Finding a good tutor is a lot easier.
I had a hard time finding a tutor who teaches German until I found out about WyzAnt. In just a matter of minutes, I found a local tutor who teaches it. WyzAnt is very good at certifying good tutors. When I once went to customer service with a concern, they quickly helped me and I was completely satisfied. Wyzant does a good job to make sure I am not disappointed. I also appreciate WyzAnt's diverse payment methods. This is a great organization and I am on track of being fluent in the German language. I would recommend WyzAnt to any one.
Extremely Helpful!
I was in desperate need of an AutoCAD tutor and stumbled upon Wyzant. After going through several tutor's profiles, I found THE BEST one. Tamera M. is not only rad but was extremely helpful. Excellent one-on-one tutoring experience!
We could not have asked for a better tutoring experience! Steve F. responded to my request very quickly (and on a holiday weekend). He was very knowledgeable, well prepared and patient. He immediately put my teenage daughter as ease when working one-on-one with him and helped her fully understand the chemistry concepts she had been struggling with for a few weeks. We highly recommend Steve for high school chemistry tutoring and will absolutely reach out to him again should my daughter need further assistance. Big shout out to Wyzant as a whole, as well. The website and entire process was very easy to navigate with many choices of tutors and immediate help!

Really helpful with SAT tutoring.
I liked that you could search tutors and see show many hours they had tutored in specific subjects. We found a great tutor for my son for the SAT. She was easy to set up lessons with and very good at giving him specific things to work on. She used the lesson time effectively. My son’s score went up 100 points. I am very happy to have found this site.
Great Experience
I had an outstanding clarinet teacher who had recently obtained a Ph.D. in music. He was talented, sensitive and amiable. I made more progress at age 73 in under 6 months then I anticipated possible. The internet worked well.

Two years ago my son was struggling with 9th grade math. He was feeling incompetent and unsure of his potential. Miss Tracy helped him bring his grade up to an A, she explained math in multiple ways to help his understanding, and she still after 2 years continues to effectively support and nurture his learning. My son is now a confident math student and we are thrilled with his progress, his confidence, and our friendly relationship with Miss Tracy.
Many tutors to choose from
There were such a large response once we typed in our subject, price range and location. The two tutors, Mica and Dianne, did a good job in explaining the subject matter to my daughter as well as showing her shortcuts to use with her Statistics calculator!!

Seamless Online 1-on- 1 Learning Experience
I am doing chemistry tutoring online with Nulie O. So far my experience has been great. I have learned a lot that has helped me review for my AP Chem class next year. My tutor is very helpful and clear. My preference is in person tutoring but other than that it has been great!
The best choice when finding a tutor
I have used 3 different tutors from Wyzant and like the fact that I can pick the tutor that best suits my needs. I also like the fact that the payment is done through Wyzant; avoiding any possible payment problems. I would choose Wyzant again!

Three Lesson Learner
I have not needed much help from instructors, mentors, teachers, or tutors over my lifetime but I was in a course that just, frankly, had me super-upside down and confused. A friend suggested Wyzant. After I figured out how to work their website (everyone's is different and have their own ways) and I got over some technical issues I had on my end, I met a tutor who spent three evenings in a row for a total of five and a half hours and bang, I got it, passed the final test with a lot of room to spare. If you and the tutor can mesh, then this is the place to turn!
Online 1-on-1 Learning Experience
I had to refresh the page after making changes and for me to view the instructor. The program was user-friendly and I was able to view in real-time what my instructor was doing.

My GRE tutor was excellent. I did not achieve the results I wanted for the quantitative section, but that was due to lack of time to practice.

Life saver
So far everything has been smooth. The only thing is I wish there were more $20/hr tutors. The app works great.
Highly recommended by son's College, learning center
Wyzant was highly recommended by my son's College LCR. They said many kids use it and it has really helped. We found an excellent tutor for Calculus and my son says that he is confident he will bring his grade to an A from a Fail. I almost went with another company, but that company felt very pushy and they wanted 1500 up front. I decided that the school would know better, and took my chance, I am so glad I did.

