My experience about WyzAnt is excellent!!!! I was searching for an English tutor, Google search engine lead me to this website. The entire system of the website is built on a very evident way therefore it's very easy to use. Setting up an account is as simple as breathing. I've found the credit system a great idea since like this way you don't even have to deal with about the financial part with your tutor therefore the whole time of each lesson is there for studying. Reading the tutor's profile is giving you an excellent overview of each person, through the initial emails you can set up interviews with them and choose the right teacher for your needs. So far I think I've found the best English tutor in Renate and I am absolutely happy with my choice, 110% satisfied with her teaching techniques, her ability to attention to details and her personality!!! Make it short, WyzAnt deserves 5 star and so as Renate got 5 star from me!!!!

Tutor Profiles are Very Helpful
I have only been a WyzAnt customer for a couple of weeks and am extremely happy with the service! My daughter was out of school for three months due to an illness and has to make up a huge amount of work in a short time frame. I was panicking since I had to find a few tutors in a relatively short amount of time so she could get the help she needed right away. The school was unable to provide suitable tutors during the summer months. I found WyzAnt while searching the internet. One of the main reasons I choose WyzAnt because it was so easy to search for and screen possible tutors in my area. I was able to review their profiles to learn more about the person who might be spending a lot of time with my child. The well detailed profiles also helped me to determine who will fit in my budget, who had background checks and if references were available. Customer ratings were also huge factors that affected my decision to hire. Once tutors were selected, I was even more satisfied. I now receive summaries via email immediately following each completed session as well as confirmation emails for scheduled lessons. This is an added bonus for me since I work full time, and the emails help me maintain my daughter's schedule much easier. I just passed along the WyzAnt website to the Vice Principal of my daughter's High School. Thank you for helping me find qualified tutors!

My experience has been very positive using Wyzant. Very soon after I began my search for a tutor, I received e-mails from perspective tutors offering their services. I made my selection based primarily on how closely I was located to the person. All candidates that contacted me seemed to be well-qualified and would have been acceptable. My tutor seems a very nice person in addition to being a very good tutor. He is prompt and puts thought into the lessons that he makes relevant to what situations I will encounter in my travels. He offers insider advice for my trip to Germany since he has spent time there. I am very please with what we have accomplished so far and excited about what we will cover before I leave for Europe.
Great tutor.
Overall, it was a very good experience. I felt a little unsure at first because I could not verbally contact the tutor before payment, and although, I understand why you set it up that way, I was still worried about a scam. I had never heard of your company before, but we were a little desperate for a specific type of tutor, so we felt willing to take the risk. Jennifer was great!! And my son more than doubled his test score on the ASVAB, and is now a proud member of the US Navy. Although, a little expensive, it was worth it!

I found WyzAnt when searching the web for a tutor. I had never used tutor services before so I was starting from scratch. When a credit card was required to contact the tutor of interest I was alarmed. After researching the internet to ensure WyzAnt wasn't a scam program I entered the requested information. Best decision ever!!! The tutor I contacted responded immediately. She was professional and eager to help my son. Tutor search successful with wyzant
I was stressing over finding a Latin tutor this summer, and I was going to go back to a previous tutoring organization, but they were charging a lot of money. So I just Googled Latin tutors and your website came up. Clicked on it, decided to give it a go. The Latin tutor that I came into touch with is very knowledgeable and a great teacher. So I thank wyzant, great job, keep it up, it was simple and easy.

I am very pleased with the WyzAnt tutor search process. I like the reliability of searching through tutors who have been vetted. It's much more reassuring since the tutors come to our home. I also like the ability to pay on line and not have to worry about payment. I appreciate the ability to get a discount by paying for more sessions at once. I found the tutor for my son within a week and he has been great. I ended up choosing a more expensive tutor but he is getting great results, so the additional cost is worth it to me. I chose the tutor based on his excellent recommendations and specific feedback on the specialized area I was seeking. I was pleased to find the evaluations were merited. Wyzant makes finding local tutors very easy. We've used them twice for spot help for our son in Algebra 2. Searching is relatively easy and the payment arrangements are convenient. They communicate well throughout the process. No bad surprises. You won't be sorry.
Accessible tutors network.
I was looking for ways to improve my child's skills in English Grammar. My search included several education & learning companies and three websites for private tutoring. It was immediately apparent that per hour costs are significantly better when using a private tutor. Background check, short summary of professional credentials, feedback from previous students, price range per hour, feasible traveling distance. I was able to submit my request outlining all the specifics that I am looking for, and I received many responses within just a few days. Payment arrangement is very easy and does not require negotiations, potentially painful for both sides. In the field of English Grammar tutoring price ranges are dependent upon experience, and we are fortunate to have former college faculty tutoring my kid on one-on-one basis. I am sincerely pleased with overall experience and will do it again.

