Great Tutor Search and Selection
We began our search with the hope that we could locate my daughter's extremely talented former tutor at a now closed tutoring center. We realized that this would be a like searching for a needle in a haystack, but lo and behold, we found her through WyzAnt! She is a perfect fit for our daughter, who was comfortable with her from her very first tutoring session almost 18 months ago. We are thrilled that this situation turned out exactly as we had hoped, and that we were able to resume this productive professional relationship!
Great idea - fantastic selection of tutors.
I am very excited that I can find a tutor on a wide variety of subjects. There are so many tutors each with their own style. This is a tremendous resource -- so far I have been impressed with the tutors/tutoring sessions. I haven't found exactly what I have been looking for in a tutor, but I am not giving up yet. I like how there is up to a 15% discount and the account is online.

My tutor Tom has been extremely helpful, and using WyzAnt's website has made the experience that much easier. Great Tutor search
My daughter grades were falling and I wasn't sure what to do. I went to Google and typed in tutors in my area. I ran across WyzAnt tutoring and wasn't sure if this was a scam. I read through the profile of the tutors in my area and came across my tutor. I thought she had a very good profile and she was exactly what I was looking for. The fact that she has taught basic and AP math was very helpful. Needless to say, she is an excellent tutor and my daughters grades, attitude and confidence level have greatly improved in such a short time. Thank you.
Good overall experience.
I am always skeptical about online services but I was in dire need for a tutor for my daughter. My experience with Wyzant has been a positive one in many aspects. The customer service reps have been friendly and helpful. There are many tutors to choose from. The website is easy to use. We are happy with our tutor and the improvement my daughter is making.

Excellent service for locating a tutor!
My son needed a foreign language tutor, in Russian! Not easy to find in central Ohio. WyzAnt provided information on a tutor's experience, education and location. Perfect match for our needs. Our tutor not only teaches Russian, but is from the Ukraine, so has been a wealth of information about the culture! Our tutor is reliable, responds quickly to questions and makes tackling this very difficult language a fun experience for my son. He looks forward to his time with her. Great Tutor Search
Tried Craigslist first but was very uncomfortable dropping my daughter at local libraries with unknown tutors, WyzAnt had great bios, security checks and all tutors were willing to come to our home to work, hourly rates are reasonable and paying through WyzAnt is easy.
Good support and follow up reps
I think that this is a valuable resource for older students needing extra help to finish their career studies. I have found this website to be professional and helpful. I was called 2 weeks after I started tutoring to make sure my tutor was satisfactory.
Very efficient solution!
I have never used an online tutor search service and had no idea what to expect. It was a very good experience. We found a highly qualified tutor for AP Economics who was reliable, friendly and flexible. Response time was outstanding; results were also quite good. A+ for this great service. Organic Chemistry Help
Wyzant has been amazing for helping me get a tutor. After not doing so well on an Organic Chemistry test, I was recommended by someone to just browse Wyzant and try and find someone who may be helpful. I was astounded by how much help is on Wyzant. I was able to get an excellent tutor who knew exactly what I was working with. I got all of the help I needed and I even began to learn new material that would be covered on the next exam! I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience on Wyzant, and I cannot say enough good things about getting the right tutor for you.
Wyzant makes finding a great tutor easy
I was overwhelmed in trying to find a tutor for my daughter. When I found WyzAnt, the process became simple. I was able to read profiles, student reviews and see pictures of the tutors. I contacted a few tutors and several tutors contacted me as well. WyzAnt made it easy to determine which tutors fit our needs as well as making it easy to pay for each session. We have only had 3 sessions with our tutor and my daughter is feeling more confident already. As a parent I really like the review that the tutor completes after each session. It helps me track my daughters progress.

Finding a tutor was easy through the website. The website was very easy to navigate through. Payment was simple and convenient. Did not have to contact Customer Service however information and notification through customer service emails was handled very well. Easy, organized and effecient.
Working through your agency for our tutor is easy and reliable. The tutor is great! We had to try two or three (?) before we got the right match, which is fine. Laura is very knowledgeable, responsive and reliable. My daughter likes her, respects her and is willing to take suggestions. I have contemplated applying for tutor positions with WyzAnt as I am a licensed teacher. Our positive experience with WyzAnt is something that makes me want to think it about more seriously.

