Glad I found Wyzant!
I just did an internet search for tutors and stumbled onto WyzAnt. I was able to quickly see what tutors were available in my town and for which subjects along with their hourly rates. I found a tutor who was a good fit for my son and his needs and location. She did a great job and we will use WyzAnt and this tutor again I am sure. Would definitely recommend WyzAnt to fellow parents.

First Session- Great!!
My daughter's first session was amazing. Areas that she was struggling with upon my tutors arrival, she understood after the first session. If we keep this up, she will improve two letter grades. Love it!!

WyzAnt is a dream come true for students in need of a great tutor - in any subject! I was told about WyzAnt by a fellow classmate and searched on their website in order to locate a Statistics tutor. Boy, was I ever lost and confused in that subject! Searching for the perfect tutor was so simple that I am thrilled with the utilization of WyzAnt and will definitely be "knocking on their door" in the near future. As a matter of fact, I bought another discounted package so that my tutor will be able to make certain that I receive a very good grade in Statistics. The prices are unbelievably inexpensive and worth every penny. Thank you, WyzAnt, for being there for me at an impossible time in my graduate school studies!!

So far my experience with WyzAnt has been positive. I was successful in finding a tutor and setting up the first session was easy. I was delighted to learn that it was possible to set up lessons (via Skype) since we leave in different states. WyzAnt is a very convenient service.

So Far, So Good
I used your service to locate and hire a tutor for my son where we vacation each summer. My favorite part of WyzAnt is the ability to pre-purchase a package, and have the session amount simply deducted from my credit. (I do hope that our tutor is compensated in a timely manner.) I, and my son, have been so impressed with our tutor! He understands our objectives and works with my son toward those goals. He makes the sessions interesting, fun, and the time flies by. He makes my son want to learn more. (We have at least 6 more weeks to go of this "Summer Enrichment Experience".) Our tutor is very organized and a great communicator, not only of what was learned in a session, but what the homework is and what comes next.
Painless and Productive
I wanted to secure a tutor for SAT prep for my daughter. I evaluated classroom prep and determined it was a better bet to have private, customized tutoring. It was easy to find the right match and my daughter has been extremely happy with how customized the tutoring is and how knowledgeable and helpful her tutor has been on really honing in on key areas as well as providing great guidance about test-taking.

I was unsure of getting a tutor online. The reviews and credentials posted eased my concerns. The tutor was prepared, and was able to identify students strengths/weakness. He was able to teach him strategies to help him with his EOC.
Helpful way to find a great tutor
WyzAnt has been a wonderful experience for us in finding a well qualified and great tutor. The access to the tutor's background, experience and reviews was quite helpful in searching for the best tutor. Customer service was great in answering the questions I had, and the contact between us and the tutors was also a great help and easy way to see which one fit my needs the best. Having the first hour of my first lesson free to see if the tutor was a good fit is another good way to see if the connection is going to work. It has been a great experience, and very helpful in achieving my goal of doing better on my next test. Thank You!
