Great tutor search
I would recommend WyzAnt to any parents looking for help for their child. I was searching for a tutoring service and came across WyzAnt, and found a very good tutor named Mr. James B. He has helped my child understand math, a subject that he was failing and he now gets! Thank you!
EXCELLENT TUTOR
I am 100% satisfied with my tutoring experience. My tutor Dee (Darnel F.) was simply amazing as far as her knowledge of Excel. The problem I presented I would consider very advanced and she was able to solve it quickly. She was very responsive to my questions at various times. I know the knowledge she shared with me would have taken a long time to acquire if I had to go to classes or read books to find it. So I am grateful and intend to keep contacting her. I know she is helping my Excel skills to go to another level. This lady is a rare find! Dale W

I am so appreciative for this site. Shortly after beginning my search for a chemistry tutor for my daughter, I had at least six interested tutors from my area. My daughter and I decided to work with Gerardo Y. He is a wonderful, patient, and knowledgeable tutor who has made my daughter want to go to chemistry class and tackle the quizzes and test that she is given. I am both a tutor and a student through WyzAnt and I am increasingly happy with the service in many ways. Not only does it have an easy interface, but the customer service is personal, attentive, and fast. I look forward to experiencing more of the WyzAnt community as I continue to tutor students who have access to a wide array of subject area help. I also look forward to working more closely with the excellent tutors that I have found as a student! I would recommend WyzAnt and do so whenever possible.
All in all the session was a good lesson.
The tutor is very responsive to the needs of our son. We find him very attentive and willing to work hard to keep our son motivated. He is willing to not only talk to his dad, but the mom as well.
Great Tutor Search
I loved how I was able to find multiple tutors with just one click. All the tutors I found were in the field that I needed the help. Payments were really easy. I know that people don't like giving out their information online, but WyzAnt won't charge you until they get the okay from the tutor and they only charge the amount the tutor spends with the student.

A Wonderful Company and Tutor with Much Expertise
I'm so happy that I found Wyzant. For sometime now, I had been stressed in knowing that my son struggled in math. As a parent, it's hard to see your child struggle and I felt that all of my resources had failed, until I began searching the web for tutors in my area. I appreciated the fact that I could perhaps get an overall picture of each tutor's expertise in all areas in which helped me to decide who was best for my child. I can say today that Thanks to WyzAnt, my son feels more confident in knowing that he has someone that he can trust and can now walk into his math class with his head held high in knowing that he can now achieve in the one class that just a few weeks ago he felt was impossible. Motivating Tutor
I started looking for a tutor for my son, who recently started the sixth grade. It is a big transition for a child, since he is now responsible for multiple classes, keeping a planner, and the change in intensity and what is expected of him as a student. I found his tutor on WyzAnt.com, which offers a wide variety of tutors. This allowed me innumerable choices and I was able to take my time and find a tutor that, so far, seems a perfect fit. His tutor exhibits the qualities that I feel are necessary to help my son be successful in school. The payment set-up is convenient and easy, and I am receiving updates after each lesson.
Web tutoring
I am a single working mother with an amazing son who has been struggling in math for a few years now. We were not getting anywhere working together, or with his very busy math teacher. He is in Algebra this year and in high school next year. I did not want to go through another year with this math issue. I thought I will never be able to afford a math tutor! Then I found WyzAnt on line and e-mailed a tutor I could afford! I set up an account in your secure website and e-mailed the tutor I had in mind. In the same day not only did she e-mail me back but so did a few others! I was SO pleased! She has worked out wonderfully! Thanks so much WyzAnt!
Provided a great and useful service
When we began looking for a Spanish tutor for my son I thought it was going to be a long drawn out process. One of the first sites I stumbled upon was WyzAnt and I am so glad. The process was so simple. I searched through their tutor database, emailed potential tutors that were in my area. I received responses almost immediately. The tutor that I had initially emailed responded, as did eight others that I didn't even take time out to email. The same day that I joined on WyzAnt I found my tutor and a couple days later my son had his first tutoring session. Everything about our experience has been positive. We found an excellent tutor, and my son's grade has already began to improve. I feel comfortable, because I know that WyzAnt runs back ground checks, so I am confident that I have chose a competent tutor and someone I feel safe having around my son without my constant supervision. When I placed my ad for a tutor I received many responses, so I had plenty of people to chose from. The tutor I chose was flexible on times and location. We are three sessions in and each time she has been prompt and when the hour is up, she always makes sure that my son fully understands everything that she has explained and makes sure that he does not have any more questions. She takes her time and is very patient.
