Fortunate to have found Jen
After just briefly searching the internet for a tutor I stumbled upon WyzAnt and found Jen. The whole process has been so simple and has exceeded my expectations. I purchased a package and after each session, money is just pulled form my account so I don't have to worry about payment after each session. I also like that Jen writes a short paragraph about what she covered in the session as I often don't get details from my daughter. She has been eager to help and has been very flexible in terms of her availability. She explains not only the "how" but also the "why" which is very important to my daughter's learning style.
Easy Search and Selection
What a great way to find a tutor and get started quickly! The site is easy to use and has plenty of information about the prospective tutors. There are multiple tools on the site that can be used to find and evaluate which tutors would best meet your needs. There is a wide selection of subject areas that are available for selection if you need a tutor for one subject or multiple subjects. The cost is known upfront once you select the tutor and the payment process is easy and secure and can be accessed prior to any lesson. I've been asking around for tutors at the school and other parents, with no success . . . this tool is terrific! The customer support is also terrific and response was very quick and helpful.
tuitor search
finding a tuitor through wyzant has been very easy. to be able to comunicate and make payments through your system makes is all the better. the tuitor i found has been great and my son likes her and her style of teaching. being able to have a one on one session has been good for him and her shows his work to his teachers at school. I have no problem in refering wyzant to others l;ooking for additional help. also is is goog that the tuitors list there fees when looking as possible assistance so that you know up frount what the tuitors fee is.
Great Service
A week ago I thought I'd have trouble hiring a good tutor for my son. Luckily, I found WyzAnt on the web and the same day was able to line up a great tutor. The first lesson was yesterday, and we're very pleased with the quality of instruction. Our son even seemed to enjoy it!

The website is user friendly and the service to date has been excellent. WyzAnt is a great tool for parents to find great tutors. I had reviewed the site many times and decided to use the service when my son was not doing so well in Algebra. I love the fact that I can email the tutor BEFORE deciding to use the service. We were able to work out a schedule and communicate before I paid for services. Thanks, WyzAnt!!! My tutor is very knowledgeable and the most important thing is that my son is comfortable and loves her patience!

WyzAnt is a great resource. I am glad I found WyzAnt. One can find the right person to learn what is needed in a subject at one's convenience; I have no time to go to a class regularly to learn what I need. Great Idea!
Great Tutor
Wow what an easy process, and such great tutors. We have just started our Tutoring sessions, and our Tutor Megan is a gem. She has a vast knowledge of the subject, and a wonderful way of explaining science to our daughter. We are very pleased.
