Great Tutor
I was so happy to find WyzAnt. I Googled tutors in the area I was searching for and WyzAnt popped up! It gave me a great selection of tutors to choose from and then I was blessed when Leroy B. responded to my request for physics tutoring. My son is a college student that was not clear on physics so I did not want him falling behind because the class moves very quickly. Everything happened so fast with WyzAnt and the tutor we chose. There was no wasting time and my son was able to tutor with Leroy B. only days later at our request and time. He is an excellent tutor and extremely knowledgeable. Leroy B. has a great way of teaching kids and very efficient with corresponding back and forth. It's hard to be in a different state and know that your kid is upset and wants to succeed but is having difficulty. I can only say good things about finding WyzAnt and Leroy B. It has made my son, my husband and myself at ease. We know my son is in good hands because Leroy has outstanding qualifications. I highly recommend WyzAnt to families. I want to thank Leroy B. for helping my son feel confident and for giving him the knowledge he will need to succeed.
Very easy to find tutors in my area

A great source for tutors
This is an easy to use service/website for finding a highly qualified tutor in your area. Very quick and easy to use with replies from interested tutors (our tutor is a high school math teacher with a degree from a highly rated university) in a couple of hours. Easy payment system.

Life Saver
My daughter was unable to attend any of the ACT training sessions by the school and the other local classes because she works and cheers and has very little free time. We needed to find someone who could work on her schedule. WyzAnt and Alan K, our tutor, saved us! It has been incredibly easy to arrange times and pay for tutoring through WyzAnt. We will forever be grateful. The reviews of the tutors were also helpful and put my mind at ease when it came time for that first session. Of course after the session, when Alan lived up to all his reviews, my appreciation and love of WyzAnt was solidified.
Great resource for tutors
My experience with WyzAnt has been excellent. Our family just moved to a new area and our daughter needed some extra reading assistance. Since we had no connections and it was summertime, I was worried that finding a good tutor would be difficult. With WyzAnt, I had an excellent tutor lined up immediately and we have been very impressed with her level of experience and skills. I would highly recommend WyzAnt as a resource.

My daughter's first tutor (that I got off of Craigslist) unexpectedly quit after 3 weeks near the beginning of the school year. I was unsuccessful in my search for another through that web site, so I called a couple of tutoring agencies. A representative from one agency responded, but their fees were more than I could afford. That representative suggested a website that she as being a "Craigslist for tutors." I went to WyzAnt.com, read what they are about and how their service works. I liked the payment options, how they allowed me to choose a tutor. I liked that they allowed me to put a potential tutor through a vetting process. I liked being able to communicate with the tutor. I like being able to choose a tutor according to my budget. I like WyzAnt.com for their satisfaction guarantee or you don't pay for the first hour. My daughter and I love her new tutor, Alec G. I just wish that I knew about WyzAnt.com at the beginning of the school year. I may go back to WyzAnt to find a tutor for my son. There are so many tutors for just about every need, for every budget. I'm a happy mom.

Fantastic site!
I discovered WyzAnt on Google in a desperate search for a tutor for my 11th grade daughter. The site was very easy to use and I was able to read about the tutors without joining anything. It wasn't until we actually made a plan with a tutor that I signed up so I really liked that aspect of the site. The tutor we found is beyond amazing and really should just tutor people for a living! Easy process to find a tutor, communicate with your tutor, and pay your tutor
WyzAnt provides an effective means to search for tutors in your area. I was able to quickly find and "interview" a handful of tutors for elementary math. After I chose the tutor, the website made it easy to communicate with the tutor, schedule appointments and pay for the tutoring sessions. I have already recommended the website to co-workers and friends.
Helping my daughter greatly
You have to love when a 16-year old tells you that "it is the fastest hour of the day" and she is studying Geometry! This has been a blessing and my daughter keeps progressing nicely.

