Good Tutor Resource
Good resource to locate a tutor for whatever you need. I was grateful to find a source that pooled the information and potential tutors in a single place. Made our search easier and found someone relatively quickly to suit our needs.
Easy to find tutors in my area.
Easy to read about each tutor to find the one to fit my needs. Found several tutors within a 10 mile radius of my home. Read about each tutor. Then sent an email to one and within 24 hours had a response and set up the first session. Web site is very easy to use and easy to deposit funds.
Great Service
My daughter was struggling in Math and I found the WyzAnt online. I signed up and had a very qualified tutor at my house within hours. We now have the tutor on a regular schedule and grades are improving exponentially. I grow two additional arms to give this service 4 thumbs up.

Excellent Source for Tutors
I stumbled upon WyzAnt by accident while searching on Google for a private in home tutor. Their website made it extremely easy for me to search for tutors in my area that met the criteria I was looking for. I was able to easily make an initial inquiry with two separate tutors that I thought would be a good fit. With each inquiry there was an optional check box allowing WyzAnt to refer the inquiry to additional tutors that also met the same criteria (which I opted for). Within 12 hours from my initial inquiry, both of my selected tutors responded to me, and within 24 hours I had 3 additional tutors reply as well. Of the 5 tutor responses I received, 2 of them were able to accomodate the schedule I needed. After meeting them both (which took less than a week), I decided on one of them and was able to start sessions immediately! So far, I am extremely satisfied with the tutors services, and I still cant believe just how easy WyzAnt made the entire process. I highly recommend their services to anyone seeking a private tutor.

Good Tutor Search and Selection
My Search for a Tutor far exceeded my expectations. I was searching for a Tutor in another city; not where I live. After carefully reviewing Wyzant's Registry of available qualified Tutors; communication was initiated with a prospective Tutor and the process was underway. Although my contact with Customer Service has been limited, it has been favorable.

I am very happy with the WyzAnt site experience. I was able to find an awesome tutor who has been a delight to work with (both over the phone and in person). She has been very flexible and made every effort to accommodate my schedule. I am so glad I found the WyzAnt site and only wish I had thought of it sooner!

I am currently applying for an MBA program and need to take the GMAT. After taking a pretest, I realized that my math skills are very poor. Decided to seek help. I looked at several GMAT test prep courses but the cost was outrageous and most courses were on demand. I wanted one-on-one help and I wanted the focus to be on math. I found Wyzant and am glad I did. The site is easy to use and there are a ton of skilled tutors. The nice part was that I was able to contact a few before I found the right fit and it didn't cost me a thing until I decided on the tutor I wanted. There's no hidden fees, you simply get charged for the tutoring session after the fact. When searching for a tutor, the profile includes their hourly rate so there's no surprises. I was skeptical at first but now that I have been doing this for a few weeks, would highly recommend Wyzant anyone searching for a tutor.

Great Spanish Tutor Found
My needs are fairly unique. I want to learn conversational Spanish. I took 4 years in high school back in the 70's. I learn pretty well on my own with books and tapes, but I really need to practice conversation. WyzAnt found me a charming local tutor. We discuss weather, family, travels, current events. It has really beefed up my Spanish and it's a lot of fun.

Very helpful tutor search service and follow up
Wyzant helped me find a very nearby tutor for my daughter's French lesson with excellent reviews and now with whom we are having an excellent experience! Wyzant also makes paying for tutorial teaching sessions so simple and quick, there is no need to have to remember to send monthly checks or anything like that...very convenient indeed.

I found the right tutor who was very knowledgeable, supportive, and patient in explaining concepts in statistics.
Very pleased
I have used other companies for tutoring and so far WyzAnt is my favorite. One other company charges a flat $50/hr and sometimes the tutors are so-so but so far I haven't had that experience with WyzAnt. The only negative I have is that the tutors count every minute. If the session is 65 minutes, they charge that extra 5 minutes whereas the other sites would have rounded that off to 1 hour only.
Easy Steps To Get Tutor For Granddaughter
We realized that we could help make a lasting impression on our granddaughter who was having troubles with schoolwork. We just didn't know exactly how. The idea of a tutor was explored online and through WyzAnt we were able to check the credentials of tutors in our local area. One perfect choice emerged. His years of experience, his breadth of Knowledge and skill set, and his warm smile and manner made him our choice and our granddaughter just thought he is "cool". Your website was easy to use and had all the information to make an educated tutor selection for our son. We love the automated e-mails detailing the appointments that we can keep for our records. Wonderful experience!!
Our experience has been really good. We had several tutors respond to our initial e-mail request. We made a decision on a tutor within a week or so. The tutor seems to be a good personality fit for our son. He's very patient and he explains the information to my son in a way that he understands. The process for signing up and selecting a tutor was great!!! I'm just glad we found WyzAnt.

So far this has been a wonderful resource for my family. My son is getting the assistance he needs for the moment. From the registration process to booking tutorial dates, it has been a pretty painless process. Love the constant updates on background clearances of the tutors. Finding the right tutor for my son was fast! 5 different tutors responded quick! I needed one that would help him in a 2 week span. Now my son has grasp the section he was having a hard time before going back to school. Thank goodness for Debbie's patience and tools for him to understand.