Ease of use
I stumbled upon WyzAnt in a google search for a tutor. Yours was the only website I looked at. The first tutor I got in contact with turned out to be just what my son needed. They're a good fit and my son is improving in math with his help.

I was searching high and low for a good math tutor and it was really hard for me to find the right person. I went to the school which was my first option cause it was free but the tutors there were horrible and they struggled with the math I was trying to learn. One even cut my 2 hour session to one hour stating she "had to go bowling". I realize at that point I had to take some action quickly. I searched the internet daily but the tutoring was very expensive. Than someone told me about WyzAnt TUTORING and how affordable and good the tutors were. I was shocked to know I could search for a tutor right in my area. It was also many affordable packages that fit my budget as well. It was an answer to my prayers and I found a qualified tutor to help me before it was too late. Thank God for a good Tutor and WyzAnt.
Good service.
So far the service has been exceptional in expediting a tutor since we had one and found out this person had been removed from the list. We found another tutor(s) within days and began tutorial sessions this week. Both tutors were very cordial and professional in discussing their qualifications, time schedule, and willingness to engage with my son's teacher to prepare lessons plans for the tutorial sessions. We are using two tutors and are extremely very pleased with both of them.

Impressed with the service and the tutor
I've not had the best of luck with tutors this year from other services I've tried. Was not sure what to expect when signing up with WyzAnt, but I was desperate for help with my statistics driven Reliability Engineering course, so I threw caution to the wind. I'm glad I did- I'm very impressed with the set up and professional approach I've experienced with the company so far. The tutors seem to be well screened, and the tutor I ended up finding to work with was amazing! I got a 98% on my midterm, and previous to meeting with her I was hopelessly sinking. I'd recommend WyzAnt to others with no hesitation.
Chemistry Tutor search
WyzAnt - a great tool. We found a chemistry tutor through WyzAnt. The first one I contacted didn't respond for several days but I selected the "have other tutors contact you" button. Only one did but they turned out to be perfect. Very punctual, engaged, knows the topic well, and is getting through to our son.

I found Wyzant by doing an online search for a language tutor near-by to my winter residence in Juno Beach, Florida. After entering my requirements, I was provided with a list of persons as well as their qualifications. WOW got an "A."
I was able to understand and follow the very hard course in Physiology with the help of the tutor I found here. I never felt uncomfortable with the payment style and did find it very professional in nature. Never had a problem with this service at all. Thanks!

Only been using WyzAnt for a few weeks, but so far I am happy with this service. Our tutor we have coming is very good and my daughter really likes her. I am hopeful it translates into better grades!

I looked at several tutors because there were two subjects that I wanted to focus on for my daughter. I was easily able to find multiple tutors that fit. The gentleman we are using currently is beyond amazing. He is such an excellent teacher that we are seeing the results in her grades after only two sessions.

Great Tutor Search
We needed a math tutor for our daughter, starting researching and your website came up first! We looked through it and read up on all the tutors in our area and thought we would give it a try! We were not how it was going to work out at the time. We went through the process which was quick and easy and made a great decision. We found an awesome tutor right away and loved how the whole process worked. Every lesson is documented and we have all our charges/confirmation in a file! We receive updates after every lesson!! My experience with finding a tutor with WyzAnt has being great, I was able to find a great Tutor to help my understand managerial accounting as a whole. So far my tutoring sessions has been helpful, but wont be able to really evaluate my progress until after I have taken my exam and actually pass it, then I will be able to grade my progress. Easy to use and great tutors
The service is easy to use and there are plenty of tutors to choose from. My tutor is excellent! I like that I can select from many qualified tutor and they can be background checked. I found a wonderful tutor who my son really likes. She is lighthearted and covers the topics we need. She also provides wonderful feedback on each session. This is especially important since she tutors him at his after school program.

