Great Tutor Search and Selection
I used Wyzant to find a high school science tutor for my daughter. The process was very easy. I entered my requirements and was quickly contacted by several qualified tutors. I was able to communicate with them via e-mail to determined whether their schedules and qualifications would be a good fit. I ended up hiring Dean C and he has been working with my daughter for a few weeks. He is excellent. He knows the science material well and works very effectively with my daughter. She likes him too, which has not always been the case with other tutors we have had. I also appreciate the fact that I can handle payment for Dean's services online and do not have to worry about paying him directly. I like your discount packages too. You have a fantastic service! Thank you!!!!

Very Helpful to find tutors that fit your needs
This site was really helpful to find tutors that fit our specific needs. It helps that tutors are accountable and have to write notes on their sessions. Very nice service. The background check also helps a lot getting a comfortable feeling.

Michael has been working with my Granddaughter and we are all very pleased with his tutoring and WyzAnt has been very easy to deal with. I find everyone that I have spoken with to be very helpful. I'm glad I found WyzAnt and Michael.
Positive WyzAnt Experience
I have had a positive experience using WyzAnt. I received prompt responses from possible tutors, and the profiles were helpful in my selection. My daughter was really struggling, and we were able to set up her first lesson quickly. The payment method also makes things easier not having to deal with that at the time of her lesson.
Very satisfied with entire process
I needed a tutor for my 8th grade son and haven't been impressed with what I've seen about the store-front tutoring agencies. I did an internet search for tutors in my area and found the perfect solution through WyzAnt. I requested more information from the tutor we were interested in, Jay McTaggart, through the WyzAnt website on a Sunday afternoon. The gentleman called me early Monday morning, we met with him Monday night and he started tutoring on Thursday - my son's choice of day and time, although Jay would have happily done it anytime including BEFORE SCHOOL if my son wanted him to. At the end of each lesson we get an e-mail from the tutor with a recap and assessment and an e-mail from WyzAnt with a summary of the lesson as well as an opportunity to rate the lesson. Our tutor submits the time and we get an email letting us know that we will be charged for the contracted rate. It's only been 3 weeks but my son has shown improvement already and we have had no problems with the any aspect of the process. I would recommend this service to anyone looking for a tutor.
WyzAnt- user friendly WyzAnt tutor- reliable and helpful
I had to study for a test using a data analysis program I have no experience using, STATA, my tutor came over to my apartment building office center with the program on his lap top to help me study. After a few study session- I actually passed the test. Very thankful I had a tutor and was able to pass my test! Thanks WyzAnt!
Excellent Tutor Find
We are very happy with WyzAnt's service. The tutor we selected is doing a wonderful job, and we are very pleased with the online follow-up after each tutoring session. The selection process worked very well for us. We were able to view the person's profile, email them, and also meet with them for an in-person interview. I felt very confident we had selected the right person and absolutely no pressure to select a specific person, and no bothersome phone calls from WyzAnt. Thank you!
Greatly impressed with tutor and process!!!
I was nervous (and embarrassed) about finding a tutor who would fit my "simple" refresher needs, but the brief biographies on the home pages were very helpful, and I found just what I needed! The process has been easy to understand,and I have appreciated the quick updates as far a lessons and payments due. I also appreciate promptness, so the immediate feedback gives me even more faith in the process and WyzAnt. My tutor has made all of the difference! She has been outstanding at meeting my needs. I hope that others have found the same success! She NEVER rushes and just assumes that I have understood the process, but evaluates and is more that willing to further explain and let me practice many times until I feel comfortable! I'm so glad I decided to go through WyzAnt for my tutor!
