Barry D - very helpful tutor
Barry D was an awesome tutor. WYZANT is way better than teaching in some high schools. My son failed the ASVAB test and Barry found his weakness and worked with my son. From scoring only a 18 and 21 the last few times after Tutoring with Barry only 4 sessions my son jumped to a 46. This was only within a week of tutoring. I recommend you all to use WYZANT tutor - they have knowledgeable experts in tutoring and take the time to know your weaknesses. Thank You WYZANT And Thank you BARRY D.! We got our $$ worth better than other tutoring websites 👍
Amazing Tutors

Building confidence
My daughter is working with Dawn, a tutor from Wyzant, to review before she starts Algebra 2. In the 2 weeks she has had tutoring she has really built her confidence up about what she remembers and is looking forward to Algebra 2!!

Seamless Online 1-on-1 Learning Experience
I started using this platform during my Epidemiology course for my MPH at the George Washington University because as students, we received 5 sessions to access a tutor. Recommended to me by a former classmate, I began meeting with my tutor and started to feel so comfortable and more confident in the materials, and my quiz scores began reflecting that. After the 5 sessions were over, I continued then to use Wyzant services, because I saw and continue to see improvements in my comprehension of the material, and now in Biostatistics and have been very grateful for both my tutor, Anita and this service. Highly recommended for students who need extra guidance and support in some of the more challenging courses!
Excellent experience
I have use a Wyzant tutor three times and I am a very satisfied customer. Log in is very easy and accessible. There is plenty of tutor to choose from. My son needed help with Applied Calculus and he just got a 90 on his first test. Thank you. Rachel is the best.
So many to choose from!
My daughter has been struggling with school work and I wish I knew about Wyzant earlier. Not everyone is rich where they can afford $40 or $50 each time, so I like the fact there are people out there that are very smart and can help her to get better grades and feel better about herself. Now with $15 dollars per hour, I can have her go 2 or 3 times a week.
Easy Scheduling with Amazing Tutors
The initial process of setting up our daughters sessions and finding a tutor worked out wonderfully! Our tutor is extremely knowledgeable on the subject matter and very patient. I’m very happy that we found Wyzant!
Our tutor is more like Family
We have had the same tutor for two years. We started with Wyzant during Covid. We were blessed to have selected a tutor that has followed my daughter through her math courses in highschool. Even though we live miles apart, it is more like he is family. My daughter doesn't want anyone else to assist her. She feels very comfortable in his ability, and she can call him up anytime that she needs assistance. Her understanding in mathematical equations has increased, and she is now an A student in math.
My experience with Wyzant is excellent.
Wyzant is an excellent online tutoring site for college students such as myself who need help in various areas of subjects. I am currently working with Hunter L. who is an excellent math tutor. I highly recommend Hunter if anybody ever needs help in math tutoring. On a scale from 1-4 I give him a 4 star rating.

I needed a tutor for my self and it was difficult to find tutoring for adults. I found Wyzant in a Google search. Wyzant is mostly user friendly. They are easy to contact when you have a problem. The tutor I found was great. He was quick to respond and helped me get unstuck and pass my exam.

I had four lessons with Rachel L because I was struggling in my college math class. This was my first time using an online tutoring program and I was very impressed. I had a grade of D at the time I started with Rachel and by the time the semester was over I got a B on my math final and brought my whole class grade up to a C. Rachel L is a fantastic tutor. She's patient, understanding, professional, and just has an all around great attitude and personality. I highly recommend her if you or someone you know is in need of a math tutor. Also, the Wyzant platform is very easy to use and a seamless experience. I was extremely satisfied with both the Wyzant system and my tutor, Rachel L. I owe a lot of my academic success to her!
A Great Learning Platform & Awesome Tutors
I am learning Brazilian Portuguese in preparation for my dream vacation in Brazil sometime within the next year, or so. Being a bit of a researcher, I scheduled time with a few tutors. It actually made it harder to choose because all were truly great. It's so wonderful to have so many options of different tutors and different teaching styles. The Wyzant platform is user-friendly and to date I have had no technical issues, or any problems. It's a great way to learn a new language. I highly recommend Wyzant. Two Thumbs Up!
Great experience so far.
I've had 3 in person sessions and have a 4th on-line session scheduled for next week - trying to get control of my some Mac storage problems and ensure my Photos library is properly backed up/duplicated. My tutor is truly awesome - knowledgeable, professional and personable, and I have made great progress. Plus she is teaching me some shortcuts and tricks I never knew existed! Each session has been billed immediately and accurately - online reminders and billing statements are clear/helpful. So far, I would recommend the Wyzant platform and my tutor without reservation - I only wish I had tried it earlier!

Wyzant's platform is so easy to use, and to find quality tutors. I am so grateful for this! The online meeting rooms never have a hitch, sound is great and the recordings you get back from it make tracking progress or remembering something said so easy to use.

Excellent and Easy to use
Wyzant is the best; I highly, highly recommend it! I was so scared about upcoming exams and tried to use another company, and they over-promised and failed to deliver. I searched and found Wyzant and Mona instead. Wyzant helped me in less than an hour. Thank goodness. Mona is amazing. She built up my confidence and helped me earn an A in the class. Found Mona again to help me with the second level of the course.
High quality website with excellent tutors
Had a great experience our first time using the site with Ruben showing my daughter how to use garageband. The money spent was well worth every penny!! I highly recommend Ruben and the Wyzant platform. I didn't even know such an amazing resource existed until yesterday

Wonderful Experience and Great Results
My son wis enrolled in AP Physics. His test scores were consistently in the 60% range. With only three tutoring sessions, his last test score was 100%! Amazing progress and instruction.

