The right choice
I found a few Excel tutors whose prices were well within my price range. Then, there was one tutor who was twice as expensive than the others in my area. I can't say for sure why I picked the most expensive tutor, but in any case, I have to say, I got what I paid for. It was the right choice.

Great tutor search and selection
I have had a great experience with WyzAnt. My seventeen year old son needed a tutor to help him prepare for the SAT. I chose a tutor from your list of resume's. She is very smart, patient and reliable. I am very pleased with how easy it has been to find a good tutor. If she had not worked out there were plenty of other quality resume's but I am glad I chose our tutor. I will recommend this to my friends.
Better than I expected.
I was leery at first of choosing a tutor from online, I was worried it was possibly a scam. I could not ask for a better program. Our tutor has been great with my son and I see a difference already. Thank you!

Great Tutor Search
I was apprehensive at first about using WyzAnt, but it has been a great experience so far. My son was struggling in pre-calculus, but with the help of his tutor he received a 95 on a quiz and an 86 on his last test. I would highly recommend WyzAnt to any parent.
Great experience, easy to find a tutor
Answered all my questions and concerns easily. Helped us pick the best tutor for our son. She is an excellent Tutor and has incredible insight into and relates with Henry on the level he needed. She knows how to motivate a former gang member on his level but taking it to an adult level. Well done and will be certain we recommend her to others. She has great insight into her students needs on both the educational and emotional level which in this case is vital to our son moving upward and continuing his education.

Great experience for searching for a tutor and great selection
WyzAnt solved my problem of looking for a French tutor in my area for my High School daughter. No one I knew had known of a tutor for French in my area. I did an online search and found WyzAnt which connected me with our tutor. It was a very easy process and we found a great tutor. I would recommend using WyzAnt if you are searching for a tutor.

I've searched for two different kinds of tutors on WyzAnt in the past few months, due to the change in semesters. Both experiences were a breeze! There were many potential tutors to choose from, and once I contacted a handful, I heard back from all of them. When we landed on the particular tutors, meetings were set up within the week, and they were fabulous. I am very pleased with the method of payment (easy!) and the service of these bright, friendly tutors. Thank you for this helpful resource, and here's to helping all our kids learn!
Great service
This site is easy to use and response time from potential tutors is very fast. Finding tutor who can adapt to personal learning style can be a little more tricky. I have also found that there can be an issue in communicating if the tutor has a strong accent where English might be a second language. Responses from those I have reached out to in my initial requests have varied. Luckily other tutors are quick to respond when the, "have others in the area contact me", box is checked. Overall, this is a great service.
Excellent resource to find a great selection of tutors
I was looking for a tutor that could help my daughter with multiple subjects. WyzAnt was very easy to use and was useful for tracking payments to the tutor I selected.

Great description of tutors
It's hard to pick a tutor or learn enough about them before they walk through your front door, but the Wyzant summaries are detailed and spot on! And there are tons of options and lots to choose from. We were looking for a geometry tutor that could connect with our daughter and make geometry fun and not overwhelming or a chore. The process was easy and we met a fabulous tutor that has not only met, but exceeded, our expectations. Thank you!
Easy and safe to use.
I began looking for a tutor for my son many other places, including the school. I was cautious of Wyzant because I had not really heard a lot about them. Now I would not hesitate to recommend them to others. The tutor is great and payment made simple and secure automatically. It is a very good quality site.

Easy To Use & Quality Tutors
I found WyzAnt through a search site similar to Google and was impressed by how easy it was to navigate. I was easily able to find tutors based on my criteria, see their prices, location, and education level. I also enjoy the easy way you can contact potential tutors through the WyzAnt site in a safe way, and that you can not contact anyone over the phone without first providing your payment information (for teacher security). I was able to find a great tutor in my price range at WyzAnt and I don't know how I went so long without her! My favorite part of the WyzAnt site would have to be the payment option. I love that I can add credit at my convenience, that WyzAnt will make sure my teacher gets paid, and that WyzAnt also offers discount packages for bulk credit buying. Sometimes it can be hard to keep on a regular paying schedule with your tutor or teacher and the WyzAnt payment page takes all the guesswork out of paying, does not charge any extra tax or fee, and is extremely convenient. I would recommend this site to a friend! Thank you!