Good experiences so far
I have used Wyzant for both of my children and have found tutors that are amazing for them. It is easy to narrow my search for my children's needs and easy to message and communicate with the tutors. I have tried two other tutoring services, but I will continue to choose Wyzant. It seems like the tutors on the site are receptive and eager to work with the children.

Great experience with Wyzant
I've had my third tutoring session and am very pleased with my progress so far. I have quickly come to realize that there is no way I could have learned Adobe Illustrator with YouTube tutorials or from a book, alone. Having a live person working directly with my is the quickest and most efficient way to learn. Barry has been great, customizing my lessons to my needs and current level of skill. I've learned a great deal and can't wait to eventually move on to Adobe Character Animator and After Effects.
I'm having a great time and finding the right tutor is important
Somehow I just knew the tutor I first selected from the plethora of options was going to be a good fit for me. I am really enjoying my on-line tutoring experience. Her method is a little different from what I do for leaning Italian on my own and from other classes. But this is what I need to get my brain to learn and think differently. I love that I discovered Wyzant and I share this discovery with all of my friends.

Great Tutors!
Wyzant connected me to many friendly tutors who seemed very qualified and eager to teach! I was very excited to be connected with Kerstin K. for my German tutoring. She was both extremely experienced and also very friendly and personable. Kerstin did not use one method for my tutoring, but hand picked things for me from a variety of sources based on my needs. In a short amount of time I learned a lot! Unfortunately, due to life circumstances, I have had to put my language learning on hold for now...but when I’m ready to resume I will for sure call Kerstin to continue! This has been a great experience for me and I can highly recommend her! :)

Good resource to finding a tutor
I was looking for a math tutor for my 3rd grader who was having difficulty with fractions. I googled tutors in my city and I found Wyzant. I reviewed tutors profiles and reviews and settled on a tutor. The website was easy to follow and allows you to message the tutor to ask questions. Wyzant also offers a good fit guarantee. I am very satisfied with Wyzant, thank you.

Amazing Service. Became indispensable immediately
Picture this: Sunday, late afternoon. HS junior is freaking out about a functions (math) test the next day. Enter Wyzant. We were set up with a tutor 1.5 hours later, and my daughter had a great lesson. Grade from test? A! Since then we’ve used it for two history papers (results A- and A) and SAT prep (taking test in few months...but she is learning so much! I’m confident she’ll go up at least 100 points). Every tutor has been very good. I can’t tell enough people about this App. It has the potential to alleviate school stress, one student at a time!
Kudos to Wyzant Tutors
Ms. Rosalyn has tutored my grandson (age 13) for 2 years. The first year was for math and because of the tutoring lessons, he did very well and was saved from a failing grade. This year he is being tutored in English and Science and Math (when needed). I came across Wyzant when looking for tutoring services on the internet and this seemed like the best option because of the affordable prices and easy registration. Since I have engaged Wyzant services, my grandson has manage to go from F to high C's & B's in just 2 semesters. I like the flexibility offered by the tutor. If my grandson does not have homework in one subject, his tutor manages to go over another subject which shows she cares about her students and is very compassionate about the work. Our tutor is the most pleasant person to work with and keeps parents informed by making herself available for questions as they arise. Wyzant is #1 in my book and I highly recommended their services!
Wyzant - a great resource for people who are skeptical about online tutoring
Although I was doubtful about online tutoring (for math), I have come to the consensus that Wyzant online tutoring is the real deal! It can be harder than you think to find a tutor in your area, so after doing some searching, I turned to Wyzant and found my math tutor, Denise. She has been a total life saver! My scores have improved substantially and I'm proud of how far I have come since I started. If you are having doubts about online tutoring, I would strongly consider Wyzant as an option. With Wyzant, it's very easy to log on and connect with your tutor. I am a real student who has struggled with math since I was very little. If you are struggling, I guarantee you can find someone on Wyzant with a lot of experience who can help you. I promise you, this website isn't a scam. I'm so glad I considered this an option.
Excellent, Qualified Tutors
I just finished a Master's level statistics class for Behavior Sciences. It was an accelerated program and really difficult for me. I contacted Wyzant in a crunch. Over 3 weeks, I used 2 different tutors and they were both amazing. I did reach out to other tutors that were either not available or they were not capable of helping with my specific needs, but they were all very helpful, quick to respond, and professional. The level of help I received was truly excellent. When I need help again, I will be contacting Wyzant!!

