Wonderful Tutors
Great tutors at great prices. We found an art tutor and a ballet tutor for my 12 year old daughter. We are very satisfied because both tutors worked with us for our time frame. Very good experience.

my experience so far with wyzant...
i found the entire process quite pleasant-from searching for a tutor to her actually appearing in our home...the only problem i find is that the college students are not as responsible as the older tutors in terms of returning phone calls/emails-maybe it's just a cooincidence but i found that the more "mature" tutors with whom i dealt were more reliable regarding returning calls, etc. in addition, the payment method you employ is very easy. thanks wyzant

It was very hard for us to find a tutor who was willing to do a little traveling. It took us weeks to find a tutor. There are not enough tutors for the Bronx. There seems to be more male tutors available then female tutors, which our daughter feels more comfortable with a female. When we did find one we love her but unfortunely, because of personnal reasons; she can no longer tutor our daughter. So, the search continues.
Exceptional tutor service
Needed a tutor for my daughter who was having trouble with algebra and was not sure how to proceed with search. I found WyzAnt through google search and decided to give it a try. Finding a tutor was easy once I specified subject area and in fact I was shown a choice of several available tutors. I emailed my first choice and within the hour he responded. I added my paypal information to the WyzAnt site which was easy and then set up appointment for the tutor to start tutoring my daughter. He was punctual, friendly, and very patient with my daughter. She is very pleased with his assistance. Great experience so far. I would highly recommend WyzAnt for any seeking tutoring services.
The Best Decision
I needed a tutor ASAP, and combing through the web I found Wyzant. I wasn't sure if it was the best however I took chance and it was rewarded. It was easy to get in touch with my tutor and take lessons, picture and sound was clear. The chalkboard came in handy and very easy to use to show examples. During this pandemic being able to talk to my tutor Ms. Sarah on Wyzant took all the frustration away.

An Extremely Positive Experience
My whole experience with Wyzant has been extremely positive. I was hesitant to contact a tutoring service in the first place, but after contacting several colleges in my search for tutors for my child, and also after posting a number of signs for tutors - both, with absolutely no success, I decided to give Wyzant a try. And it's been a great experience. I initially chatted online with a Wyzant customer rep and then called Wyzant directly. I found both reps extremely friendly and helpful. The tutor we decided on has been amazing for my child. He's not only knowledgeable, but extremely patient and thorough. He's a wonderful tutor - a "real find!" But what's also amazing is that compared to the initial stress and frustration of trying to find a tutor on my own, the process of working through Wyzant is so much easier. I wish I had known about Wyzant several months earlier. I have since recommended Wyzant to two other parents who are looking for tutors for their children, and will continue to recommend your service to others. Thanks very much!
Math tutoring with Garry T.
First off let me tell you about my experience as a whole, I wanted to request math tutoring for me to brush up for the GMAT being that I have not taken math classes in about (4) years I have forgotten a bunch of terminology, rules, and so forth. I came across this website and found it to be very informative, each tutor has their description listed, where they went to school, what they studied, subjects they have tutored in. I like how you can select many individuals whom you would like to get more information on, and it directs you to email them directly. It’s great because there is no 3rd person we have to go through everything is set up on the web site. Once you speak to the tutors you have emailed and selected one which you feel is best, you can enter you billing information online, and select a tutor. Once I had paid for my first lesson, I simply emailed the tutor whom I wanted to meet with and we both set up a time and date. It’s great because the tutor was working around my schedule; I work full time so time to meet with tutors is limited for me. We met in a public place, and got to work. I didn’t purchase a package because I wanted to check out the whole experience first. After my first lesson I went and purchased a package at a discount price, and who doesn’t love a discount.
Excellent Overall
WyzAnt has been great so far. My kids are very happy with Anna (music lessons), and we appreciate the regular written feedback we get after each lesson.
Fits my Needs
I wanted to learn some basic Japanese when I travel there for business. I have no need to learn the characters as I need to demonstrate the respect I feel when visiting Tokyo. This was an easy way to find a tutor that met my needs. My disposable time is limited and the tutor comes to my office, is on time, thorough and tailors the program to my needs. It is easy to register, pay and coordinate classes/programs. From the initial sessions, the tutor is well informed not just about the language, but about the culture, which is so important. Great experience thus far!

Great Service
I needed a tutor for my son and didn't know how to go about getting one that was good, trustworthy inexpensive and that he would feel comfortable with so I did a search in Google for "tutors" and Wyzant Tutoring popped up. At first I was skeptical, but after sending out a couple of emails and talking to some of the tutors I decided to give the service a try. I found a great match for my son and I'm happy to say I am satisfied with my choice. I would definitely recommend this service to other parents.
Helpful and well organized system.
I have had an excellent experience using Wyzant Inc. I was looking on the internet for a possible tutor for my son, I never heard about Wyzant before. It was joy to my eyes when I started looking at the volume of tutors available for me to interview close to my zip code. I emailed a few tutors and had very quick feedback from each of the tutors, plus the first hour is free if the tutor is not suitable for your child's needs. It's like going to the supermarket and picking until you find everything that your looking for. I think that I have found the right tutor for my son and if not the possibilities are endless because I have Wyzant's help. Now that I know about Wyzant, I will be using this system well into my son's college years. Thanks and well done to the founders of Wyzant.

Great Tutor Search
I found a great tutor and so far everything is working out wonderfully. I searched many tutors on this site and I am grateful because as my child go up in school, I now have a place where I can search for additional help for him.
