Looking for a tutor for my daughter was easy with this service, after my first selected tutor was not available during the times and days I selected, I found another tutor easily and she was available. As it turns out the tutor was excellent, very likable, very knowledgeable. Very happy with the service.

Carol B. - CHSPE Tutoring
Hello fellow students and parents that utilize Wyzant for their tutoring needs in their pursuit of education, My name is Richard and my daughter Mackenzie had taken the CHSPE early this year. While she excelled in the english portion of the exam, she struggled with so e challenges in math. Mackenzie passed the English portion of the CHSPE with flying colors but fell just a little short in the math section. After the test we began searching for a tutor to assist her in achieving her goals of completing the math portion of the test. My daughter is 16 and her hopes were to graduate early to begin her college career. We found Carol B. On Wyzant and Kenzie selected her out of the many tutors. Kenzie met with Carol online for five sessions beginning a month before the test. While Kenzie did the work and put in the effort. Carol B. Was the guide that lead her to the water. Kenzie drank her fill of the lessons and guidance and passed the math portion of the CHSPE with a respectable score. Kenzie is currently in her first two college courses at the local JC and is thriving. I have utilized Wyzant myself through my undergrad and still utilize the service through my MBA program. Tutoring, with the right tutor is an excellent tool to use while pursuing education at every level. I implore all students at all levels to utilize tutoring as a tool in their educational goals. Great Service and Statistics Tutor
I have been very pleased with my tutor. He has been helping me since September of this year (2017) in Statistics for my graduate classes. He has helped me a great deal in learning the SPSS software designated for my class. He has been super patient, and flexible to work with my schedule. I really am so glad that I am using Wyzant. The tutoring and friendship experience I have gained, has been nothing but pleasant. I would definitely recommend Wyzant for anyone who needs help in statistics. I am so happy that I found WYZANT on the internet search when I started taking my math course. My tutor had so much experience and information that helped me through the most robust class in college. My grandson is now being tutored because I wasn't the only one struggling with math. I am glad that there are no upfront fees for this service, like another tutor provider (I am still waiting for them to refund my money), and I am grateful that I had a tutor within a day that was willing to work with me and my schedule. I would recommend this service to anyone that is having a rough time with getting the grades that they deserve.
Great 1-on-1 Learning Experience
I love the two tutors that we use. It's always awesome when your child says I learned an easier way to complete my assignments. I have seen changes in his grades and we have had four sessions so far.

Found some very qualified and wonderful local tutors through Wyzant. They worked with my child’s schedule too. I wanted to pick one from the selection we narrowed down to but we may end up scheduling different time slots with them all because they all bring different strengths to the table! Wow! Have matched the perfect tutor for our 14 yr old daughter who needed help in Geometry. Loved the selection of tutors provided by your service. Our daughter's friend told us about Wyzant as she had found a tutor to help her and raved about him. We could not use the same tutor as different math class but found someone equally spectacular.

Amazing Tutor search and selection
This service was introduced to me by my student support advisor, and I am glad this service is available for students doing online degree programs. Sometimes, it is difficult to find a tutor who knows the materials/subject matter and those who are good explaining and clarifying thinking processes of the students so they can better grasp the topics. Quick responses and excellent tutors
I reached out to Wyzant needing immediate help for my daughter with calculus. I had never heard of Wyzant, and it was only one of the places I contacted. The response from multiple tutors was immediate, friendly, and helpful. On that first day, my daughter made appointments with two tutors -- one online and the other in-person -- and got great help from both. She has since continued tutoring sessions with the person she met in-person, and is grateful for the tremendous help he has given. Cannot speak highly enough about our experience with Wyzant.
Found a great Spanish 5 tutor
Wyzant helped us find Alani, a fantastic spanish tutor. Our son is in AP Spanish 5 but was uncomfortable speaking spanish conversationally and was getting a C. After four sessions with Alani where he was forced to speak conversationally for an hour, with helpful corrections/suggestions (over the month prior to his 1st semester final) - he got his grade up to a B and is getting more comfortable speaking. We're going to keep it going and we expect that it should help greatly for the AP test! So glad we found her!

Online Tutoring
I was thrilled to find this website! What a wonderful resource and detailed website Wyzant turned out to be! I was nervous at first to begin online tutoring but my worries soon vanished! I logged on late at night and heard back immediately from several tutors offering assistance, all who had extensive background in my needed subject area. Karen was the perfect fit for my educational needs and booked several session with me to help write my final paper for a class I was struggling in. I didn't tell Karen this, but I needed to make an A on this paper in order to maintain my A in the class. I made a 93 on the paper and was thrilled to keep my 4.0! Karen was very flexible and met with me several times over the week to provide assistance. I had known about this assignment for several weeks and did not understand how to complete it at all prior to working with Karen. She broke it down easily for me and answered all the questions I had! She was very patient and delayed several sessions so I would have more time to finish the paper before she could review it. Karen even scheduled a late night session with me to go over the paper one last time before submitting! Karen was truly amazing and I am so thankful for this website and the excellent service provided!
Finding a Tutor Through Wyzant
I really like the fact that your Wyzant web site allowed me to find the appropriate tutor for my son without having to talk to a live person and feeling the sales pressure that I have to make a decision to choose a tutor with your organization. I loved the fact that I could search for a tutor by category i.e. need a tutor for Calculus and read the profiles of each tutor and review the tutor's ratings to see how others felt about a specific tutor. I also liked the fact that the tutor's hourly rate was listed which helped me decide which tutor to use. Your web site is very intuitive and it was easy to communicate with a tutor and set up an appointment within 24 hours. The ease of accessing and communicating with a qualified tutor at a reasonable hourly rate within 24 hours exceeded my expectations. We are very happy with our son's tutor and his grade has improved already.