I Really like using this Wyzant especially for finding a tutor who can tutor in college subjects, my daughter who is in college. Each tutor has their bios, reviews, and what they specialize in. If you pick a tutor and if he/she is not a good fit for your child you can search and select another tutor through their website. I highly recommend Madhur K for math especially Stats!!!
Fast response and lot of options!
I found this site very useful because I had the opportunity to choose and take my time to decide with many options that were available here. Serena S. was my tutor and she was amazing. She was very patient with me, understanding I did not have any experience in photography and edition. She took the time to explain me from the beginning and repeating every time it was necessary. She also was on time and very professional having all her tools available. I recommend this site because it seems the tutors are serious and they respond very quick.
Finding a good tutor is a lot easier.
I had a hard time finding a tutor who teaches German until I found out about WyzAnt. In just a matter of minutes, I found a local tutor who teaches it. WyzAnt is very good at certifying good tutors. When I once went to customer service with a concern, they quickly helped me and I was completely satisfied. Wyzant does a good job to make sure I am not disappointed. I also appreciate WyzAnt's diverse payment methods. This is a great organization and I am on track of being fluent in the German language. I would recommend WyzAnt to any one.

Excellent one-on-one tutoring experience!
We could not have asked for a better tutoring experience! Steve F. responded to my request very quickly (and on a holiday weekend). He was very knowledgeable, well prepared and patient. He immediately put my teenage daughter as ease when working one-on-one with him and helped her fully understand the chemistry concepts she had been struggling with for a few weeks. We highly recommend Steve for high school chemistry tutoring and will absolutely reach out to him again should my daughter need further assistance. Big shout out to Wyzant as a whole, as well. The website and entire process was very easy to navigate with many choices of tutors and immediate help!

Really helpful with SAT tutoring.
I liked that you could search tutors and see show many hours they had tutored in specific subjects. We found a great tutor for my son for the SAT. She was easy to set up lessons with and very good at giving him specific things to work on. She used the lesson time effectively. My son’s score went up 100 points. I am very happy to have found this site.

I had an outstanding clarinet teacher who had recently obtained a Ph.D. in music. He was talented, sensitive and amiable. I made more progress at age 73 in under 6 months then I anticipated possible. The internet worked well.

Two years ago my son was struggling with 9th grade math. He was feeling incompetent and unsure of his potential. Miss Tracy helped him bring his grade up to an A, she explained math in multiple ways to help his understanding, and she still after 2 years continues to effectively support and nurture his learning. Many tutors to choose from
There were such a large response once we typed in our subject, price range and location. The two tutors, Mica and Dianne, did a good job in explaining the subject matter to my daughter as well as showing her shortcuts to use with her Statistics calculator!!

Seamless Online 1-on- 1 Learning Experience
I am doing chemistry tutoring online with Nulie O. So far my experience has been great. I have learned a lot that has helped me review for my AP Chem class next year. My tutor is very helpful and clear. My preference is in person tutoring but other than that it has been great!
The best choice when finding a tutor
I have used 3 different tutors from Wyzant and like the fact that I can pick the tutor that best suits my needs. I also like the fact that the payment is done through Wyzant; avoiding any possible payment problems. I would choose Wyzant again!

Three Lesson Learner
I have not needed much help from instructors, mentors, teachers, or tutors over my lifetime but I was in a course that just, frankly, had me super-upside down and confused. A friend suggested Wyzant. After I figured out how to work their website (everyone's is different and have their own ways) and I got over some technical issues I had on my end, I met a tutor who spent three evenings in a row for a total of five and a half hours and bang, I got it, passed the final test with a lot of room to spare. If you and the tutor can mesh, then this is the place to turn!

So far everything has been smooth. The only thing is I wish there were more $20/hr tutors. The app works great.
Highly recommended by son's College, learning center
Wyzant was highly recommended by my son's College LCR. They said many kids use it and it has really helped. We found an excellent tutor for Calculus and my son says that he is confident he will bring his grade to an A from a Fail. I almost went with another company, but that company felt very pushy and they wanted 1500 up front. I decided that the school would know better, and took my chance, I am so glad I did.

Good experiences so far
I have used Wyzant for both of my children and have found tutors that are amazing for them. It is easy to narrow my search for my children's needs and easy to message and communicate with the tutors. I have tried two other tutoring services, but I will continue to choose Wyzant. It seems like the tutors on the site are receptive and eager to work with the children.

Great experience with Wyzant
I've had my third tutoring session and am very pleased with my progress so far. I have quickly come to realize that there is no way I could have learned Adobe Illustrator with YouTube tutorials or from a book, alone. Having a live person working directly with my is the quickest and most efficient way to learn. Barry has been great, customizing my lessons to my needs and current level of skill. I've learned a great deal and can't wait to eventually move on to Adobe Character Animator and After Effects.
I'm having a great time and finding the right tutor is important
Somehow I just knew the tutor I first selected from the plethora of options was going to be a good fit for me. I am really enjoying my on-line tutoring experience. Her method is a little different from what I do for leaning Italian on my own and from other classes. But this is what I need to get my brain to learn and think differently. I love that I discovered Wyzant and I share this discovery with all of my friends.
