Easy and reliable
It was my first time using a tutor service. My son needed help with calculus. I was leery at first of the quality of tutors I would encounter and ease of finding one. This service was amazing. In a matter of one day, I input my criteria, was provided many, many tutors and their profiles and selected one and scheduled the first session. The whole process was so easy. It was great to see others reviews which were spot on. I was surprised to also find a tutor within a mile of my house that could come to our home and was available to meet our schedule. Definitely recommend this service.

WyzAnt, My experience thus far with your company has been great. My tutor always calls, she is punctual, courteous, and has a great deal of patience with my 4 year old granddaughter. The payment process has been accurate and I have no complaints.
Experience using WyzAnt
Our experience so far has been good. There were just too many educators for tutoring to choose from. We got lucky and found an educator in the town we live in so that made the experience even better. We have one week under our belt and about six more to go. I am confident that we will get the extra help needed for our son before school begins again.

I didn't know what to expect when joining WyzAnt, however, I must say that my experience thus far has exceeded my expectations. My tutor is very knowledgeable but also flexible. She tracks my progress from week to week with certain goals but she understands when I am feeling overwhelmed and adjusts her expectations accordingly.
Great Tutor Selection
I began searching for a tutor and found that WyzAnt website was so easy to use and within a few minutes, I was able to find a tutor to help my son with the SAT preparation. Brittany F. has been a great tutor! Just as I had selected from the website. She responded quickly and we easily got connected to begin tutoring. Everything going great
So far I'm very pleased. My tutor is very good and flexible regarding hours. My only issues is that I've not been able to spend as much time focusing on my own practice as much as I need to, but that is my issue and something that I'm going to improve on very soon. I'm really glad that I found WyzAnt. My experience has been positive and I will use you for other classes as time goes on.
Great experience
Our tutor is great! So glad we found her. We will def use her for Spanish 2 next year. She was always on time and the entire process from locating her to payment was super easy.
Tutoring Session
My experience with WyzAnt is not my first so I knew what to expect. I got responses from almost all of the tutors that I send emails to. I used one tutor for one lesson and he was very professional and easy to understand. If I require a tutor again in the future I will be sure to use him. Thanks again WyzAnt.
Great tutor and experience

