Great Tutor Search and huge selection.
I was looking for a Tutor to help me to improve my English as a second language. I made a search on the internet and then I found the WyzAnt. It was amazing for me when I saw a huge selection of Tutors. You can see that the Tutores are well experienced. Also it's easy to deal with WyzAnt because you do not have to pay your Tutor directly. Thus I found a very good Tutor and I'm very happy with her. Thanks to you WyzAnt!
Great Tutor Resource for Foreign Language Instruction
I'm an adult who wanted some refreshing of French conversational abilities. I had not heard of WyzAnt before, and only found it accidentally while searching for a tutor in my area. What a great resource! I loved how easy it was to look at a number of tutors, be able to communicate with each one in order to learn more about their style of teaching, what kinds of students they accept, etc. And the form of payment is great, too. All in all, WyzAnt really simplified the process.

I really like this service, it's very easy to navigate. I like the follow-up emails that confirm payments and if service was actually provided.
Convenient and helpful

Never knew it existed!
I never realized WyzAnt existed. My daughter had reached a point where she had a flunking grade in her Algebra II class. While math has never been, or will ever be, 'her' subject, she has still managed to pull a mid- to high B throughout her high-school years. But 4 weeks before the end of this school year, she found herself with an F for the class grade. She was beside herself but didn't know how to change it because she just didn't understand the subject matter, and I certainly didn't know how to help her. I got so lucky when I found Wyzant - it made it so easy to find a tutor (there were actually a number of tutors in my area, which in itself was a surprise to me). I was able to find a wonderful tutor who fit so well with my daughter - intelligent beyond words, and able to support and explain the intricate problems. My daughter feels so much more confident now and since meeting with our tutor, Wendy, has brought her grades up to a high C with a likelihood of a B by the end of the school year - but more importantly, she understands what she's doing. I am really thankful for Wendy, and WyzAnt for pulling tutors together for kids needing the help.
Great way to find a tutor

How did I not find WyzAnt sooner? I love that there are so many well qualified tutors from which to choose. The automatic payment system is great... keeping the transacting of cash from being more of the focus than getting the assistance you need. Seth has been more than we could have hoped for. I now feel as though my daughter has a real shot at passing her exams with flying colors.
Great local tutor search and selection
My nephew was struggling to pass the Language Arts portion of his GED test, but with one quick search we found the perfect local tutor for him. The tutor has been a blessing for our nephew. He is proud of himself and is excited about how quickly he is learning the skills he needs!

GREAT TUTOR SEARCH
Very pleased with the tutor I chose for my grandaughter. They 'clicked' the first time they met. Being that my grandaughter has been diagnosed with dyslexia and ad/hd , the tutor is soft- spoken which helps my granddaughter stay focused. My grandaughter enjoys the time she spends with the tutor during homework. What a great asset to her learning.
Great tutors and customer support
My daughter's tutor is great. I love his personality and he makes learning fun for her. I had to call customer service one time to merge my accounts, they were helpful and friendly. I love WyzAnt they make finding a tutor easy and affordable.
Great tutor!
Zak has made a big difference in our sons learning experience 3 days a week for one hour,one that he clearly was not getting from Patuxant High School even with their after school or in school during & lunch hour tutors. Thinking now these tutors on WyzAnt could have educated my son through high school and saved all the hours in the day where they do nothing for him. Great Website
Found WyzAnt by looking on the web for tutor. I found the website was very easy to find a tutor that I needed for my son. Payments have been easy and I like how they notify you. I was not sure how having a tutor on the web would be but it has been real good and I feel my son has gotten a lot out of it. I couldn't find a local tutor for him since I needed someone to prep him for a state test. I looked at three tutors as instructed. I like the fact if it was not a good fit the first lesson would be free. It was the second tutor that was a great fit and he has lessons on the web. I like the fact I can talk to someone on the phone about my account. I am really grateful for the service you provide.

My son two years in a row has been failing high school math And we have used this service now in two different states to find amazing tutors to literally save the day! MD and CA! They are professional extremely knowledgeable! I can select gender I can look at their background degrees experience etc. Love it!!
What a wonderful way to find a great tutor!
We had looked into online tutors but thought it best that our son needed a "face to face" experience. We picked a tutor that we thought fit our son's subject need and had an email conversation which helped confirm that we made a good choice. We were right! My son had 100% more confidence in calculus BC than he did in the class just from the first tutoring session. We have had 3 sessions so far and my son has had major improvement in his grades on homework and quizzes.
Easy way to find a qualified tutor.
I wanted to learn a few good phrases in French for my travel to Paris in a couple of months, but I didn't know of anyone who could help me. Through WyzAnt I easily found a great tutor close to my home.

So thankful I found the help my son needed!
My son is a senior in high school. As hard as he tried he couldn't pass the reading portion of the fcat. He needs to pass to graduate. I was desperate to get the help he needed. I went on the WyzAnt website. The website is very easy to navigate. I found an angel named Regina. I contacted her and she responded within an hour. I know my son will pass his test with her help. She sends me an update after each meeting. She has improved his confidence level which I know is the key to his success. Thank you Regina!

