Great tutor search and selecion
I am very pleased with WyzAnt. I have been trying to find a tutor for a while and had no clue how to go about it since this is the first time my kids ever needed help that I could not offer. Finding WyzAnt was such a relief. It took all the hardship out of the search. Everything has been taken cared of at the click of the mouse, background check, finances ( no direct transactions with the teacher this is the best part), locations...etc. When I posted my request within 24 hours I started to get offers I had great offers and the one I picked ( Mr. Richard L.) turned out to be a God sent. He is so knowledgeable, so patient, and so positive that my children are much more confident. They enjoy learning with him. After just 2 sessions my son came back from school smiling from ear to ear telling me, he got a "Merit" in class for solving an algebra question that none of his classmates were able to solve! This is very big for him. I wish I had found WyzAnt earlier, it would have saved my kids and I so much unnecessary stress trying to figure out how to improve their Algebra grades. I will Highly recommend WyzAnt to anyone out there in need of some serious help with tutoring .
Very Helpful
I was looking for a coding tutor for my son closer to my home since the only one I knew of was 2 hrs away. WyzAnt help me find someone who would come to my house saving me a 4 hour round trip. Plus, he was half the cost and twice as good. The search function is great and I will use it again to find an Accounting tutor for my daughter. I am grateful this service exists. I also like the auto pay set up so I don't have to deal with paying in person at each visit.
Exceptional Tutor
Our homeschooled teen-aged son was struggling with math. He started working with Tammy 2 ½ months ago, and thanks to her genuine love of math and her skills at finding ways to explain things, he has made dramatic progress. He looks forward to doing the homework and to his sessions with her. Organized and professional, Tammy uses creative methods to make the subjects interesting and the concepts memorable. Both in-person and online sessions have been successful. A great tutoring experience.
Easiest way to find a tutor.
I found your website so easy to use, and had many tutors to choose from for each of my daughter's subjects. I received responses quickly from the tutors I emailed and I would recommend WyzAnt's to anyone looking for a tutor.
The Tutor Search was extremely easy, fast and lessons started quickly.
We have had the Tutor for three visits and so far She had done a very good job. She is down to earth, experienced and knowledegable on the topic. She listens to the student and works on making the student do the work and not just giving them the answers.
Money Well Spent!
We couldn't be happier with the Chemistry tutor that we found for our son on WyzAnt. She genuinely seems to enjoy her subject matter and the students that she works with, which in turn, has lead to a positive experience for our son. At first, he complained about having to work with a tutor. Now he plans ahead and has stuff ready to review with her. All-around great experience!

Very easy to use search options
This was so easy. Plenty of choices based on need, location etc. Our tutor has really made such a difference already in our son's comprehension of trigonometry. Something I could never help him with! I would definitely use Wyzant in the future.
WyzAnt is a life saver.
I didn't even know WyzAnt existed until a friend of mine heard me saying I needed a tutor for my girls. She told me about WyzAnt and she was saying she got a tutor from WyzAnt and how her tutor has helped her daughter, so once I logged on and started seeing what the site had to offer I was amazed. At first when I pleaded for help it was kind of rocky because no one could fit the schedule or the person that knew the math for my children lived in other areas. Once I sent out a second plea for help, we found the best tutor and she has been amazing and she is very flexible and local. I just want to say thank you WyzAnt and will be utilizing the site once my child goes on to college.
Great tutor, amazing progress!
My little guy fell behind the birthday deadline for Kindergarten but since I am homeschooling I thought I would get a head start. The only thing was that he was struggling with phonics and reading, and because of his desire to please me and not disappoint me, he was getting too anxious during those lessons and giving up before he made progress. I sought out the tutor as an unbiased and not emotionally attached partner to help him build confidence without feeling like he needed to please anyone. And since I am not in the room, when he makes mistakes he doesn't feel like he's disappointing me. I am so proud to hear his progress after each session, and because he is building confidence is his skills he is more willing to do short home sessions in between to help him retain the lessons and he is doing very well with those lessons too! His fear of disappointing me when he makes mistakes isn't so present when we do work at home, and encouraging him even when he does mess up makes him feel better about trying again. I couldn't do it without Michelle, his tutor, and her experience and understanding. She has even taught me a few things that weren't taught when I learned phonics (or I don't recall them, but they are useful!). So far my experience with WyzAnt is wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you!

Great resource! I used WyZAnt to find a SAT prep tutor for my son. She was excellent. Very flexible and able to create a quick rapport with a hesitant teenager!
WyzAnt is Easy and Effective
I was able to find a Chemistry tutor for my son on the first try. The tutor is easy to work with and schedule. My son actually is beginning to understand Chemistry now. I would definitely recommend WyzAnt to others and I already have!

WyzAnt is a blessing to us, so wish I had known about it sooner. Our tutor Kemaray F. is amazing, we sincerely love him. WyzAnt, keep doing what you are doing. When I have had to call, customer service is outstanding. The website is unique, navigation and maneuvering around is easy and understanding. I like that the tutor can put lesson notes on the site, and we can review and rate our tutor. This resource and tool is magnificent, and I have shared the site with my son's teacher in bragging and boasting about WyzAnt. WyzAnt please don't go away. I am looking to stay with you through college, and my son's grade in math has gone up, and he now has confident whereas he didn't have it before WyzAnt.

Great tutor search
I needed to find a math tutor to my daughter. Wyzant gave me many choices to select and we wound up with a really fabulous tutor. My daughter really likes her and she explains things to her one on one. I highly recommend this website and the tutors that are on it.

This site offered any easy way to review a number of tutoring options and find a good fit for my son. Very easy to schedule lessons, and tutor using site functions to send receipts, reminders, feedback, etc on tutoring matters. Great for parents and student.
Great Tutor Search and Selection
I was in a crunch and needed to find a tutor for Statistics. WyzAnt made my search so easy. I was able to review the profiles of numerous tutors, sent a handful of e-mails and then waited to hear back from my selected tutors. From there I was able to chat on the phone and determine if we would connect and then I scheduled a lesson. Vince was more than I could have hoped for. He not only helped me gain a better understanding of Statistics, he was able to explain the fundamentals in a way that I could relate to and made it easy for me to retain the information. I've already been referring WyzAnt to all of my classmates and co-workers. The money spent on my sessions with Vince was money well spent and worth every penny.
Great tutor search
I was able to find a good tutors for my son. When a tutor comes for a first time, it takes a little time to go over the need, and short introduction. I think the tutors should charge more accurately, especially when they come for the very first time. It's convenient to have local tutors who can come with a short notice. The experience is positive so far. Thank you!