Sound way to find a tutor in your area
I was in need of a tutor for my granddaughter to help her prepare for a college entrance exam, particularly with respect to math. I found Wyzant and checked it out, only later discovered that they are tested on all the areas in which they are to help students; and that they have to provide a written summary of each tutoring session (to the client) in order to be paid. The tutor, thus far, has been excellent. Dedicated and willing to be flexible in scheduling. She has devoted extra time as needed. I am very happy.

Found Great Tutor
Searching and reviewing profiles of potential tutors was very easy. There were multiple tutors available. I'm extremely satisfied with our math tutor. He had a lot of experience, including working with people with learning disorders. My college child has Dyscalculia, which is a math learning disorder. The tutor quickly determine the best way to communicate and explain concepts. They work very well together.

Easy to find the right tutor
I honestly really appreciated the fact that this website displays the amount of hours the math tutors have spent tutoring specific subjects. To me that means that I would probably be better off paying a bit more for someone that REALLY knows their stuff and so far my tutor has been amazing.

Struck GOLD Math & Struck Out STEM
Having been a tutor myself I knew exactly what I was looking for in a math tutor. I made a quick but good decision to go with my first choice tutor on Wyzant. My child and I have been extremely ssatisfied with the sessions thus far. However, I struckout with the science/engineering tutor who I felt crossed a line. When I was outside the library, the STEM tutor told my son he was dyslexic (he has no LD) and that he could cure it by having him read Willy Wonka. He told us the same thing when the session was over. Stunned! Who can diagnose an LD in one sitting w no testing and cure it after one book??? The basis for the misdiagnosis? My child misspelled the word does a couple times while taking notes. Again, stunned that such an odd bird tutor could slip through. My child said he thought things were going well until he was told he had a problem. Ugh.

Very unique and ideal service although I personally was not interested in online sessions however I feel very comfortable meeting my online tutor. Other tutors offered working with me with different costs and experiences, it was easy to find my fit.

I like working with my tutor and being supported by Wyzant's online program. The work together on my lesson and then I print each page. I have them in a notebook and put notes on them as I review them.

Great Tutor, Great experience
We were at a loss as to how to come up with a physics tutor for our high school age daughter. I was searching the internet and ran across WyzAnt. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of tutors that were available in our area. The tutor we contacted was Ellen. She responded promptly, we set up a time for her to come and it has been great! She is terrific, not only does she know the material well, but she knows how to relay that knowledge to my daughter. We also get a review from Ellen after each session as to how it went and what they covered. I would recommend WyzAnt to anyone looking for a tutor.
Great Tutor Search and Selection
When I first looked on the site for a tutor, I had many options to choose from. Also including pictures and detailed information about the tutor, from personal to profession. Many responds back offering to help. The tutor i went with, is absolutely amazing, I would recommend her to anyone. Every meeting I have with her, Wyzant sends me an email conforming it. So if you feel that the tutors may be not who they say they are, you have wyzant to back that up. Using this site, the tutors work with you well working around any schedule of life you my have. I called customer service one time, my question was answered and taken care of right away. The offer of different pay options is another great feature. I would highly recommend Wyzant for any NCLEX help needed.

Great Way To Learn
Needing help in excel I came across Wyzant. Being a little skeptical I decided to give them a try. Opening my account was simple, which then lead me right into my choice of many qualified tutors. The billing end of it was clear and easy to read. The moral of my story is I found a great tutor who has taught me more in 3 sessions than I could have ever imagined. Feel Blessed to Find Wyzant and a Great Tutor
My Russian tutor has been extremely helpful in my learning process. He moves me along this very hard language and gives me my needed homework. He's always available to me - I like foot-forwrd learning, and that's what George provides for me. I absolutely found the right tutoring match for my style of learning. Great resource for tutoring
I am grateful that I discovered Wyzant. I was in desperate need of a Genetics tutor and the two tutors that helped me were excellent. They were such a relief in helping me succeed in the course. The process and payment were smooth and simple. Paying for tutoring here was money well spent. I may use Wyzant for GRE tutoring too in the future.

When I was going through a summer class to help with getting into pharmacy admittance I looked here for a tutor to help. When I found my tutor they were able to come and visit in my neighborhood. The tutor was aware and understanding of all the topics I covered and we had excellent communication. I always knew where I was meeting and what our plan was. I would recommend to a friend and would use this website in case I needed to use a tutor again!
Finding a tutor made easy
I was trying to find a Latin tutor for my son, who is going into his junior year in high school. I was having a hard time finding a tutor. I found this site and I instantly found 3 tutors within my area. It was such a relief to find some options. We found a good tutor to match my son's needs and while he hasn't started back to school yet he feels more confident about the subject even after just 4 sessions. Ease of Finding the Best Tutor

My 11th grade son was struggling in school and we went the Huntington Learning Center route. What a waste of time and lots of money. I wish I found WyzAnt long ago. Very efficient way to find a good tutor
My daughter and I think we have found someone who really knows her stuff when it comes to the math section of the SAT. The tutor seems to have her finger on the pulse of the test writers and has narrowed the focus of my daughter's sessions to problems that closely resemble what will appear on this fall's test. Another stroke of luck is how close the tutor lives to our house; we have settled on a mutually convenient location that is practically just around the corner from our neighborhood.

Awesome Process and Great Tutor
This has been a great experience. We found a great tutor and within days everything was set up and he was tutoring my son in SAT Math. I love that we do not have to pay the tutor directly and it automatically comes out of our account after each session. My son has made tremendous progress and it has been worth every penny!!