Using Wyzant was a piece of cake!
I had a very unusual request to find a tutor for 4 children of an Executive of ours from Sweden who was bringing his extended family over for two weeks this summer. The entire process of searching for and working with a tutor to undertake this was very easy through Wyzant. Each time I spoke with your Customer Service I was always impressed with their above and beyond attitude. I would certainly use your services again in the future and recommend it to others.
Great tutor and way of finding one.
I was looking for a computer instructor and of course looked at the web to find that mostly there were courses which I enrolled in the local college. I was immediately doubting the efficacy though not necessarily the quality of the instruction I was going to get at the first class at the college. Not so when I discovered Wyzant. First of all I was wanting the individualized care I received from Wyzant. I liked that I could choose the instructor with the very relevant aspects of how far they would be and flexibility involved in the timing of the lessons, i.e. more hours in one meeting, and days we could meet as opposed to a school. Also one would not be stuck with an unsuitable instructor for whatever reason. In a school it is that instructor that they assign and that is that. I like the feature that one can pay by credit card to the company. With another type of service I would have to pay the instructor if I got one privately on the spot and not pay over time should I need to do so and that is the advantage of paying with a credit card as we all know. I am very happy with my instructor from day one and would recommend this company for any of the tutoring needed. I see that there is a myriad of instruction one can get through Wyzant. Kudos!
Thank Goodness for WyzAnt!!
I've tried in the past to find tutors through the local colleges, newspapers, friend referrals and have never had luck finding a tutor. Getting someone to return your call was nearly impossible and then when you did find a student to help, it was only for a short time before they moved on to other activities dropping their tutoring jobs. My husband found WyzAnt and signed us up. That day we had Tutors contacting us. We found a WONDERFUL Tutor that started the very next day. My son is now getting all the help he needs and is finally getting a handle on his Trigonometry class. We will be staying with WyzAnt for all of our future tutoring needs!
Very satisfied with results
I was looking for a tutor to prepare for the math portion of the GED exam. I tried WyzAnt without knowing anything about them. Once the appropriate information was submitted I received 6-8 email responses from potential tutors and was able to have them provide information regarding their experience. Several were eliminated because they were more focused on languages and social sciences. The person I chose is excellent. He is patient, prompt, flexible, and his instructions are clear. Rates are reasonable and billing (credit card/paypal) is efficient as well.
Great tutor search
I found WyzAnt surfing the internet and I'm glad I did. My daughter who is special needs (autistic) likes her tutor. The tutor explains everything to me that she went over with my daughter. She is always professional, polite and always on time for her session.

My experiences with my tutor and the WyzAnt organization were excellent. My tutor did a good job of breaking the problems into small parts and explaining those parts.
Three tutors all 5 stars
This is the third time I have used WyzAnt to support my daughter's education. During her senior year in high school my daughter was taking an AP Chemistry class with a teacher that was not qualified to teach the course. Using WyzAnt I was able to find a tutor that had actually taught AP Chemistry with great results. Her final grade in the class was an "A". Later in her senior year she was taking a dual enrollment calculus III college course. Using WyzAnt again, I was able to find a tutor for a few sessions to help clarify a couple of areas. Once again the tutor was very knowledgeable and a great help. This year, in her first year of college, she needed a little help with linear algebra. My daughter is in college on the West Coast and we live on the East Coast, so I was thrilled to find that WyzAnt could help find a tutor that I knew was not only extremely qualified, but trustworthy. This was the first time I could not meet the tutor, so using WyzAnt made me feel comfortable about who would be working with my daughter. This tutor is extremely knowledgeable and has made sure that they would have enough sessions to help her study for her final. Finals are next week, and I'm sure she will do well.

I was looking for a Math tutor and just typed in Math tutor, Jacksonville, FL. WyzAnt popped right up. It was easy to enroll. Tutors contacted me immediately. Great Tutor Find
Hi! Two days ago we realized that we needed to find a tutor, so we did an internet search and selected WyzAnt. We looked the site over and felt the safeguards were sufficient. We contacted our tutor and in only in two days we had our first lesson with him in Physics. We found him to be Awesome at his job and we are very satisfied at the end of only our first session. We are looking forward to more.

Easy to find great tutor
This has been a great experience. I came across your website via google. The WyzAnt site was easy to use, easy to find local tutors. There was a good selection of local tutors. We found a great grad student to tutor my daughter in AP Chem. Her grade improved after her first session, and greatly improved after her second. This site helped me link up with a wonderful tutor who is really helping us out! Could not be more perfect. Tried another site and the tutor cancelled appointment an hour before saying too busy and then cancelled the next one due to St. Patrick's Day... too unreliable.
