Jessica C., reading tutor
Jessica C. has been tutoring my grandson in reading since the end of school in June. She always arrives on time and spends the full hour working with him. She is friendly, professional, and patient. She is teaching him about main ideas and details in the stories that he is reading. She is also helping him develop strategic reading skills. She always gives him positive feedback after his sessions and he looks forward to his time with her. She also gives us helpful and detailed session feedbacks. We are very happy that we chose Jessica to tutor him, and feel that it is time and money well spent.
Quick and Simple
Finding a tutor and getting started was effortless. I went on the WyzAnt website, sent an email on a Tuesday with my requirements and started with my tutor on Thursday. Response was quick, payment was easy, and my tutor is brilliant. My overall experience has been a stellar!!

Great Tutor Search Site
I used to feel so helpless whenever I needed help with my son's studies as I didn't know who to approach, how to find a tutor for him. One fine day I came across WyzAnt through google, am very thankful to this site for bringing great tutors to us. My son and I are very happy that any kind of tutoring help is just a click away.
Math Tutor help
I googled Math tutor help in my area, and it brought up Wyzant. I had already been to Sylvan and found that is was very expensive. I took a chance on Wyzant and had a response within a day for a Math tutor in my area. He comes to our home for one on one with my daughter, and we are paying about $10 less per hour. It has been a great experience so far. I am pleased.
Great Tutor and efficient service
I have been very pleased with the WyzAnt program. It was easy to find a tutor and he is excellent. I also appreciate the summary after each session and the ease of viewing the account.
The Perfect Alternative
I started looking for classroom setting when I realized that I either had too much knowledge or was behind the rest of the class and never quite found the right class. Having spent time living in Mexico, I had some working knowledge of the language. I contacted WyzAnt about a Spanish Tutor and had a huge selection of people to choose from in my area. We are able to key in on areas of weakness and we don't waste time on things I already know. I also have more opportunity to speak in Spanish as opposed to being in a class with other students. I plan to continue my tutoring through the summer.

Tutor Search
I have used WyzAnt in the past and found the experience very positive, so when I was in need of a tutor again, WyzAnt was the first place I turned! Again, not disappointed. I found a wide range of tutors listed and of the three I contacted, two responded right away. We have already had our first session with our new tutor, and that session was very positive. I would recommend WyzAnt to any parent or student looking for a tutor.

I just happened upon the WyzAnt website when looking for a tutor for my daughter. Easy site to navigate and I found a tutor that was a good match quite easily. I especially like the feedback about the session which is done quickly. Also, like that I can see the balance in the account. I would recommend this site to anyone who is in search of a tutor.
Great Tutors! Great Response Time!
I have used WyzAnt to find both a grammar tutor and geometry tutor. I need them quickly. I got a lot of great responses and in both instances found someone to do the tutoring the next day. Both tutors did a fabulous job.

I began searching for a language tutor (Cantonese) and stumbled upon your website. WyzAnt is very easy to use and I was able to locate the right tutor immediately. Easy payment plan, good selection of tutors in my area.
Thus far, my experience with Wyzant has been very positive. I was able to easily locate, and communicate with 2 tutors in our area, for our daughter. She has had 2 sessions with one, and one with the other, and is feeling a lot more positive about her learning abilities. Payment has been very convenient, as I had an exisiting Paypal account.
Excellent Rating Overall
I have had an excellent overall experience with WyzAnt. The website is streamlined from search to accounting details. My tutor Andy G is an exceptional teacher and continues to encourage my growth while offering constructive challenge to the subject matter. He is resourceful an offers common sense analogies when needed.
Good Experience
Initially, I was a bit frustrated with your service. One of your tutors had initially indicated she might be available but then was quite remiss in getting back to me on whether she could meet at specific times/dates. It was frustrating and, in my opinion, unprofessional. Ultimately, though, we made contact with another tutor who was much more responsive in terms of coordinating on meeting times/dates. When he visited our home, he quickly assessed my son's needs and worked with him intensely on addressing them. He sent follow-on messages offering recommendations for my son to take up between lessons. My son seemed to develop a good rapport with the tutor and was conscientious about completing assignments between lessons. Overall, we were very pleased and I anticipate we may call on your service and even this particular tutor next academic year.

Great Resource for Finding Tutors
Finding a tutor through WyzAnt was easy. There are many to pick from with a variety of fees. My daughter's tutor, Laurie, is very knowledgable and helpful to my daughter. She is much more confident about retaking the ACT. Laurie was also very willing to meet wherever and whenever worked out best for us. I am very happy with WyzAnt.
Easy to Use
WyzAnt connected me to a Spanish tutor for my son. The tutor answered my initial inquiry quickly and we were able to come to an agreement. WyzAnt's customer service representative was friendly and helpful when taking my payment information.
A very positive experience with WyzAnt
I must say that I was apprehensive at first; however, after the first contact with Michael, I felt at ease. Everything about the experience has been positive. Of course, the best part is that Michael, my son's tutor, has been enormously helpful, and has the ability to make the subject of algebra interesting and fun. He has an exceptional way of utilizing innovative ideas to communicate. Great experience overall!
Great excellent tutor!
My experience with WyzAnt has been wonderful. The tutor search is accurate and honest. I did a not so good experience with 1 tutor and I submitted a review and in less than 24 hours you guys refunded my money and I was indeed a satisfied customer. I would have given up on the site but because you treated like a person, and listened to my concerns, I came back, found a wonderful tutor. I was more prepared this time, to let my tutor know how I wanted my time spent. And so far Ive received wonderful results. Thanks you and as far as I'm concerned you guys deserve!
Excellent Tutors - you cannot go wrong
