My experience
When my daughter asked to be tutored I asked her school, friends, anyone who may have used a tutor but no luck, so I hit the internet. After a lot of research I chose WyzAnt and I must say I am pleased with the results. I used two different tutors due to certain circumstances and was thoroughly pleased with them both. My experience with Customer Service was pleasant and professional. I am very satisfied with WyzAnt.

Wonderful Site
I asked around school for a tutor and NO ONE, from the teachers to the principle, knew of anyone. I posted on FB and my sister said to check out WyzAnt, that's where she found her son's tutor. One search on there, I found a number that were close by with great reviews. Ms S. is friendly and VERY helpful. Excellent site!
Great tutor search
Overall our experience with WyzAnt has been very positive. We had an issue with the first tutor and a quick phone call to customer service took care of the issue. The payment method is very efficient. My credit card gets billed and I don't have to write multiple checks. Our tutor Alex is very organized and helpful. Would recommend your company in the future.

Excellent Process
This is a wonderful way to locate a tutor for your exact needs. The system is elegant, and very user-friendly. Once we secured our tutor, it made a huge difference with LSAT prep. I have already recommended WyzAnt to several people.
Adapts easily to different learning styles
Eric has been tutoring our 11th grader online for 3 weeks now. His test and quiz grades in both subjects have already increased along with his confidence. These subjects are particularly hard to grasp for many students, especially considering there's a lot of material given with limited time to convey it. The one on one tutoring that WyzAnt and Eric offer are a brilliant combination. They are able to hone in on specific concepts our son has left class with questions about and figure them out before the next test. We have had a tutor here or there in the past and Eric is hands down the best match. We only wish we had started sooner!

Two wonderful local tutors
I searched through all of my friends, teachers, local college looking for a Spanish and an AP Chemistry teacher for my son. In less than 30 min, we had two tutors that have turned out to be a perfect fit and helped to turn my son’s grades from struggling Cs to confident As!
Pleased
I have been pleased with my experience to date, both during our granddaughter's prior and current math tutoring sessions (Algebra I and Algebra II). All tutors have been knowledgeable and effective in their instructional methods.
Great Tutoring Option
I really like the service you provide. I especially like the fact that you have background checks. That makes it allot more comfortable hiring someone to tutor my son. If I had to choose one thing to add it would be having tutors that would list if they would be willing to fill in. My son's tutor had to cancel a whole week for a death in the family which was totally understandable. It would have been nice to have had an option for a fill in though. That being said, this is the best tutoring option I've found. I am really pleased with my tutor and the customer support. I will definitely recommend WyzAnt to anyone who needs tutoring. The possibility of having a tutor come to the home made it so much easier to work around my son's schedule. Thank you WyzAnt!

Patient and Flexible!
Working with WyzAnt is very, very easy! Love the fact that we do not have to conduct our own background checks, as they have often already been done. Love the fact that we do not have to worry about paying in person each time as it is automatically charged to our credit card after each visit. JC works great with our daughter. He is patient and explains things in an organized, easy to understand manner. He is also very professional! We are so glad we found this service, and him!
Very Effective Way to Find a Tutor
This has been a very effective way to find a tutor. I like very much that you have tutors that have had background checks, are flexible and are very knowledgeable about the subjects they state that can help with. I also very much like the funding being handled online.

We have been using WyzAnt's tutoring services for 2 years and are very happy with the experience and the results. Last year our daughter, who is away at college, needed help in biology. As parents we felt helpless; but after reading about the numerous WyzAnt tutors, their personal write-ups and the fact that many have had background checks, we felt a sense of relief. Our daughter's grades in biology improved and she was happy with the tutors. Recently, our son has needed a writing tutor and we could not be happier with the tutor that we chose. He is an excellent tutor. In addition, it has been very beneficial to have my accounts combined into one.
Extremely helpful and well educated tutors
In the beginning of the school year I was searching for tutors for my son and daughter who are both in High School. WyzAnt was a wonderful way to find just the help we needed. The two tutors we have used are fantastic and have helped my teens' grades improve greatly. I am very thankful to WyzAnt and would highly recommend this to others.

Great Tutor Search
It was very easy using WyzAnt to find just the right tutor. I was able to view profiles and then choose someone who was qualified to assist me on brushing up on math skills that are needed to help out with college math. This has been extremely beneficial to help me achieve my goal.

Tutor Search
I am very pleased with my experience. We had a trial session with two tutors who my daughter did not feel comfortable working with. I contacted WyzAnt and there was no cost for the sessions. Fortunately, the third tutor we tried is the personality fit she is looking for. It is nice to have so many tutors to choose from. The comfort level of the student with the tutor is so critical. I believe using WyzAnt, who has already vetted the tutors, saves a lot of time. It enables us to focus more on the connection between the tutor and the student.