Outstanding Serivce
The online service "WyzAnt" provides is great; it is at the college level of education. A number of local teachers contacted me, in the first few days, and I simply chose the most convenient one. The payment system is excellent; I have had no problems with it. My meetings have been at the city library and they have been pleasant to attend. The schedule is optimized for both parties and the location presented allows for extra study time. My tutor has provided answers to all of my English and APA questions. I recommend the service and the tutor. WyzAnt really is a professional website.

It's easy to get started and stay engaged
When my daughter was struggling to read I wasn't sure where to find her help. Like many kids she didn't like to get help from my husband or I. I started browsing for tutors online. Quality Local Tutors
I am taking a college level statistics class, and struggling. I had approached my university in search of a tutor without much luck. I turned to the Internet and found WyzAnt. I was able to quickly find a local tutor with considerable real world experience. My tutor has been amazing. She is able to meet me at school in between my classes, and has been able to use a variety of teaching methods to ensure I understand the required material. The cost is comparable to other tutoring options, and worth every penny. This has been a great experience.
An Answer to Our Prayers
On our third child, and having exhausted traditional tutoring systems and methods, both we as parents, and my daughter, were frustrated with what we thought were our only options. One night, I sat down to do a thorough and diligent Google search to try and find something...anything...better. I came across WyzAnt, which I had never heard of before, and it sounded just like what I had been searching for these many years! The quality of instructors to choose from was amazing and once we did choose one, the change in my daughter's demeanor toward chemistry, and learning in general, has been priceless! Paying for lessons couldn't be easier, because I never have to worry about my checkbook. Communication is always directly with the tutor and not through some staffing director of an office. The first session, which is obviously a nervous proposition, is guaranteed to be free if it isn't a good "fit". I only wish I had known about this tremendous service earlier! My older two sons would have benefited greatly and our family would have been spared many headaches! Thank you, WyzAnt! Keep up the great service!
Nice ease of use- very happy with our tutor
I basically did a Google search for a tutor in my area. I was and have been extremely happy with this site. It has helped me to have a tutor for my daughter. The tutors that I reached out to were all quick to respond, and very professional.
Great Tutor Search
Being that we are new to the area, finding WyzAnt helped us with a tutor for our daughter. It can be really frustrating when you are new to an area and in need of locating an agency which provides specialized services in tutoring. However, WyzAnt made it simple and user friendly with how they have a database of tutors who are certified and able to tutor in many different academic levels. Excellent Tutor Search and Selection
WyzAnt is an extremely convenient site for putting students and well-qualified tutors together. I was quickly able to identify a tutor with the skills and experience my daughter needs, sent my inquiry late at night and our tutor had established contact within an hour or so (midnight on a Saturday night). Payment is all taken care of online after each session, so no hassles. We are very happy to have found Ms. Allison, as she and my daughter made an immediate connection. My daughter looks forward to each weekly session, and we are going to increase to twice weekly as soon as possible. The app has lots of self-study materials, as well. This app really works in real time.

Great tutor search and selection
This was by far the easiest resource I've used to search for a reputable, qualified and tutor for my son. I love that there is no fee to join and the payment process is seamless. I highly recommend this to anyone in search of a tutor. I just wish a site like this for my other needs (i.e. babysitter, music instructor).

I was referred to this service by other parents from my daughter's high school. I was able to review numerous profiles and find a tutor who really matched our needs. Each profile has so much information and is able to provide you with a real feel of the tutor. Also, every tutor on the site is more than qualified with their education/professional background. Our tutor has been a huge help to my daughter. She really makes the subject click for her. Also, we were able to have our first session within 2 days of joining which was great. WyzAnt is a great way to find a tutor for any subject or price range.
Good process for finding tutors.
Wyzani's concept seems to be working very well for me. Looking for an Italian tutor I had responses from 6 people, and found one close to my home. It is working very well. Rates are reasonable.

Found a Great Tutor
Very easy to find a tutor, set up sessions and send pay for the technologically challenged, i.e., me! Found a great tutor who gives feedback and analysis on my daughter's math deficiencies. Now I can work on those deficiencies in order to bring her up to speed. Calm, encouraging man. Best part: My daughter likes him! Very happy with this service.
Wyzant is a great site for tutors.
When my kids told me they needed a tutor for their ACT test, I was struggling with where to find a suitable person. I asked around but no one was able to recommend somebody. I then went online and found Wyzant. I researched it a little and found it to be very reputable. They said their tutor has to pass a test before they are placed on the site and I thought that was very good. Jose has been tutoring my kids three weeks and they and myself are very happy with him. My kids said he's very patient and showing them strategies to get a good score on their ACT test.
The perfect Coach
I was able to search and find the perfect coach for my daughter. I refer to her as a coach because my daughter is in college and feels like using the word tutor would make her feel like a child. So, I have been very pleased with the coaching my daughter is receiving. She has some learning challenges and just needs a coach to monitor and support her academic process. Her coach provides her with supportive suggestions on how to manage her assignments and reinforces what is required for her to complete her assignment. Her coach also provides her with suggestions on how to strengthen her study skills and other ways to tackle her weakness. My daughter and I are very please with our coach.

Within one week we found several well qualified tutors that were compatible with my daughter. One tutor even came to my home. We used Skype for another session. The tutors are also willing to provide thorough written explanation of problems by email or text in addition to face to face tutor time. Very useful as a study guide. In one week it has made a difference. If feels like we now have a team of qualified tutors to assist with my daughter's academic success.
