Easy process and help was very beneficial
I searched a few websites, before coming across this website. It is nice to be able to see the tutors' experience and their qualifications before selecting one to assist me with my assignments. The tutor showed up promptly and was easy to work with and really knew what she was doing. I am confident that the assistance that I received will boost my grade from a "B" to an "A" that I feel I truly deserve.
Great Tutor
Today was my daughters first time being tutored in math. She has felt she could never do math. In 1 hour with her tutor she was able to change her whole feeling of failure in math and has already experienced success. She was left homework to do and has completed it and is working on an assignment to help her retain what she is learning. We have tried many things to help her learn in the past ... WyzAnt provides a great service! WyzAnt was easy to find a tutor through. We received emails to choose tutors in our area. It was very easy to narrow down the tutors we would be interested in. The whole system worked quickly and smoothly. Payment with pay pal is very easy also. Also...i don't have to run her to get her help...the tutor comes to us!! Could not ask for more!!
Excellent Tutor
We had tried student tutors and math labs as well as friends and family. After having very limited success, we asked around about private in-home tutors. A friend mentioned WyzAnt, and in the first attempt we located 3 local and very qualified tutors. We decided on Jessica because of her qualifications and testimonials. She has been a life-saver! She zeroed in on where my daughter was having difficulties and presented the material using several different approaches until she found one my daughter could understand. In addition, Jessica connected with my daughter and was able to talk to her in language she could relate to and help her to realize just how important an education is! We feel blessed to have Jessica working with our daughter.
So easy to use!
I really love how WyzAnt operates. I like being able to search through tutors and read their credentials and their location without having to sign up for anything or enter any personal information first. Having posted pictures of the tutors helped us identify the person we'll be meeting: I really like that feature, too. I also appreciate that we were able to email the tutor to get more information (e.g. where the tutoring would take place) before officially signing on. Our tutor responded the same day as our initial inquiry, and was able to begin tutoring within days! Being able to have billing information on file for automatic payment is very convenient, and thus far has been completely accurate and billed only after each tutoring session. The quality of the tutor has been terrific: he's been able to identify the gaps in knowledge that were keeping my niece from grasping more advanced concepts, and has explained math in a way that she understands! We are very pleased with WyzAnt!!
Helpful And Quick
So far I have had a good experience with the program. It was really easy to get started and once I found a tutor I was able to get started in a few days. I plan on using this site continuously until I finish school for any subject I need help with. The tutor I've been using seems very helpful and really knowledgeable on the subjects we have been covering. Although I do think the prices are a little steep I would like to see the prices drop by about a quarter of the price. This would make it much more affordable and I believe more people would use the site, I also think it would allow me to afford more sessions so I could get more one on one time.
Easy to use
My experience has been easy to use. The search was easy to narrow down what I was looking for and the payment is quick and painless. My tutor enters in a review of what we covered and I rate how the lesson was. WyzAnt pretty much takes care of the rest. Easy to use.

Great Website
I needed to find a tutor for my son and stumbled upon this website that made everything easier for us. Today is the first time that the tutor comes over to teach, he seemed to be very knowledgeable. I feel pretty confident. I also like the fact that the website pays the tutor so it makes it easier.
Find the Right Tutor FAST
As a student athlete and aspiring Geophysicist at the University of Texas finding time to study can be a challenge. When my grades started to slip, I became desperate for more personal attention and help. I decided to turn to the internet to help find a good tutor. The first site I visited had a myriad of tutors to choose from and I emailed about 5 of them. Never got a response- not even to say "Sorry, but I am too busy with other students and don't have time to help you." It was very frustrating and I began to lose hope about ever understanding the material enough to get a decent grade. Then I found WyzAnt! Not only did they have MORE available tutors, they also have a feature where you can check an option to have suitable tutors email you! Not only did I get a response within ONE DAY from the first couple of tutors I emailed, I got about 8 emails from other tutors who wanted to help me! Within two days I had scheduled a time and place to meet my tutor. Not only was he flexible with times, but he was also willing to drive all the way to campus to meet me. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to really make sure I understood the material. The method of payment is very simple too, type in your billing information and after each session your account will be charged- hassle free and worth every penny! Talk about amazing!

Thank you WyzAnt for setting up this site, I had no idea where to start with finding my daughter a physics tutor. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical to start, but in desperation I went with your site. Brian was a god sent. My daughter came home with this magic in her eyes. Brian was able to make sense of it all to her. My daughter said "Brian made it so simple, I felt stupid." She is kicking butt in class now, and has changed her attitude towards physics. I really can not thank you enough for building confidence in my daughter.

I find this website to be extremely helpful to find tutoring around your area. Very user friendly and the customer service is excellent. I was very pleased with the information provided in the website and with the tutor. I also liked the payment plans offered and the discount you get when you purchase several lessons in advance. Wonderful Tutors
My son and I were very impressed. The tutor was very prepared for everything. It was like being in the first day of school. He let my son take an evaluation skill while he explained to me what would take place over the period of tutoring. I am really glad I decided to do this. Excellent Tutors
This is the best experience I have had with any tutors. Julie was great with the kids. Finding a tutor was so easy. I felt like it was just a click of a button and I had several tutors to choose from. All the information was right there to make your decision. I love the payment arrangements. You don't have to worry about giving the money at the time of the tutor lessons. It is just automatic. Love it. The support is great. If you have questions all you do is call or email, I prefer email as I am not a phone person at all. My overall experience and impression is this is the only place to find a tutor. All you have to do is give a brief summary of what your child is having difficulties with and it actually distinguishes the different tutors. It is great. I have told many people about this website and hopefully they will benefit like my kids are benefiting. Thanks WyzAnt for a great program and I will definitely be using you in the future.
Helpful Tutor Search
I used WyzAnt to search for a tutor and within a week I had set up my first session with a tutor. The profiles of tutors are so easy to read and the web site is very user friendly. Even when I wasn't emailing tutors, tutors were emailing me giving their credentials and why they would be a good fit to tutor me. There is such a wide variety of tutors for so many different subjects that I am sure to use WyzAnt for any of my other tutoring needs. I loved the package deal that came with pre-ordering credit from the website, as tutoring can get expensive it is nice to get a break anywhere you can, and WyzAnt definitely gives you the opportunity to save money and get extra credit for tutoring every which way you turn. The site also gives you tutors that are in your area, so finding a tutor that can meet at your home, or your college is as easy as 1 2 3. I loved using this website to search for a tutor and definitely suggest this site to anyone else who is looking for a tutor.