The best place to find the help you need!!!
I am currently in graduate school and needed assistance with Biostatistics and Healthcare Finance. I found 2 of the best tutors on this site. It is so easy to get started and it is very affordable. Both tutors were available and worked around my crazy schedule. I can't speak highly enough of the WyzAnt website and the incorporated tutors. Both tutors were helpful and very knowledgeable in their field of expertise. I will graduate this December and I am am so grateful to having the pleasure to work with Anthony I. and Richard V. Great Totor Search
A very user friendly website. What I like most about WyzAnt is the profile of each tutor. What a tutor says about him/herself tells you a lot whether he or she is a good fit for your child. I used WyzAnt twice, I found excellent tutors both time.
Helpful and informative website!
I was very excited to find WyzAnt after searching on Google for tutor possibilities in my area. I greatly appreciated being able to search by subject area, and the tutor descriptions were very detailed and informative. I "bookmarked" several tutors for future possibilities and also contacted one tutor. I LOVE how WyzAnt allows you to input your payment information, as I have found the payment part of tutoring a bit awkward (as have the tutors who have come to our house previously). WyzAnt removes this part of the "transaction" and follows through with requests for tutor feedback to help future customers. I have already recommended WyzAnt to several friends, both as a resource and as a possible job opportunity. Thank you for providing such a useful service for busy parents like myself.
top of the line tutor
I went on line and googled "tutor" and saw several tutors but I did not like them so I continued to scroll and found WyzAnt I signed in and plugged in the subject and zip code this pulled up all available tutors within a radius of the zip code. I looked down and realized that some tutors had profiles and times of availability but no picture so I only looked at tutors with photos that would fit my daughter's schedule. I came across one tutor, Javier, who was actually in the city of Alexandria and was willing to meet my daughter at the library. Javier responded to me immediately and set up a date and time. He arrived on time and was well prepared to assist my daughter. My concern was that he would not be up to date on the current geometry that is being taught in the school system. He asked her questions and my daughter showed him what she was currently working on, Javier gave sample of some problems similar to the ones she got incorrect on work and proceeded to take her step by step on resolving the problems. Javier was patient and was able to cover everything she wanted to go over and she felt more positive about her geometry. I thought the program was very well set up and very professional. I will continue to use WyzAnt and will keep it as a a backup for any other subjects she maybe having difficulties with.
Great Tutor Search and Selection
I looked up to find a French tutor and when I looked at WyzAnt, I liked the fact you could easily find the tutor for the subject you are looking for. The payment system is great and the selection of possible tutors was a great one. There were several that could fit a variety of expectations. Seconde is a wonderful tutor. She is prompt, very good with our teenager (encouraging and very clear about the differences of the language). WyzAnt is very easy to use from selecting the tutor to requesting and getting the first contact with the tutor as well as the payment. Thank you, WyzAnt!
Outstanding Service
Several weeks ago, I was completely stressed out about the fact that my daughter has a major High School Assessment Test in December and I knew that she was not prepared for this test. This test will allow schools to determined if they will accept her registration and even the amount of scholarships that she can get. I knew I could not help her, so I decided to find her a tutor. The problem with that is the fact that I have a bad work schedule and all the tutors that I knew could help her were not available at the days and times we were. Also, I would have to drive a long distance to meet with these tutors which was really inconvenient for us. One day, during one of my searches on the web, I came across WyzAnt, Inc. First I was not sure this would work for us and after reading the "How It Works" page, I was thinking that this is too good to be true. However, I decided to give it a try and I figure that if he didn't work, I could always get my money back. I searched for a math tutor on the site and was able to ask this tutor questions even before I submitted a payment. This was pretty cool, because this gave me a chance to figure out if this tutor was a good fit for my daughter before I even submitted the funds. Literally a couple of hours after my first e-mail to the tutor, he responded to my e-mail. He was able to work the days and times that I was able to fit into my schedule. Most importantly, he would come to a public location that was convenient for me and my daughter! This was amazing..I was so excited, but still skeptical and could not wait for our first session to start. I immediately created an account and wanted to add funds. This process was so easy. It only took me a couple of minutes to get this done. I just needed to go to My Account page and click on Purchase Credit...I was able to choose from one of the discount packages they offer or just add whatever funds I wanted to add to my account according to my budget. It was nice having this option. It may the process less stressful. After this was completed I was ready to go! I confirmed my first session with the tutor, location and time and we even exchanged phone numbers. This whole process only took a couple of minutes. No stress, headaches, nothing... The day of the first tutoring session, I was nervous for me and my daughter. We arrived to Starbucks about 10 minutes earlier...and that was the longest 10 minutes ever! I was thinking the whole time that maybe this is a scam and the tutor will never show up. However, I was WRONG!!! My tutor not only showed up, but he was extremely friendly, courteous, punctual and he had all his tutoring materials prepared and he was ready to start the session. I really wanted to scream of joy, but there was just too many people around, so I kind of smiled quietly on the inside. My daughter has been tutoring for 3 weeks now (twice a week for 2 hours each session). We are almost finished with the book we have in preparation for the test. She is very comfortable with every subject the tutor went over with her and now, I believe that she will ACE this test. I am one happy and thankful parent! This is one stress item that no longer exist thanks to WyzAnt. I strongly recommend this program to anybody looking for a hassle-free program and a great tutor. You will not regret it! I don't!

I was skeptical at first but after we completed the first tutoring session I was completely happy! I found WyzAnt via a google search for an AP Biology Tutor for my son. It was easy to enter the information the WyzAnt website requested. I was able to look at the bio's for several potential tutors and send them an email. I got responses from several tutors right away. I even got responses from tutors I did not contact, which was fine. It was helpful to start the selection process before I had to commit my credit card to the system. The price was right so when I went to the site again the next day and had no qualms about signing up. As soon as I set up the billing I get another email from the tutor and we made arrangements for the first session. She showed up right on time, got right to work and was kind enough to stay afterward to speak with my husband and I. We didn't have to have cash available to pay her because the billing took place overnight behind the scene. Really cool! I'd say we are off to an excellent start! The website seems to provide a service that the high school does not. I spoke with the school counselor previously but he did not have tutor referrals except for student tutors. WyzAnt provides a private tutoring service that is confidential and offers a diverse selection of tutors and subjects. I save time and money using this service. My son is pleased and encouraged. The tutor we selected was recruited by her college. My son is being recruited so this was a added benefit for him. I would definitely use this service again. I did not have to use the phone and I did not have to wait for return calls. It could have taken a lot longer to find a tutor. I would like to know how WyzAnt selects people to be tutors because I noticed that a few of the folks who responded to me were working adults with no experience in tutoring and no recent academic experience. I have found that the best tutors are the ones who know the specific curriculum at the school the student attends. The tutor I selected graduated from college this year. She stated that she took AP Biology as a senior in high school. Her major was biology. For these reasons I selected her even though her high school education was out of state.
Wonderful Service!
It was so easy to use the WyzAnt service, and we really like the tutor we found(Thomas D). We just began lessons, but my son is feeling more confident in Algebra 1. I will recommend the service to others. It makes it so simple to have the account set up so you do not have to worry about writing a check each time. Your credit card is charged after the lesson. WyzAnt does seem to have a thorough screening process for accepting their tutors so this made it much easier for me to hire a tutor for my son.
