Easy process and great customer support
Using the website is very easy and convenient. I found a qualified tutor very quickly and she is working out great for my child. Payments can be made easily and the communication tools are excellent. I would recommend Wyzant.
Great Tutor
In my experience with your tutor it has been very good. She has taught my grandson how to do many things that he would never have learned in school. Now that summer is over and he will be back in school we will wait until Christmas to do this again. I want to Thank You very much for being so helpful.
Excellent service and tutoring so far
After 3 meetings with our tutor, I'm very pleased with the WyzAnt experience. We're paying way less than previously for someone who seems more experienced, and much more attuned to the dynamics and process of learning. And she comes to our house! The set up was painless. So far so good.

Awesome selection of tutors.
Very easy to use website, finding a tutor was very simple. I really like that you can view a tutor's profile and be selective on your own terms. Customer service is great and I'm very satisfied with the services. I plan on using them again if I need them and would recommend to anyone needing a tutor.
Quality tutors, User friendly
WyzAnt is an excellent source for locating a qualified tutor in the area. Originally we paid an exorbitant amount of money, and drove 45 minutes, to a tutoring facility on the Main Line. The results of the subject SAT's was no better than our child's first practice round at the facility. We have now turned to WyzAnt for in-home SAT tutoring. Although our child has only received a few sessions, she feels the tutors are providing much more insight on the material presented. Highly recommend.
Apprehensive but pleased!
I have to say that I was apprehensive about using a middle man to find and or pay a tutor. I found a great tutor using Wyzant and scheduled 22 sessions for the fall. The thing I like most is not having to deal with payments. I think that having to worry about payments and the politics of payments really takes away from the learning atmosphere. I also like receiving emails weekly with reviews of my lessons. It helps me keep track of what I'm studying and how I'm progressing.

Easy experience finding a tutor. Customer service was helpful when I had payment problems. Excellent tutor who has been very patient and thoughtful in his preparation for sessions.

I was able to find a native-speaking French tutor for my daughter with no problem. It has worked out great. I would definitely recommend WyzAnt as a way to find a tutor in other subjects as well.
Great customer support
I have used your tutoring website for the first time this past week and I am very impressed with your service. We were desperate for a math tutor and needed someone quickly to help my daughter pass her math finals. Several tutors contacted us right away and we met with our first tutor and it turned out that she was not a good fit for us for a variety of reasons. We were discouraged but went back to emails and found tutor #2 who was a perfect fit for us. I called WyzAnt and spoke to customer support about our first experience and you told me about your good fit guarantee and ended up crediting me back for an hour of the session that was with the tutor who was not a good fit for us, which I really appreciated. Thank you!
WyzAnt very helpful.
Within short notice, I was able to find few tutors for different subjects from WyzAnt. My child was having a hard time understanding few subjects. The WyzAnt tutors really helped. I do not want to say they are the best; but I want to say, they were helpful at a bad time, when my child was struggling. I do recommend WyzAnt tutors.

I didn't know what I was calling when I googled private tutor and then how lucky I got when the place I happened to call was Wyzant! I found a great tutor and this has been a blessing in disguise. The site is a wonderful website and is made very easy to use and much more reasonable then a tutoring school. Great job! Wyzant is wonderful. Found a tutor right away. She responded quickly. She explains math so my son understands it. She is patient and has no problem going over something several times until it clicks. Wyzant has made this an easy and productive way to hire tutors.

Excellent Customer Support
I have received excellent customer service from WyzAnt. I had several tutors responding to my request for services, and I found one that is very good and reasonably priced. I had to pay $35 just to use another company/website, and I didn't get any followup from them at all - it was a waste of money! I appreciate the fact that there is no cost to use your WyzAnt website. I would definitely refer you to friends and family.
Excellent Tutor!
I've been working with my tutor for a couple weeks now to prepare me for the math portion of my GED. I already feel more confident with my mathematics skills. She's very kind and helpful. If I happen to get stumped on something she's always very patient with me and will figure out ways to simplify the problem so I can understand it more clearly. I am glad to have found my tutor through Wyzant. The website helped me locate someone in my area, and in the subject I want to learn. She is close to where I live, and is quite knowledgeable in the subject. I am having a good tutor experience so far.

