Impressive Tutors
I am impressed with the tutors we are using. I found both tutors to be very knowledgeable and well versed in the areas they tutor. I have teenagers and they both have been impressed with the help they are getting. I will use both people throughout the year on a regular basis.
Finding a tutor made easy!
WyzAnt made our search for a tutor so much easier than I could have imagined. Within a few days of starting my search I had several emails from prospective tutors. I was able to email and meet my son's tutor within a few days and he was getting the help he needed the next week. I gained peace of mind knowing the tutors available through WyzAnt are certified and that I could order a background check if desired. It has been a week and half and I am already seeing progress.
Help with advanced math
Nice job! I was leery about finding a tutor for advanced math. The tutors that WyzAnt suggested definitely know a bunch about math and they are also good communicators, able to pass on that knowledge. Thanks WyzAnt for making that connection!
Search and Selection/Great Tutor
I found searched for WyzAnt on Google and found WyzAnt because I wanted to get help for my daughter who was failing math the first two weeks into school. I used your search tool and found a tutor right away that met my needs. I loved the background check, that made me feel secure since one of the requirements I had was that the tutor be able to come to my home. The tutor has been GREAT! My daughter has already raised her grade from an 18% to a 76% in math and she absolutely loves having lessons with her tutor. Love doing math, did I just say that about MY daughter? Thanks WyzAnt and thanks to the wonderful tutor I found there.
Finding a tutor
Using Wyzant has been great for finding the help I needed. I was able to locate a tutor close to my home within a price range I could afford. She was kind, courteous and patient with my 16 year old daughter. I would highly recommend Wyzant ot my friends, and have.

I am so glad and thankful for the WyzAnt website locating and finding a tutor made easy with WyzAnt. In the past asking family and friends if they knew someone was getting old because often times you would get help, but not for someone who wanted to help all the time. With the WyzAnt website you find people (retired teachers who are willing to work with your schedule and work with you on a regular basis.) So far I am pleased with the service that I am receiving and would surely recommend WyzAnt to others.

Great tutor
I happen to stumble upon Wyzant when researching how to find a tutor for my daughter. It has been so easy. I completed an initial search for possible tutors, emailed one and within 1 day had found the most wonderful tutor. I love handling the payment through Wyzant because it eliminates possibly awkward interactions regarding money/payment. It has been a really great experience, and I have no complaints. I have already recommended Wyzant to a friend.
Finding tutor
I found your site lookin for a tutor for my daughter who has ADHD and the tutor has been great. My daughter is shy but the tutor is great with her. I am so glad I found your site. It has been great.
Why didn't I know about this sooner?
Tutoring facilities suck. At least in my experience. When I realized I needed a math tutor, I was SOOOOO irritated at the prospect of wasting my money on some tutor with a rigid teaching method that's going to rob me for all I'm worth. So I went to google and found WyzAnt. Since tutors vary in price it was a lot easier to find something in my budget, and the reviews help me determine if a tutor seems to be what I'm looking for. I was kind of nervous handing over my payment information, but WyzAnt has customer service policies that protect clients from being charged for services they either didn't want or weren't satisfied with. I spent about $100 on tutoring and placed two math levels higher than before, saving me about $400 in unnecessary tuition. THANK YOU WYZANT!
Lots of qualified tutors!
I've used two tutors so far for my son, one for AP calculus and the other for editing college application essays. What I like about using WyzAnt Tutoring is the ease of finding qualified tutors on very short notice. Both tutors emailed me back within few hours of my request and my son received the help he needed. Both tutors were knowledgeable and personable. I like that there is a tutor for every budget and there are plenty of tutors to choose from. I also like that there is no upfront fees or the need to purchase a plan in order to start service, the pay as you go works for me. I will definitely use WyzAnt in the future and will recommend this service to anyone who needs extra help. Thanks.
Great tutor search
So far I am very happy with the tutoring experience and how easy it is to use wyzant. I love being able to look at the tutors' profiles and have tutors contact me. I chose a math tutor I thought would best fit my son's needs but after three sessions I decided to try someone else and actually think the new tutor is a better match for my son. I like how easy it is to try someone else. I also like the "paypal" system and not having to worry about paying the tutor directly.
My Experience with WyzAnt
My experience has been very positive - my husband was the one who signed up for WyzAnt to find a Spanish tutor for me as a birthday gift! We are now living in Miami and my high school/college Spanish has not be used for a very long time. He went through the service to find several choices for local tutors. On my birthday, he gave me the list of eight people he believed were a good fit and then I went in and found the tutor who I thought would be perfect for me. The suggestion of meeting a potential tutor before beginning the process was excellent. We met for coffee and I very quickly knew she was perfect for me. One other plus of WyzAnt, when you have a problem with the site and need help, WyzAnt customer support troubleshoots and responds quickly with a solution. I highly recommend WyzAnt for motivated individuals who need tutoring support!
