Very Useful Site!
I've gone to WyzAnt twice now - once for an ESL tutor for a teenager and once to set up private art lessons for a child - and both times I was very happy with the experience. WyzAnt has had plenty of available choices in my local area for both topics and the potential tutors that I have contacted have all been responsive. The two tutors that I have worked with have been awesome! And the website makes it easy to arrange for payments - as well as keeping records of the details of each lesson - what was covered, how the tutor thought it went and how the student and I thought it went. I will definitely go back any time I need to arrange a tutor again, for any topic and for students of any age!
Excellent Tutor
I've found that I can't rely on my daughter's school to recommend a tutor, so we have to find help on our own. Wyzant has been a great source for helping us find a Music Theory tutor for my daughter. They give you an option of qualified tutors to chose from, the billing couldn't be easier and the customer service reps have been very helpful. Hannah is doing an excellent job helping my daughter keep up with and understand what she's learning in her Music Theory Class. Thank you Wyzant!

Good overall service
Very good experience so far, the web site is very friendly and easy to use, I am also happy to know that I don't have to pay the tutors directly. I wasn't very lucky with the first 2 tutors and wyzant did not let me pay for it, now I am happy to have found the tutor that my son felt comfortable with. I also called your representatives several times and there is minimum waiting time and they were all very helpful and pleasant. I can simply say that I am satisfied and happy with the service.

Math Tutor Search
I am new to the VA area and it was hard for me to find tutor center’s during the summer break. I goggled math tutors in my area and Wyzant popped up. I got a phone not too long after I created an account and Sarah posted a blurb and I got lots of feedback. With the amount of responses it was easy to stick to the schedule that best fit my schedule. I recently started tutoring with Connie for my 10 year daughter. The first session was more social however, once Connie started on the work that my daughter stated she is having issues, it was obvious the areas that my daughter needs work in. Also it didn’t help that we are just coming off of summer vacation. I liked Connie’s approach with allowing my daughter to explain her reasoning but showing her better efficient way complete the problem. Connie started with division but I think maybe going back to a few steps may be needed. Connie is scheduled for Monday’s and Wednesday, and I am tempted to increase her visits just to really work on the basics. I will make the determination based on the home work load as the year progresses. I really look forward for Connie’s visits.
Great Web Site
Hi Wyzant Team. I really love this site. I was impressed with the degree of user-friendliness and I love the whole online payment system. It was also great to be able to see the different tutors' profiles and rates up front. The whole site and system made it a breeze to find our 7 year old a great tutor. I had not heard of the site but my dad found it using a basic google search and thought it might be helpful. Keep up the good work!
Great source of hard to find instructors/tutors
Finally, after of several months of wondering how I could successfully begin another career at my age (70), I found this site. I had many qualified tutors, most with impressive credentials, to choose from. Instead of constantly putting aside my burning desire to become a public speaker, I was able to take positive action toward achieving this goal.
