Very easy to find a tutor on short notice
My experience finding a tutor was very simple. I posted a job and received many responses in just a few days. I needed a tutor in a short amount of time. I found just the tutor I needed for my son and have been pleased!

My daughter has been working with "Ms. Katie" for a few weeks and thus far the results have been very positive. Katie has listened to my educational concerns regarding my daughter, she has researched the public school requirements and is tutoring based on the SOL standards (as we discussed). Katie is thorough in execution of the curriculum outlined for my daughter, and is staying on course while tutoring. Additionally with her background in special education, Katie is a great match for my daughter's needs. Her tutoring is helping my daughter with her math skillset, preparing her for high school and also building her self esteem; all things I believe is giving her self confidence and making her want to achieve higher learning. My daughter looks forward to her weekly tutoring sessions. Katie is an excellent tutor who is well prepared, and truly cares about teaching.

Excellent and easy service!
Wyzant helped me locate a physics tutor. The process of payment was safe and easy. I found that having my tutor while taking an online course was like having a face to face instructor. I was able to pull off a B+ overall. I could not have done that without the tutor.

Tutors, good servce for the price
I selected a tutor close to home, but allowed others to respond. Got 2 hits, one who responded quickly, and who came to my home the next day. She has worked out great. Lots of selection of people with various levels of experience. There is no reason you can't find a tutor to suit your needs. Well worth the money.
Great Tutor Search, Selection and Outcome
We are very happy with the WyzAnt program. We needed an algebra tutor for our 13 yr old 8th grader. Many candidates responded to our initial request; many with professional backgrounds. Our tutor is an experienced, local maths teacher who is prompt, patient, and understands how to teach to a junior high student. We are so fortunate to have found her through the WyzAnt program. The payment system is straight forward; its a good value plus the feed back system for both teacher and parent is excellent. The best part is that our son no longer struggles and is starting to build confidence with math.

I found WyzAnt by searching for tutors over the Internet. I am very pleased I found them. Very, very efficient way to find tutors. Customer support representatives are very professional and cordial. The system as a whole is brilliant, with an easy payment process, way to give feedback after each tutoring session, etc. The tutor I ended up hiring was excellent. I got about a dozen responses within the firs half an hour of placing my inquiry for a Chem tutor and just decided to try one of them and it worked out perfectly well. I would definitely use WyzAnt again.

Excellent service overall; high quality people doing high quality work. I was especially pleased with the ability to source tutors by zip code. Nothing more frustrating than finding exactly what you need only to discover that it's 3000 miles away in California.
Good way to search for tutors in all subject.
So far, our experience with wyzant has been good. There was enough teachers with in our budget to choose from. They were puncture and seem to know the subject to teach. Also the payment system is simple to use. We are really glad to use wyzant.

Great sessions with a great tutor.
I never realized that WyzAnt existed until someone told me to go online and try to find a tutor. When I did, WyzAnt came up and the tutors would come to the home 20 miles and less. It so happened that the tutor lived within 5 miles and I emailed her, and gave her my phone number also. We made arrangements for her to come to my place, and the rest is history. She knows what she is talking about,so very pleasant to be around. I have been learning from her what I could not do on my own. Thank you WyzAnt for being there and thank you Pam . "You are awesome."

Great Tutor - Fantastic Web Resource
Finding the WyzAnt website has been the gold resource of my summer, and not just for my daughter. I have been telling everyone about this site and describing it as a cross between Amazon and Facebook for anyone's learning needs. The site is well-linked and high functioning. It takes the customer smoothly from one end of business to the other. And, the creators of the site have thought of each step of a transaction and built in clear high functioning (no glitches!) steps to finding a tutor and managing the relationship. When the tutor is here, the focus is solely on my daughter. The WyzAnt site takes care of everything!

The service has been a life saver for me. I think if I did not get a tutor it would be a difference of passing or failing. I believe I will pass the two classes I got tutoring for with a descent grade.

Based on my 2 week experience, I am enjoying the service of WyzAnt. I couldn't have chosen a better tutor. My tutor's profile was spot on to the work that I needed help with. I like the feedback and review information that my tutor provides. I like how the website makes this information very easily accessible for me and others who might be interested. The website is fairly user friendly. I like the receipts and notices that the service provides. The receipt notices allow me to easily submit expense reports to my company. The receipt information is very clear. So far, I am very pleased. I would recommend this website, if I was provided the opportunity.