We were in the market to find a French tutor for my son and WyzAnt came up via my Google search. It was a total surprise to me how the whole journey played out. It was easy, smooth and awesome all the way! We found a couple of tutors who passed recent background checks and have good experience. We were lucky enough to end up with our top-picked tutor. She's great with my kid and excellent in all her classes. My son loved her lessons. WyzAnt has an easy and trusted system for payment and also asked for feedback after each class. Great Experience
I stumbled upon this site and am so grateful for such a great find! The tutor we chose communicated well, was timely with meetings, easy to work with and was focused the entire time. WyzAnt could not be an easier site to work with; we evaluated our tutor after each session and the site checked in to see if we were pleased. Could not be happier with our first experience and will be searching for another tutor, as ours went back to college.

Finding a tutor was easy here. I'm very pleased with how easy it was to locate a tutor near me. I was looking for a sewing tutor and found several near me. After reviewing all of their information, I was able to narrow down my choice to one. It turned out to be a great match. We have met 3 times now and I have learned so much from her. Positive experience, would recommend
My experience with WyzAnt was very positive. I found WyzAnt by Googling tutors in our area. I was hesitant at first but was not getting the feedback I was hoping for from friends and we were in need of a tutor as soon as possible. I looked through reviews and tutor profiles and found some that I thought would be a good fit for our needs. I was contacted quickly by a number of tutors and was very lucky to run across one that proved to be a great pick, Carol B. It seemed that having to go through a website to make payment to our tutor would be cumbersome but it was seamless and they offered a discount package. On a couple of occasions I needed to call them and easily reached a live person who in both instances was extremely helpful. Background checks are available for clients and confidentiality is honored for tutors. I would use this service again and absolutely recommend it to anyone in need of professional tutoring. After reflection of advantages vs disadvantages, I can only come up with pros. WyzAnt offers a platform that works for both tutors and clients.
Learning experience
I am a dedicated and loyal customer to Wyzant. I have been using Wyzant for my daughters since 2015 and have been very pleased. The tutors varies in price range which I can appreciate and even with a reasonable priced tutor, the tutor is still very knowledgeable as any other tutor. The tutors from Wyzant helped my daughter from 8th grade and now into their college years, this company helped my girls succeed in school with their knowledgeable and patient tutors. Hassle Free, Easy, Good Selection of Tutors
I found WyzAnt using a Google search and was a bit unsure as to what to expect. I had a great response from 2 tutors and an initial response but lack of follow up by a 3rd. Very happy with the communication, payment, tutor we chose, and all aspects of my experience. I've recommended this site to other friends.
Very helpful --- found a tutor within a few days
Although our experience to date has been limited, my grandson has been very happy with the tutor selected & it appears there has been significant progress already. The communication (through WyzAnt) made the initial contacts & followup with potential tutors an easy / efficient process.

My experience with WyzAnt has been great. I had difficulty finding a Japanese tutor for my son through the more traditional routes. So upon finding your website I was thankful to see several tutors who offered this subject. Yuko is an amazing person and educator so we are quite satisfied in that regard. We really like her reviews of lessons and other feedback, which I am happy to receive online. I like paying through the website as well. It smooths out the rough edges of the relationship. So I would definitely recommend WyzAnt.
Useful Service
It was very easy to connect with a tutor using WyzAnt. I like that the initial communication is through their site rather than giving out personal details and that reviews/background screenings are available. Payment, scheduling, etc. is all very simple. The service is a bit email-heavy for me, I could do with less in my inbox. Otherwise, I am very happy with the service.
Breadth of Options
Many options are available: in-person or online tutoring; price per hour and experience and number of hours tutored for a specific subject. This was important as we engaged a Latin tutor for our son as a tutor with a 1,000+ hours tutoring the subject was available online at a price I consider to be very reasonable versus tutoring costs in the area in which I live. The online option allows my son to sit in the comfort of his room and desk with no commuting time to meet with a tutor. Additionally, the whiteboard tool makes online tutoring a viable option.
Very Quick Response
WyzAnt made it extremely easy to find a French tutor for my high-school age son. We had one response within a few hours and several more within 24 hours. Billing was easy to set up, the rate is good, and the quality of our tutor is high.
Great Tutor Search for Exactly what we needed
This is an amazing website that allows you to look for private tutors without going to the costly competitors like Huntington. I believe that a private tutor specifically focuses in on your child and gears the lesson to his/her exact need. We found a wonderful tutor with so much knowledge of his area of expertise. WyzAnt tutoring is the BEST way to find a tutor!!!

WyzAnt responded promptly to my requests for tutors and provided several potential individuals to interview. The payment system and recording of lesson information is easy and efficient. Absolute Amazing Tutoring Experience
Using WyzAnt has been great, as it really provided me the chance to learn a language when my school was not offering it. Immediately upon registering, I was able to see quite a lot of people teaching said language in the area around where I live. I was quickly contacted by many, but in the end, chose one who has been absolutely incredible. WyzAnt has been a great help to me in my learning experience, and I would recommend it to many.