Tutor search process
I am very impressed with the number of tutors in the area. I was looking for a tutor with advanced Excel skills for professional development. Yes, I took a LOT of time going through the biographies of everyone who listed Excel as one of their subjects (I think there were about 75), but found 3 who made the short list. After talking with one, and an initial meeting with another, I found one who could assist with both the intermediate and advanced skills. The payment plan was also very easy to get set up. I also like the summary I get after the lesson, as I am getting a very thorough lesson review as well as the amount of money still remaining on my account. Additionally, I called your customer support line with some questions and found your agents to be very knowledgeable. Great job!!!
Excellent Concept on Searching for a Tutor
I really think the way you have this program setup is brilliant. I was able to see the tutor, read their credentials, check to see if a background check had been done, and read reviews of others. All of these things were very important to me. And, I found the best tutor ever in Ms. Simone J. of Mesquite, Texas!
My experience
When my daughter asked to be tutored I asked her school, friends, anyone who may have used a tutor but no luck, so I hit the internet. After a lot of research I chose WyzAnt and I must say I am pleased with the results. I used two different tutors due to certain circumstances and was thoroughly pleased with them both. My experience with Customer Service was pleasant and professional. I am very satisfied with WyzAnt.

Wonderful Site
I asked around school for a tutor and NO ONE, from the teachers to the principle, knew of anyone. I posted on FB and my sister said to check out WyzAnt, that's where she found her son's tutor. One search on there, I found a number that were close by with great reviews. Ms S. is friendly and VERY helpful. Excellent site!
Great tutor search
Overall our experience with WyzAnt has been very positive. We had an issue with the first tutor and a quick phone call to customer service took care of the issue. The payment method is very efficient. My credit card gets billed and I don't have to write multiple checks. Our tutor Alex is very organized and helpful. Would recommend your company in the future.

Adapts easily to different learning styles
Eric has been tutoring our 11th grader online for 3 weeks now. His test and quiz grades in both subjects have already increased along with his confidence. These subjects are particularly hard to grasp for many students, especially considering there's a lot of material given with limited time to convey it. The one on one tutoring that WyzAnt and Eric offer are a brilliant combination. They are able to hone in on specific concepts our son has left class with questions about and figure them out before the next test. We have had a tutor here or there in the past and Eric is hands down the best match. We only wish we had started sooner!

Great Tutoring Option
I really like the service you provide. I especially like the fact that you have background checks. That makes it allot more comfortable hiring someone to tutor my son. If I had to choose one thing to add it would be having tutors that would list if they would be willing to fill in. My son's tutor had to cancel a whole week for a death in the family which was totally understandable. It would have been nice to have had an option for a fill in though. That being said, this is the best tutoring option I've found. I am really pleased with my tutor and the customer support. I will definitely recommend WyzAnt to anyone who needs tutoring. The possibility of having a tutor come to the home made it so much easier to work around my son's schedule. Thank you WyzAnt!

Patient and Flexible!
Working with WyzAnt is very, very easy! Love the fact that we do not have to conduct our own background checks, as they have often already been done. Love the fact that we do not have to worry about paying in person each time as it is automatically charged to our credit card after each visit. JC works great with our daughter. We have been using WyzAnt's tutoring services for 2 years and are very happy with the experience and the results. Last year our daughter, who is away at college, needed help in biology. As parents we felt helpless; but after reading about the numerous WyzAnt tutors, their personal write-ups and the fact that many have had background checks, we felt a sense of relief. Our daughter's grades in biology improved and she was happy with the tutors. Recently, our son has needed a writing tutor and we could not be happier with the tutor that we chose. He is an excellent tutor. In addition, it has been very beneficial to have my accounts combined into one.

In the beginning of the school year I was searching for tutors for my son and daughter who are both in High School. WyzAnt was a wonderful way to find just the help we needed. Tutor Search
I am very pleased with my experience. We had a trial session with two tutors who my daughter did not feel comfortable working with. I contacted WyzAnt and there was no cost for the sessions. Fortunately, the third tutor we tried is the personality fit she is looking for. It is nice to have so many tutors to choose from. The comfort level of the student with the tutor is so critical. I believe using WyzAnt, who has already vetted the tutors, saves a lot of time. It enables us to focus more on the connection between the tutor and the student.
