Easy website for tutor location
So far, my experience has been very good. It is too early in the process to tell much at this time, but the website was helpful in arranging times, contacts and my account.
Great Tutor Search and Selection
I am not a tech savvy person. But, the WyzAnt website was simple for me to use. I liked the variety of tutors from which I was able to choose. Most of the tutors offered their services for a reasonable fee, too.

What a find. Easy website, good selection. Myra A. is teaching this 65-yr-old guy from the ground up and she's doing a great job. Good sense of humor, valuable instruction. Highly recommend this site.

Great resource to find tutoring!
I've used wyzant for three tutoring sessions so far, and it could not be any easier to schedule and find tutors. It's easy to view profiles and learn about a potential tutor, and they don't make you pay to contact, like some dating websites out there. Last inure tutoring is hard to find, but i got it done successfully with wyzant.
Great Experience with Tutor
Found Geometry tutor for my 8th grade student on Wyzant. We have had 3 sessions and "so far, so good." Tutor is on time, professional, and supportive of my child's efforts. Thanks Wyzant!
Our Business Got the Excel Help We Needed
Our business needed some help with Excel, particularly creating several macros/formulas to streamline data entry. Our tutor was able to meet our needs quickly and was a very pleasant person to work with.

This is a very easy website to navigate. The write ups on each tutor made the search very simple to find what you were looking for. The tutor we selected has been punctual, professional, personable and very useful to our 15 year old son. I love the upfront payment and the frequent assessment of the account. Great tutor and a great selection.
So happy to have found just the right tutor for my child. The tutor had a great rapport with my son and made learning enjoyable. I am so glad I found WzyAnt. Good Tutor Selection
I was not sure at first if I would find a the right tutor. There were many options - price wise, location wise and so forth. Now that I have used WyzAnt I will definitely recommend to my friends and family.
Great experience so far
This site has been so easy to find a tutor and we like the payment system. So far our tutor is doing very well with our child which is a huge relief for us. We have gone through a few tutors that just didn't work out.
Awesome Tutor
My experience finding a tutor has been stressful. I stumbled upon this website while searching for a tutor in my area. I was crunched for time as I was into the middle of my semester at school. Due to this website, I was able to find a tutor at such short notice. He has been dedicated and wonderful. I have really learned alot from him. I told him that he should just come to my college and teach the class. Also, I like the security of payment and the surveillance that Wyzant has regarding communication between the two parties. Thanks Wyzant.
Site works very nice
I was extreme impressed with the tutor we have. She did help him bring up his grade a little is the short 4 - 5 weeks she had to work with my grandson. If he needs to take summer school we will be utilizing her resources again from the beginning. The web site works very nice and I had a lot of people to choose from. Thank you.
Very Reliable
The reviews of the tutor I selected for my son were spot on. Our tutor is very systematic and detailed with her coaching and instruction. Excellent Service!
When I realized my daughter needed an Algebra 1 tutor ASAP I didn't know where to start. After searching online for tutors I came across WyzAnt, and I am so happy I found it! It was so easy to find highly qualified tutors near me in exactly the subjects I needed. The responses from tutors I contacted was really fast and I was able to begin sessions right away! Our tutor is great! She even teaches Algebra in a public school and knew exactly how to relate to my daughter. After only 3 weeks of sessions my daughters Algebra grade went from 69% to 89%!!! I couldn't be happier and I tell everyone I know about this service! Thanks WyzAnt!

Easy selection process for tutor -- great match.
It was easy to go through the process of finding a tutor for my daughter and algebra 1a. The tutor is a perfect match for my daughter and has been a tremendous help my daughter understanding the material and giving her confidence in test taking.

The Wyzant app came in very handy when I needed to find a math tutor quickly. We needed to put supports in place and find the right tutor when our daughter needed help with her precalculus class. The website is very straightforward and it is good that you have photographs of the tutors. Once I found this great tutor (Jason A.) through you, I was able to keep contacting him for further help and have kept getting help from the same person.
Great Service and Tutor
I came to Wyzant, desperate for a tutor to help me rewrite part of a final IT-related project. I reached out to a couple of local tutors, but the tutor with whom I worked actually reached out to me, and was not in my geographical area. Wyzant has a whiteboard system where tutors and students can have an online meeting, with or without the video camera. I was skeptical of this service at first, as I have never used a service like this one ever. Turns out, my tutor was reliable, EXTREMELY knowledgeable, and SO patient. We had three sessions, I think? That said, I finished my rewrite, and just found out I received a final overall grade of B, which is higher than I expected before the tutoring. I am very satisfied with my WyzAnt experience. I highly recommend it.

WyzAnt made it easy to find a tutor specialized in the area my daughter needed help. I don't know what I would have done without the website. I don't know any tutors and really needed someone with experience with an ADD child who was behind in Reading. Our tutor was very patient and supportive. My daughter likes getting tutored.

I have had a positive experience in finding a local tutor for my eight year old. I find it very convenient and stress free in having a automatic payment set up. I am happy with our tutor who is very prompt and organized! I don't have any suggestions on improving service because everything so far has been working smoothly!!

Found what I needed
I have found great tutors for English and Latin through Wyzant. We are currently doing online tutoring and it can be a little quirky sometimes, it works well most of the time.

Great tutors, Flexible system, Pricing that doesn't force you into a box
I will come back to Wyzant because they allow me and the tutor decide if we're right for each other; the tutors I worked with were not only subject experts but were genuinely interested in teaching material in an understandable way and persisted in that; pricing varies tutor to tutor, tutors are flexible about where to meet, when to meet, and how many times to meet. The Wyzant system is the best. Thank you
Easy to use
The site is easy to use and find a tutor. I would suggest that students are charged immediately after a lesson loads instead of the 48 hour time frame. I would also like to be able to pay for a session online myself instead of having it come out automatically. Other than that, it is super easy to use and very convenient.
Tutoring made easy!
WyzAnt made it possible for me to be able to find specialized tutors that I would not have had access to without this website. The payment system has been great in that I can use my debit or credit card to pay our tutor. My son has come so far this summer due to the one on one tutoring that he has gotten. I am so thankful that I found this web site and recommend it to all of my friends!