We Found a Wonderful Tutor with a Terrific Fit for our Child
We needed writing help for our middle school daughter. WyzAnt's website was easy to use, and we were able to identify 3 suitable candidates in less than an hour. After exchanging e-mails, we set up initial sessions with two tutors, and ended up falling in love with the first tutor we met. She has tutored our daughter for 3 weeks now, and we are already seeing dramatic improvements in our daughter's writing organization, her awareness of writing mechanics, and her enthusiasm for her written assignments. What a turn-around! So far, our experience has exceeded all expectations.
EXCELLENT TUTORING SERVICES
Everything about this website is as perfect as it says it is. There is nothing hidden or surprising. I was very quickly able to locate a tutor to suit my needs. My tutor was everything that she said she'd be. Scheduling time with her was easy and convenient. Also, I found the billing to be extremely helpful and it was accurate and timely, which is critical to all business transactions. I didn't have to feel awkward settling up with my tutor because WyzAnt took care of it. WyzAnt will be my "go-to" for all future needs for tutoring.
Finding a tutor
Finding a tutor was an excellent overall experience. Great selection of qualified tutors. Response time was great. And, the tutor that I selected has far exceeded my expectations. He is at my home tutoring a 17 yr old. His knowledge of subject manner is great. His preparedness is fabulous. And he is excellent in his teaching skills. I can't say enough about him and the student looks forward to his sessions. If I were asked to rate him it would be "excellent" in all areas and aspects of teaching. He's also a very good mentor! He would be an asset to any school: public or private! This is truly a home run.

So far, my experience has been very good. It is too early in the process to tell much at this time, but the website was helpful in arranging times, contacts and my account.

I am not a tech savvy person. But, the WyzAnt website was simple for me to use. I liked the variety of tutors from which I was able to choose. Most of the tutors offered their services for a reasonable fee, too.

Great resource to find tutoring!
I've used wyzant for three tutoring sessions so far, and it could not be any easier to schedule and find tutors. It's easy to view profiles and learn about a potential tutor, and they don't make you pay to contact, like some dating websites out there. Last inure tutoring is hard to find, but i got it done successfully with wyzant.

My experience finding a tutor has been stressful. I stumbled upon this website while searching for a tutor in my area. I was crunched for time as I was into the middle of my semester at school. Due to this website, I was able to find a tutor at such short notice. He has been dedicated and wonderful. I have really learned alot from him. Site works very nice
I was extreme impressed with the tutor we have. She did help him bring up his grade a little is the short 4 - 5 weeks she had to work with my grandson. When I realized my daughter needed an Algebra 1 tutor ASAP I didn't know where to start. After searching online for tutors I came across WyzAnt, and I am so happy I found it! It was so easy to find highly qualified tutors near me in exactly the subjects I needed. The responses from tutors I contacted was really fast and I was able to begin sessions right away! Great Service and Tutor
I came to Wyzant, desperate for a tutor to help me rewrite part of a final IT-related project. I reached out to a couple of local tutors, but the tutor with whom I worked actually reached out to me, and was not in my geographical area. Wyzant has a whiteboard system where tutors and students can have an online meeting, with or without the video camera. I was skeptical of this service at first, as I have never used a service like this one ever. Turns out, my tutor was reliable, EXTREMELY knowledgeable, and SO patient. We had three sessions, I think? That said, I finished my rewrite, and just found out I received a final overall grade of B, which is higher than I expected before the tutoring. I am very satisfied with my WyzAnt experience. I highly recommend it.

WyzAnt made it easy to find a tutor specialized in the area my daughter needed help. I don't know what I would have done without the website. I don't know any tutors and really needed someone with experience with an ADD child who was behind in Reading. Our tutor was very patient and supportive. My daughter likes getting tutored.

I will come back to Wyzant because they allow me and the tutor decide if we're right for each other; the tutors I worked with were not only subject experts but were genuinely interested in teaching material in an understandable way and persisted in that; pricing varies tutor to tutor, tutors are flexible about where to meet, when to meet, and how many times to meet. Easy to use
The site is easy to use and find a tutor. I would suggest that students are charged immediately after a lesson loads instead of the 48 hour time frame. I would also like to be able to pay for a session online myself instead of having it come out automatically. Other than that, it is super easy to use and very convenient.
Tutoring made easy!
WyzAnt made it possible for me to be able to find specialized tutors that I would not have had access to without this website. The payment system has been great in that I can use my debit or credit card to pay our tutor. My son has come so far this summer due to the one on one tutoring that he has gotten. A simple and impressive process!
I needed a tutor for my son over the summer. I inquired on line, provided my criteria and within an hour I had numerous tutoring candidate profiles to view with bios and rates. Everything I needed up front to make the process seamless. I selected a few and had some dialogue with them through Wyzants email service before choosing a tutor. I like the anonymous factor where multiple people don't have my personal information (nor do I have theirs). The only thing I am not fond of is payment, I don't like providing my card information to anyone. I wish I could just pay the tutor cash instead. None the less I went with the payment method of my card and the transactions have nit been an issue to date. I'll continue my son with his tutor throughout the upcoming school year as well!

Easy to find a good tutor, and several choices were available. Easy to contact the tutor and the lessons have been great so far. Fees have been reasonable, especially the tutor's fees, and all my questions have been answered welll.

I decided to look around to see what options I had to assist my daughter with her upcoming SAT/ACT exam and I came across Wyzant. I think this app is Super Wonderful, Easy and Convenient! I like that the tutor reaches out to the parents via secure email and Wyzant takes care of all the financial portion. I love the flexibly of the tutors and prices.