At first I was disappointed because all the tutors were out-of-state and we wanted a hands on lesson, so I wrote back to the website to explain our problem. Someone responded right away with a list of qualified tutors in our area and we were able to make an appointment within a day or two. Excellent customer service and tutors too.
Perfect Tutor Match
I searched and searched for a tutor to help me learn Xcode and Swift as I build my project. Then Wyzant found a tutor for me that was a perfect match for what I needed. My tutor is very patient, knowledgeable and is always stretching my brain to learn more. I'm so excited to be learning Xcode and Swift and making real progress on my project!
Couldn't make the process any easier
My son was failing Geometry up until 1 month ago. In spite of going in for extra help with his teacher, he felt overwhelmed and totally lost. He had tutoring in Algebra last year with some results, but as we got down to the wire with 1 month of school left, he had pretty much given up. I started researching various online tutoring and came across Wyzant. You get a full bio of various tutors, their specialties, and their rates. That's how we came across Kent. The whole process was so easy to navigate and he was great at communicating within very reasonable periods of time. We would send the study guides or homework prior to the session, and he would go over each problem my son, making sure he understood what he was doing. Kent was extremely patient and knowledgeable, and had a wonderful way of prodding my son to figure something out without making him feel frustrated. He started getting B's on his exams and ended up passing the class. I only wish we'd done this sooner. Thank you!

Great experience, awesome screen sharing tools
Not only was my tutor fantastic, but the tools wyzant.com provides work very well - no tech issues, very intuitive, very useful. I can't express how much I appreciate the one on one help I needed so badly. Online courses can be very lonely, and my tutor helped me get through. I have much more confidence with java programming now.
Great product, great experience
I am an adult continuing learner. I encountered a couple of stumbling blocks in trying to restore a SQL Server database and connect to it and to another SQL Server database. So I reached out to Wyzant for help. The online experience is obviously well thought-out, designed and implemented. And my tutor, who is a good bit younger than I, was excellent. He got me over the humps, and he provided that rare gift - encouragement. This is my first encounter with Wyzant. I found it by searching Google. I am so glad that I did. Five stars for this outfit!

Remote Education at its Finest
My tutor has been very supportive of my academic success. She is patient and explains things thoroughly as many times as I need it and in various ways to help me understand the work we are doing. My stress level at attempting homework and approaching problems is greatly decreased. I am excited to share Wyzant with other students and parents to boost their confidence.
Excellent tutors!
I've used two of the tutors from Wyzant. I needed help with understanding the photo cataloging system "Lightroom" by Adobe. It's a very difficult program to use, at least I find it to be, and both the tutors I had from Wyzant got on my computer and helped sort out the chaotic job I had been doing of filing things, then they spent plenty of time showing me how to use the system properly. I've had to have them go over things many times, but they have been patient and kind and just keep on showing me how to do it. I'm really thankful to have this website here where I can find help. In fact, I have an appointment tomorrow morning with one of the guys, and now I can ask better questions and get further with the learning from where I was at the start of this. I tried to do YouTube tutorials, but somehow it just didn't work for me, I need someone to watch right with me and answer my exact and particular questions as I'm looking at the page in front of me. You can't beat that kind of help!
Found a great tutor
We found a very experienced tutor for my son. Three sessions worked well for gaining basic knowledge+ in one area. We will continue with more sessions later this summer. I'm glad that good people with lots of experience are sharing their knowledge with the next generation. So helpful.

Awesome Experience
I love this online tutor program. I needed help with my online stats class, so I googled online tutors. This website came up and I'm so glad it did. The program is easy to use and there a lot of good tutors! The lessons can be recorded and reviewed later. Very helpful!

Simple and easy to use
I have been very pleased with this platform. The ability to review all tutors by criteria of needs was very important. It is extremely easy to use the site, for making apt and communicating with our tutor. I am not what you consider tech savvy, but this program has been very easy for me and therefore one of the reasons I picked it. You also pay as you go. So there is no pressure and can easily see what days and times are available by each tutor.

Great Learning Experience
