Tutors have been awesome
My experiences with Wyzant tutors have been very positive. The tutors that I've used through the site have been extremely knowledgeable and have been super helpful. They are both really nice people as well. I'm very satisfied with Wyzant and their staff.

Good Job Wyzant
It took talking to a few ducks, but we found a swan through Wyzant. The tutor we found was amazing and produced amazing results in our son's grades and confidence. We tried 2 tutors at no cost until we found one that really knew the material and clicked with our son.

Payment for lessons reduces awkwardness
My experience with WyzAnt has been very positive and I'm so glad this service exists (and that it came out of my home town Chicago!). I have been in DC for about 10 years and have used foreign language tutors on and off for almost the entire time, even serving as a tutor myself. What I like about WyzAnt the most, aside from the fact that it's quite populated with tutors which I did not expect (I expected Craig's List to have more), is that you pay the web-site and not the person. This helps create accountability and serve as a buffer between both sides. I committed to a number of sessions because of WyzAnt's payment structure, which I otherwise would not have done, and my tutor settles payment with WyzAnt, not me. Serving as the broker or agent between us frees us up to actually focus on the lesson and not worry about the underlying money exchange that often creates awkwardness or discomfort among both parties (particularly among international tutors, I've noticed). Anyway, thanks for this great service! Although I have only used tutors for foreign languages, I am now encouraged to seek other tutors (photography, cooking) and even have my husband post his tutoring services. Thanks!
Convenient, affordable and effective service
I tried finding a tutor by posting an ad at the local colleges, but due to the higher level of math involved, did not receive any responses. Then I found the website for WyzAnt, where I had access to many local tutors with experience, background checks and credentials. The site is easy to use, secure for payment and there are many choices so you can tailor your selection to location, experience, price, availability or whatever your selection criteria requires. This has been a great resource for finding a good match.

We are satisfied in all aspects
Searching for a tutor was easy, and we found an excellent one right off the bat. She is talented, skilled, flexible, professional and my son is getting a lot out of their time together, learning botht the material at hand and greater lessons about ways to learn. The system for reporting on what occurred at individual lessons is convenient,and she promptly (within hours) provides detailed accounts of the session, with valuable observations about my son's progress and needs. The method for payment is convenient as well. All in all, I could not be more satisfied.
Easy to find a tutor.
This site is very easy to use. Also, was able to find a good tutor for my son in just a couple of hours. I would recommend this site to my friends.
