiles and selected one and scheduled the first session. The whole process was so easy. It was great to see others reviews which were spot on. I was surprised to also find a tutor within a mile of my house that could come to our home and was available to meet our schedule. Definitely recommend this service.

Our experience so far has been good. There were just too many educators for tutoring to choose from. We got lucky and found an educator in the town we live in so that made the experience even better. We have one week under our belt and about six more to go. I am confident that we will get the extra help needed for our son before school begins again.

I didn't know what to expect when joining WyzAnt, however, I must say that my experience thus far has exceeded my expectations. My tutor is very knowledgeable but also flexible. She tracks my progress from week to week with certain goals but she understands when I am feeling overwhelmed and adjusts her expectations accordingly.
