Great tutors so far
I have had a great experience with the 2 tutors I have secured through WyzAnt. They have both been very thorough and patient. I am learning how to use Autodesk Maya for animation and my experience with WyzAnt has been great so far.

Good experience
Wyzant had many Spanish Language tutors for me to choose from, and the word of my search spread fast. Like, they were knocking on my door to have the opportunity to tutor me. I was able to vet them through email and I now have the person who appears to be just right for my needs. Whenever I called Wyzant, the employees were very nice and helpful. I have had a good experience with Wyzant, and I am thankful.
Wyzant is Wise
Great Website. Easy to use, lots of tutors, geographically convenient, terms negotiable. Love it! Wyzant is wise. We needed a tutor for our 7 and 10 year old for summer remediation and the process was so painless with Wyzant. The leads for local tutors was great; the response from tutors immediate, the easy payment plan and discount options also very attractive. Our kids will continue with this great resource during the regular school year.

Easy to use
I was at a loss to find a tutor for my child as I didn't know anyone who used a tutor. I checked online to see what was available and came across WyzAnt. The process was straightforward (my request was responded to by several tutors) and the final choice was easy after reading his profile and experiencing the first lesson. I wish I had started the process a whole lot earlier!
First take on WyzAnt
When I asked my wife if she had found a Tutor for my 17 year old son she related the usual trials, ask a friend, so and so says this person is great but not taking any more students, this great tutor moved away, posted for a tutor on the college bulletin board but the tutor never showed up, etc. I started searching for tutor resources on the internet and stumbled upon your great service. Within a few days of posting I had 5 replies, after some quick phone interviews, I was able to land a fantastic tutor. The tutors come to your house or will meet the student at a public library. This was a huge benefit after years of shuttling my son to tutors all over the area (some as far as 45 minute drives each way). More time for my son, more time for my family to be together, less cost of gas,etc. But most importantly more time for my son to be tutored! The tutors charges are very reasonable, and after making some scheduling commitments it was easy to buy a block of dollars to cover the tutors cost at a discount. I am already referring all of the parents I know to your great resource. the need is out there, the supply of tutors is out there, This allows a very safe and convenient way to connect us.
Pleased With Tutor Choice After Two Lessons!
I am very pleased with my choice of a tutor and we are moving into the areas of my greatest concern, those being: hearing with comprehension, sentence construction and ease of conversation.
Great Tutor Search and Selection
It has been easy to find tutors using Wyzant's service. The prepaid package is convenient. My son has enjoyed the tutoring sessions.

So far, so good. My son likes working with William. We have a few more sessions to go and then he will re-take an exam. I have never used WyzAnt before this but it was really easy to use. Impressive Tutoring Resource
I didn't have any idea where to begin in finding a good tutor fast for my high school son. The school had limited resources and any business here required my son to leave home for his session. We found several qualified options in your data base that live close to us and ended up choosing a great one in Beth. After only a few sessions, we're seeing the benefits already. Learning some French for my trip

As a result, I found a local tutor who is professional, competent, engaged, flexible, and effective. We continue to meet weekly as the semester progresses and I am confident that our work together will have a positive impact on my understanding of this complex topic.
Straightforward and productive
If you read the reviews of Wyzant, and their website, you learn how they operate. We contacted the tutor before we opened an account and established to our satisfaction that she could do the job we needed. We placed money in the account and it was drawn down after each tutoring session. We had some cash in the account at the end and it was refunded to us immediately. No problems whatsoever. I would use Wyzant's services again.
AWESOME TUTOR!
I have been pleased with my experience with WyzAnt so far, it's very easy to get information on qualified tutors in my area. We are very happy with our choice of tutors. Gerald is always prompt and prepared. He is very patient with my daughter and I can not wait to see how my daughter's math grade has improved.

Great Tutor Search and Selection
My experience with WyzAnt has been awesome. I knew that my granddaughter needed a strong tutor in Science. I started searching the Web to find a Science Taks Tutor. I had never heard of WyzAnt before. When I searched for what I needed, WyzAnt came up. I read the background of Ame and knew she was who my granddaughter needed to help her pass her test. Once she and I met Ame, I knew on our first lesson that we had found the best. I knew that my granddaughter could pass the test but she needed someone who would make her believe it and to also believe in her self and this is exactly what Ame has done. I am pleased with the payment process and extremely pleased with our tutor.
Great way to locate the right tutor.
So far so good, I located my daughter's tutor by choosing from many responses to my search. I felt she was the best candidate based on her own unique experience with teaching kids/teens. My 13 year old loves her teaching styles, and tells me she GETS IT. I'm grateful to have found Marianne. The set up payments are easy, and the package discounts are great. I would reccommend this program to all parents who's kids are struggling or want to advance (in my daughter's case) in a subject.

I'm amazed at how easy WyzAnt made it for me find the right tutor and to arrange payment for his services. Within an hour of requesting help, I had 4 different tutors respond to me via my email. I was able to choose the one I felt was best suited to my learning needs and within an hour I had an appointment to meet with my tutor.