Amazing tutor and fantastic services!!!
From beginning to end, WyzAnt's services were phenomenal! I was looking for a Mandarin tutor for my teenage son over the summer. I started the process and immediately received emails from very qualified applicants. I was able to ask them questions and gain feedback about their experience, teaching philosophy, recommendations and availability before making my final selection. The service also provided a back ground check for me. We selected Tracy S. She was such an amazing person with a wonderfully positive attitude. My son truly enjoyed and benefited from his sessions with her. She gave me feedback both in person and via email as to what was covered in their appointment and how he was progressing. Tracy even had experience with students with learning disabilities, and this was very helpful to him. The cost of sessions were half of what I had been paying through other agencies. I appreciated the fact that she provided the tutoring at our home, as well. We bought a discounted package of sessions, but had to terminate services earlier than anticipated because my son's schedule changed. WyzAnt was very quick and efficient in refunding me my balance. I have referred both WyzAnt and Tracy to all of my friends, and look forward to using their services again also in the future!!! Well done WyzAnt and Tracy S.
Love the options, payment, and our choice.
I have been very happy with WyzAnt. It was so nice to be able to have a single place to locate a tutor on just about any subject. The payment is great too because I don't have to worry about having money on hand or pull out a check book after each visit. Michael is a really good tutor. I found WyzAnt very easy to use and when I needed customer support, they answered the phone immediately and fixed my issue within 24 hours. They even followed up with an email to let me know it was taken care of! I have been very pleased with WyzAnt and my tutor as well.

Your website is very transparent. I can get the picture and the profile for an instructor and the fee he/she charges. I also can get information about how many hours the tutor has worked with your company. In addition, customers' reviews/comments about the teacher help a lot in making a decision. I can browse the website and take time to compare and contact tutors. Your payment method is also flexible. There's no hidden cost and the package discount is welcome. I tried another website for a music teacher and I don't get the tutor profile and fee range unless I talked to sales and that's something I don't like to do. So far I am very happy with the tutor and haven't got the experience of stopping the tutor service. I hope that will be a good experience too.

I have never used a tutor before but found myself needing one for an online course. Once I found the wyzant website, everything was easy and convenient... I found a tutor with a PhD in the subject matter I was studying and she was within a mile from my house! I couldn't be more happy with my experiences with wyzant!

This is a very useful web site. I needed help with my Algebra, so I found this web site, and I am glad I did. I have a great tutor. He is very helpful and he lives close enough so he can be here within minutes. Your web site is user friendly and very informative.
Great Tutor
My daughter has had three sessions now with her tutor to help her pass a high school biology class that she was failing - last test grade was an 85% - thanks to the different teaching techniques her tutor shared. Very happy with how things are going.

Wonderful Tutor
WyzAnt made it easy for me to choose a tutor that was close to my home and matched my needs. My tutor is a wonderful. Her wealth of knowledge on chemistry is absolutely beneficial to me, since I have none! She is kind and resourceful when explaining principles and formulas too. Payment is easy! I expected to hand my tutor a check on the first session, but I realized that I can add credit to my account! I never have to think of handing a check over, it's really convenient.

I thought that the WyzAnt folks did a great job of staying in touch with me. They monitored my contacts with prospective tutors and followed up with them if the tutors did not respond to my inquiries within the specified time. I received a telephone call after my first session with my tutor to see if I had any questions or concerns. After each lesson, I received a summary of what we had covered in the lesson and a request for me to give the lesson a rating. I did have one concern with one of the tutors, which may have been miscommunication between me and the tutor, but WyzAnt resolved the situation quickly when I brought it to their attention. At the end of my tutoring, I had a balance remaining on my account, and they arranged for a refund without delay. I would not hesitate to recommend WyzAnt's service.
