Easy tutor search, great selection, helpful customer service reps
So far everything has been unbelievably easy. We are very happy with our tutor and WyzAnt representatives are always pleasant, knowledgeable and quick to answer any and all questions. We have had three lessons and after the first session, my son was very satisfied in our choice of tutor and feels so much more confident in the class. He is happy and feels it is definitely helping.
Excellent Tutor search
My daughter has been taking tutoring lessons from her tutor for about three weeks now, but what a difference I have seen already and so has she. My child is now understanding what is going on in class and feels more confident. He is a professional also. He keeps the time we have discussed and if I need additional days he checks his schedule and gets back promptly. I am so happy with our choice. My only regret is not using WyzAnt earlier in the school year. We have an excellent tutor and WyzAnt makes it even more convenient to pay. I don't have to worry about having cash on me or being overcharged. This is an excellent way of finding a great tutor for your kids.

My wyzant experience to date has been wonderful. Elaine, my tutor, is always on time and prepared for the session. She has a lot of information that makes the lessons come alive through her life experience. Everything advertised on the website has been delivered.

Good Tutor Search and Selection
I needed a tutor for my niece in algebra. I was able to search on my time with no rush. I was able to narrow my search by physical locale and subject, and I ended up with a great tutor who helped bring my niece's grades up and gave her a better understanding of algebra. My family and I are completely satisfied with your website and the tutor who we have been referred to by your company!! Customer support was helpful when I questions the 10% off package. I look forward to seeing a discount when we end our $400.00 package for tutoring. The search for a tutor has been excellent using your website. I have a great Geometry tutor!! My first choice for a tutor was a high school teacher. However, he is unavailable at this time. I like the feature that at least 5 tutors can contact me. I can possibly hire them in the future. Another tutor for the future is a physician who lives in our city. Generally though, I cannot hire the tutors for the entire school year due to the cost factor with a one income family at this time. An average family simply cannot afford $800-$1000 a month for a tutor. However, we like the flexibility of WyzAnt which allows parents to hire a tutor on a short term basis. In our case, it is to prepare our son for his midterm in Geometry. We paid our previous tutors/teachers $30.00-$35.00 an hour for the entire school year. This is more acceptable.

I am glad I found this website because every time I need tutoring all I have to do is go to the website, type the kind of help I need and then I get a bunch of choices which I can narrow down even further like by my zipcode to get tutors that live closed to my neighborhood. This website is really awesome!

I must admit at first I was very leery about giving a website I had never heard of before my card info and trusting them to do right by what they said they were going to do. I thought it was a novel idea, superb website and the experience I have had so far has been fantastic. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a tutor. This was something we have needed for a long time and I have always been treated correctly both by the website and its entities as well as the wonderful tutor we have. Please give them a chance to prove how amazing they are if you are looking for a tutor. Best Ever Tutoring Services
Over the past four years I have worked with several tutoring agencies to help my son master rigorous math and science curriculum. My WyzAnt experience has been the best. Particularly because of my experience with the tutor but I am also impressed with the turnaround time to get my son support and the payment plan is also fair and easy. I will be using WyzAnt for my daughter as well, maybe even for my son when he gets to college!!

Great tutor search and selection.
Very satisfied with our tutor we tried the first time out. She gets right down to business, and our son has improved in Algebra immensely after struggling with some concepts. Now he is confident again, as math was one of his favorite subjects.
Great site
I haven't met with my tutor yet, but when I signed up 2 months ago, I put a credit of 400$ on my account. I had to pull the money out for emergency reasons, and Wyzant refunded the money to me right away!!! I know now I can trust Wyzant. Now that I am back to normal, I just signed up again and I am ready to start my classes. I am very happy.

Easy to read about each tutor to find the one to fit my needs. Found several tutors within a 10 mile radius of my home. Read about each tutor. Then sent an email to one and within 24 hours had a response and set up the first session. Web site is very easy to use and easy to deposit funds.

My daughter was struggling in Math and I found the WyzAnt online. I signed up and had a very qualified tutor at my house within hours. We now have the tutor on a regular schedule and grades are improving exponentially. I grow two additional arms to give this service 4 thumbs up.

Excellent Source for Tutors
I stumbled upon WyzAnt by accident while searching on Google for a private in home tutor. Their website made it extremely easy for me to search for tutors in my area that met the criteria I was looking for. I was able to easily make an initial inquiry with two separate tutors that I thought would be a good fit. With each inquiry there was an optional check box allowing WyzAnt to refer the inquiry to additional tutors that also met the same criteria (which I opted for). Within 12 hours from my initial inquiry, both of my selected tutors responded to me, and within 24 hours I had 3 additional tutors reply as well. Of the 5 tutor responses I received, 2 of them were able to accomodate the schedule I needed. After meeting them both (which took less than a week), I decided on one of them and was able to start sessions immediately! So far, I am extremely satisfied with the tutors services, and I still cant believe just how easy WyzAnt made the entire process. I highly recommend their services to anyone seeking a private tutor.

My Search for a Tutor far exceeded my expectations. I was searching for a Tutor in another city; not where I live. After carefully reviewing Wyzant's Registry of available qualified Tutors; communication was initiated with a prospective Tutor and the process was underway. Although my contact with Customer Service has been limited, it has been favorable.

I am currently applying for an MBA program and need to take the GMAT. After taking a pretest, I realized that my math skills are very poor. Decided to seek help. I looked at several GMAT test prep courses but the cost was outrageous and most courses were on demand. I wanted one-on-one help and I wanted the focus to be on math. I found Wyzant and am glad I did. The site is easy to use and there are a ton of skilled tutors. The nice part was that I was able to contact a few before I found the right fit and it didn't cost me a thing until I decided on the tutor I wanted. There's no hidden fees, you simply get charged for the tutoring session after the fact. When searching for a tutor, the profile includes their hourly rate so there's no surprises. I was skeptical at first but now that I have been doing this for a few weeks, would highly recommend Wyzant anyone searching for a tutor.

Great Spanish Tutor Found
My needs are fairly unique. I want to learn conversational Spanish. I took 4 years in high school back in the 70's. I learn pretty well on my own with books and tapes, but I really need to practice conversation. WyzAnt found me a charming local tutor. We discuss weather, family, travels, current events. It has really beefed up my Spanish and it's a lot of fun.