Fabulously User-Friendly Site & Wonderful Tutor
I needed to find a German tutor for my daughter and googled "German Tutor" and added the name of the city I live in. WyzAnt popped up, along with a couple of other options. I perused. I was immediately drawn into WyzAnt because of its accessibility and transparency. I quickly found many potential tutors in the area and was able not only to read up on them, and see what each one charged, read reviews on them, but also to contact them directly. After a bit of screening over email/phone, I knew which one I wanted. We set up a meeting and I was so impressed with what a good fit she was for my daughter's personality and learning needs. I love that I get a summary of the lesson each week. And not only that, but the way WyzAnt is set up to deal with payment makes it so utterly uncomplicated. I don't know when I've had something fall into place with such ease. It's like Angie's List for tutors, only better!

I wish I had discovered WyzAnt years ago. The entire process is straightforward and quick to access. It is great being able to choose from a selection of tutors that fit all the criteria we were looking for. We couldn't be happier with whom we chose. My children look forward to their tutor coming. The tutor is fabulous - punctual, polite, intelligent, "cool". He has been able to uncover very quickly what each of my children's learning glitches are. The grades came up immediately. I really like that I was able to purchase bulk tutoring hours - don't have to deal with paying the tutor every time he comes. I have told many people about WyzAnt that fully plan on using this service.

Fantastic resource!
I had a great experience with the WyzAnt site. It's very easy to search for tutors in your local area, and the tutor information gives you an idea of what the tutor is like, their teaching style, etc. I really needed help with chemistry and found more than one tutor. Both are excellent, patient, and have helped me a lot already. The payment system is easy to use and I like the option to either pay as you go, or buy sessions in bulk and receive a discount. No money is exchanged when tutoring takes place which takes the awkward part out of it. Very happy with WyzAnt so far.
I would be lost without WyzAnt!
So, my high schooler texted me in a panic needing help with Algebra 2! What??!!! So, searched the internet and stumbled upon WyzAnt...found many tutors that fit my needs. Emailed them all and received a response from all. Paired up with a wonderful, retired teacher and my daughter is delighted with the help! She is flexible, friendly and knowledgeable!

Excellent and Easy
I easily found a wonderful Latin tutor for my son. I noted the great credentials and glowing reviews so I gave the tutor a try--- and she was perfect! Punctual, knowledgeable, always available, focused and very nice. I also love that I don't have to worry about leaving a check or cash at home every time the tutor meets with my son because after each lesson, the cost of the session is automatically charged to my credit card. Love it!

I'm so glad I discovered WyZant because we found a great tutor and I don't have to worry about payment. It's automatic. Great tutor search and selection!
Finding a tutor was easy. My daughter's tutor, Dree, has been very helpful. My daughter's geometry grade has already improved. I like the way payment is set up, because you do not have to commit to more time than needed.

Wyzant is an awesome site. I have recommended it, and recommend it for tutoring. I'm very happy with the tutor that I picked out. Wyzant has quite a selection, giving you different options. You get to choose pricing, experience, distance... whatever suits your needs. I would say to chose more than one tutor, only because of the availability of their time, just in case. But in my case, very satisfactory!

We got very lucky and found a great match immediately. The search feature really helped us narrow down the types of people we needed to interview for our son's homework needs. The offer of "free first lesson if not satisfied" is a great idea, as it leaves you to find the tutor you want. In my case, we found the perfect tutor first time. The "package deal" of bundling sessions at a discounted price is very satisfying too. (You feel like you are getting a good deal). Hopefully all tutors are like the guy we found - obviously knowledgeable, good/quick understanding of student's needs, good communication and ability to explain difficult concepts in an understandable way.

I had an immediate need for a tutor and sent a message on a Sunday! I actually got several responses and by Sunday night had a phone conversation and session scheduled! I was desperate to help my child and Wyzant came through!
