Great tutors and website.
This web site allowed us to find a VERY good tutor for our daughter in less than 4 hours, schedule a session for the next day, and avert a failure in algebra. Highly recommended!
Excellent and Easy
I easily found a wonderful Latin tutor for my son. I noted the great credentials and glowing reviews so I gave the tutor a try--- and she was perfect! Punctual, knowledgeable, always available, focused and very nice. I also love that I don't have to worry about leaving a check or cash at home every time the tutor meets with my son because after each lesson, the cost of the session is automatically charged to my credit card. Love it!
Great service
I'm so glad I discovered WyZant because we found a great tutor and I don't have to worry about payment. It's automatic. What I was really impressed with was the ability to order a background check, the Good-fit policy, and the number of tutors in your system. Thank you for making this easier for parents who have a lot on their plates.

Great tutor search and selection!
Finding a tutor was easy. My daughter's tutor, Dree, has been very helpful. My daughter's geometry grade has already improved. I like the way payment is set up, because you do not have to commit to more time than needed.

Wyzant is an awesome site. I have recommended it, and recommend it for tutoring. I'm very happy with the tutor that I picked out. Wyzant has quite a selection, giving you different options. You get to choose pricing, experience, distance... whatever suits your needs. I would say to chose more than one tutor, only because of the availability of their time, just in case. But in my case, very satisfactory!

Excellent Tutors

Love our Tutor
We got very lucky and found a great match immediately. The search feature really helped us narrow down the types of people we needed to interview for our son's homework needs. The ease of payment is great, I have been really happy with the tutor's rundown of the sessions, all in all, a great experience! Best of all, my son's homework is getting done painlessly and with a richer understanding of the concepts he's learning. Kudos!

The offer of "free first lesson if not satisfied" is a great idea, as it leaves you to find the tutor you want. In my case, we found the perfect tutor first time. The "package deal" of bundling sessions at a discounted price is very satisfying too. (You feel like you are getting a good deal). Hopefully all tutors are like the guy we found - obviously knowledgeable, good/quick understanding of student's needs, good communication and ability to explain difficult concepts in an understandable way.

Quick response from tutor.
I had an immediate need for a tutor and sent a message on a Sunday! I actually got several responses and by Sunday night had a phone conversation and session scheduled! I was desperate to help my child and Wyzant came through!
Great Site
Used WyzAnt based on Angies List referrals. The site is really easy to use and has a great variety of tutors which are introduced with profiles and it is really easy to find a match. The way the site registers tutors and establishes contacts made us feel very safe and positive to find trustworthy help for our son. All tutors we contacted have responded in less than 24 hours and in no time we had found a great match for our son. Billing and paying is very transparent and set up in a safe manner for both parties. Very thoughtful and effective as well as efficient site.
Helpful Customer Support Reps
First couple of tutors did not work out. One did not really have teaching skills and the other did not respond. Customer Service suggested a tutor that was out of the area but would teach using Facetime. This tutor is exactly what my daughter needed. Retired teacher that actually had her Physics book on his library shelf!! She likes him and he has been a great help. So big props to WyzAnt for taking care of this situation.

Easy access, selection, and overall satisfaction
Using WyzAnt is about as easy as sending an email. There is really no guesswork about finding someone capable of meeting your needs as a student because every tutor is qualified and helpful. If it turns out that the person will not be able to meet your needs, there is no real loss because they do not charge for the first meeting. Both tutors that I have used through this site were amiable, flexible, and eager to help. I would recommend this site to anyone who is looking for a tutor in any subject who is serious about getting help. I am very satisfied with my experience and I would not think twice about using this service again if necessary in the future.
Payment plans make it easy
The lessons have been helpful in physics, we are very pleased with the tutoring thus far. The payment plans makes it easier so you don't have to be concerned with paying for each visit.
Great Tutor
I have my tutor as a weekly tutor and she's really helping me out with my classes. WyzAnt has helped me find a tutor that works perfectly within my schedule and has increased my grades a lot. I would recommend any of the tutors they have listed because they are all very educated and nice.

Great Tutor Serarch
We were looking for an English Tutor for my kid in 5th grade. This site really helped us find good tutors, recommendations and how much does it costs upfront (made our lives easy in the decision making process!). I would highly recommend this site, for the insight they give on Tutors, the time spent in follow up and making sure both the Tutor and kid is happy. Last but not least, the simplified payment process.
An Amazin Way To Learn
I don't know how I stumbled on finding WyzAnt searching around in Google, but Pamela has made me feel so lucky that I did. In three sessions she has me using tools for photography that I had no idea how to use and taking pictures I did not know I had in me. WyzAnt is WONDERFUL. It is a positive, personal and one on one way to learn and gets you moving forward by leaps and bounds. It's great, great, great.... Thank you!

Super Helpful!
The WyzAnt system is super helpful! We found a great tutor for our ninth grader for two of her honors level courses. And, the payment process, via PayPal is so convenient. It saves a lot of time for the family in not having to keep up with writing checks to the tutor for each session. I recommend WyzAnt highly.
Great
It was easy to go on the WyzAnt website and locate a tutor for a specific knowledge. The great thing is that you get to pick a tutor with a specific hourly rate and just because some of the rates may be higher does not mean that any of the lower rate individuals are not knowledgeable. Because I saw GREAT improvement with my daughter and her tutor (Hassan) was GREAT and really helped her understand the subject (Chemistry). I will be visiting the website again, hopefully we can keep the same tutor.

You Can't Go Wrong With WyzAnt
WyzAnt is a very useful tool for finding tutors in your local area. The tutors are great to work with, have had criminal background checks and testing to make sure they are up to speed. They also have brief profiles for each tutor to help you in your selection. I can only say good things about this site and the way it is operated. It's easy to use and easily accessible. Tutors report back to you after every tutoring session. My granddaughter is doing very well with her WyzAnt tutor and I am thankful that I found this site.
Very easy process.
We signed up with Jeanie L. for our tutor and she has been great with my son. My son is very comfortable with her. The website is very easy to use and keeps me up to date on my balance. There were a lot of tutors to choose from. I would definitely recommend this site.
Great experience so far!
We needed to find a quick and effective way to help our daughter improve her reading at school and found Wyzant from an online search. It seemed easy and convenient so we sent a first message to a potential tutor and received first replies within minutes. We quickly identified one person and agreed on a first meeting with our daughter two days later. In the meantime we arranged online payment and details and it all went well and seamlessly and without any complications. It's been two weeks now and our daughter is enjoying her biweekly lessons and we already see improvements in her reading and writing. Michelle proposes fun activities and she is really patient and friendly. We are glad we chose Wyzant and Michelle as a tutor for our first grader.
