WyzAnt makes finding a tutor very easy. You can quickly search on subject and geographic location to narrow down your choice of tutors. Easy to read profiles of each tutor help you select the right person for your needs. The pre-payment discount is a great way to save a few extra bucks, too!
Great Tutor Search and Selection
My experience with WyzAnt has been awesome. I knew that my granddaughter needed a strong tutor in Science. I started searching the Web to find a Science Taks Tutor. I had never heard of WyzAnt before. When I searched for what I needed, WyzAnt came up. I read the background of Ame and knew she was who my granddaughter needed to help her pass her test. Once she and I met Ame, I knew on our first lesson that we had found the best. I knew that my granddaughter could pass the test but she needed someone who would make her believe it and to also believe in her self and this is exactly what Ame has done. I am pleased with the payment process and extremely pleased with our tutor.
Great way to locate the right tutor.
So far so good, I located my daughter's tutor by choosing from many responses to my search. I felt she was the best candidate based on her own unique experience with teaching kids/teens. My 13 year old loves her teaching styles, and tells me she GETS IT. I'm grateful to have found Marianne. The set up payments are easy, and the package discounts are great. I would reccommend this program to all parents who's kids are struggling or want to advance (in my daughter's case) in a subject.

Great Tutor: Great Experience
I'm amazed at how easy WyzAnt made it for me find the right tutor and to arrange payment for his services. Within an hour of requesting help, I had 4 different tutors respond to me via my email. I was able to choose the one I felt was best suited to my learning needs and within an hour I had an appointment to meet with my tutor. By arranging payment online, my tutor was able to focus on me and my learning needs and not hassle with money issues. Mark was excellent. I highly recommend him. He was totally knowledgeable, professional, prompt, and gentle in teaching me the intricacies of statistics and the technology used in statistical equations. Math Tutor help
I googled Math tutor help in my area, and it brought up Wyzant. I had already been to Sylvan and found that is was very expensive. I took a chance on Wyzant and had a response within a day for a Math tutor in my area. He comes to our home for one on one with my daughter, and we are paying about $10 less per hour. It has been a great experience so far. I am pleased.

The Perfect Alternative
I started looking for classroom setting when I realized that I either had too much knowledge or was behind the rest of the class and never quite found the right class. Having spent time living in Mexico, I had some working knowledge of the language. I contacted WyzAnt about a Spanish Tutor and had a huge selection of people to choose from in my area. We are able to key in on areas of weakness and we don't waste time on things I already know. I also have more opportunity to speak in Spanish as opposed to being in a class with other students. I plan to continue my tutoring through the summer.

I have used WyzAnt in the past and found the experience very positive, so when I was in need of a tutor again, WyzAnt was the first place I turned! Again, not disappointed. I found a wide range of tutors listed and of the three I contacted, two responded right away. We have already had our first session with our new tutor, and that session was very positive. I have used WyzAnt to find both a grammar tutor and geometry tutor. I need them quickly. I got a lot of great responses and in both instances found someone to do the tutoring the next day. Both tutors did a fabulous job.

Thus far, my experience with Wyzant has been very positive. I was able to easily locate, and communicate with 2 tutors in our area, for our daughter. She has had 2 sessions with one, and one with the other, and is feeling a lot more positive about her learning abilities. Payment has been very convenient, as I had an exisiting Paypal account.
Excellent Rating Overall
I have had an excellent overall experience with WyzAnt. The website is streamlined from search to accounting details. My tutor Andy G is an exceptional teacher and continues to encourage my growth while offering constructive challenge to the subject matter. He is resourceful an offers common sense analogies when needed.
Good Experience
Initially, I was a bit frustrated with your service. One of your tutors had initially indicated she might be available but then was quite remiss in getting back to me on whether she could meet at specific times/dates. It was frustrating and, in my opinion, unprofessional. Ultimately, though, we made contact with another tutor who was much more responsive in terms of coordinating on meeting times/dates. When he visited our home, he quickly assessed my son's needs and worked with him intensely on addressing them. He sent follow-on messages offering recommendations for my son to take up between lessons. My son seemed to develop a good rapport with the tutor and was conscientious about completing assignments between lessons. Overall, we were very pleased and I anticipate we may call on your service and even this particular tutor next academic year.

Great Resource for Finding Tutors
Finding a tutor through WyzAnt was easy. There are many to pick from with a variety of fees. My daughter's tutor, Laurie, is very knowledgable and helpful to my daughter. She is much more confident about retaking the ACT. Laurie was also very willing to meet wherever and whenever worked out best for us. I am very happy with WyzAnt.
