very easy!
I was looking for a chemistry tutor for my college chemistry class. I searched Google several times and contacted people with personal tutoring websites. I came up empty handed every time. I was about to give up when I came across WyzAnt. I was able to find someone close to home who was willing to take on a college course. I found that tutors on other websites were not willing to help at the level I needed. I was able to contact Sally before I had to pay and fill her in on my situation. She replied very promptly and we were able to set up our first session in less than a week. I have been very happy with her help thus far. She is very patient and was able to quickly see where I struggled. I will continue to use Sally and have passed on the WyzAnt site to other students in my class who are needing help. In the beginning I was a little worried about paying up front for the tutoring time since there are so many scams online. Now that everything is set up and going, I really like paying through the website. I don't have to worry about having cash or remembering my checkbook. I simply pay for a few hours and I'm good to go for a few weeks. Overall, I am impressed with WyzAnt and will continue to use Sally for as long as she can handle me. :)

Easiest way to get tutoring help.
This has been the easiest way to get tutoring help for my kids. I have had two different tutors. One for Algebra 2, Pamela P. and one for Chemistry, Anthony B. Both were really great. It has been very simple. My daughter does not have to worry about paying the tutor or forgetting the money. It has been taken care of with our account. It has worked well for us. I will keep using your program.

My son has been using WyzAnt since last January and I wish I had found out about them sooner! I love how easy it is to find a tutor, read about their backgrounds and make the connection with them. It is so easy to pay for the lessons and I appreciate the discount if you sign up for a package. Annette is my son's tutor and I can't say enough great things about her! First of all, the level of her commitment and concern for his well being is amazing. She has gone above and beyond to rearrange her schedule to meet with him when he has had important tests coming up and always sends great feedback on his lessons. Great Tutor Search
I am a teacher and I often need to find a tutor for enrichment for my students. Finding tutors through your site is a wonderful experience. You have done all of the work, and when we hire a tutor, I feel like I already know them. Also, their education backgrounds are impressive. Payment is so easy and I appreciate the random coupons that you offer that help defray the cost. The charges are usually fair (some are overpriced) but there is enough of a choice that it is easy to find a tutor in our price range. I intend to use your site for all of my students tutoring needs.

Great Tutor Selection
Our ninth grade was struggling with algebra for the second year in a row. Despite having excelled in math myself forty years ago, it was no longer within my ability to give him the help he needed. I googled "Algebra tutors in Los Angeles" and found WyzAnt. I put in our zip code and found several algebra tutors close by. It was that easy. The online profiles were very personable so our son could relate to them. I was contacted immediately by several and picked a recent college graduate in our neighborhood. After her first meeting with our son he said there was no need to interview anyone else: he had found his tutor. She was able to explain things in a way that no one else had. With her help, his second semester grade went from a D to a B+, which also replaced his D from first semester! This was a tremendous boost to his self esteem. This year through WyzAnt we found another college graduate in our neighborhood to tutor him in both geometry and Spanish. Two subjects in one tutor! Since I myself don't speak Spanish, and our son's Spanish teacher only speaks Spanish in class, it has been great to have someone provide the extra assistance he needs.

Helpful site
So far, my experience with this program has been great. I like the way I was able to find the, hopefully, right person to tutor my daughter in reading and writing. I will not know how successful this all has been until I see how my daughter progresses with the tutor and her studies. I really like the method of payment. I can use my credit card and my daughter can just go and meet with the tutor without me having to have her carry money with her to handle the financial obligation. I also feel more safe using my credit card and I get bonus points from my card provider and discounts from you by purchasing more time in advance. Your website is easy to use. I do like looking at the person while reading about them. I feel more connected to the person I choose and, hopefully, my intuition about a person is correct which makes me feel even more comfortable about my choice and the program. I would recommend this site to people "in a heartbeat" !
Wonderful Experience
I have found using WyzAnt to be a wonderful experience. I have recommended your site to my family and friends. My 14 year old was struggling in Honors Geometry. From the first time Joseph came to our house, I knew we had a wonderful tutor. He had a patient way of explaining the things that my son did not understand. My son's average went from a C to a high A! He will also be able to help him with Algebra, Calculus, Chemistry and Physics. I felt helpless with these subjects, so Joseph's help is invaluable. In today's busy world, the convenience of having the tutor come to your house is great. I do not have to bother with checks or cash - Joseph enters the time, the money is charged to my credit card and it's done!
